The continent of Africa can be said to be in a tough group, Ghana itself is in Group H, which is inhabited by Portugal, Korea and Uruguay, Ghana's chances of qualifying for the round of 16 are very slim, only Mexico and Senegal have a great chance of qualifying for the round The last 16, because in the Senegal group only the Netherlands is a strong country, maybe Mexico's toughest opponent is Argentina, but if Mexico is able to compete with Poland, the opportunity to qualify for the round of 16 is wide open.

Ghana versus Portugal is surely going to be an interesting match. Portugal is going to have problems playing against ghana. But I think Portugal is a good enough team to win. I also think that Ghana really needs the help of foreign coaches. Because a foreign coach can insert some great tactics into the team and that is not being provided by the local coaches for the team in my opinion. and that is certainly a thing that is holding them back.

The truth is being a local coach already has put these men in a disadvantageous situation especially in Africa, local coaches are never regarded and believed not to be even needed. I think the Ghanaian team need a foreign technical crew or better still, the present coaching team up their game. I think Ghana stand a chance to qualify and this is not the first time they have been in same Group stage with Portugal. The Ghanaian will give Portugal hard time. I don't think it is going to be easy game for Portugal.

For those who do not know that the clueless Austin Egueavon only resigned as coach of the Super Eagles but he is still the technical head of all the national teams of Nigeria should know that now. This is bad. Eguavoen should be sacked completely.

You know it. They just asked him to resign so that they can deceive Nigerians that Eguavoen has left while he is still there collecting salary. Those people running football in Nigeria do not mean well for football in Nigeria. Look at how disorganised the Nigeria local league NPL is. There is beating of football officials and players almost every match day in Nigeria by fans of host teams and no one gets caught and punished for it.  How do you expect such a country to have a sound national team?

I think every group is death for Africa countries. Who do Egypt have aside Mo Salah? With all due respect no one. He is the star player in the team, all the pressure is on him because the team is dependent on Mo Salah. if he is injured, the Egypt national team will not be able to scale through the world cup.  The groups the African team found themselves are very tough, Ghana to be precise is going to be knocked out from the World Cup early imo

The situation of Muhammad Salah has become just like the situation that Zlatan Ibrahimović was in probably in the last World Cup in 2018.

I really don't think there was anyone good in the team except for Zlatan Ibrahimović just like there is no one that good in the Egypt lineup except for Muhammad Salah.

Now obviously I love Muhammad Salah and I really wished that they would qualify for the world cup. But to be honest I really don't think  Egypt, as a team did not deserve to qualify for the world cup.

Ghana is certainly in one of the most difficult group in the world cup but certainly aren't new to some of the opponent. Portugal and Uruguay are not new to Ghana. It will be helpful if they don't just focused only on Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Portugal clash because this Portugal team has the likes of Diogo Jota, Bernardo Silva and Cancelo who are lethal in their attack.

I don't blame Muhammad salah for not qualifying it is not easy for him, he is the only one carrying the team along , he gave the Egypt team  the best he can. One man can't make a team what the team is supposed to be.

I think it is very hard to blame Salah, when it comes to national teams; you have to adapt to the quality of players around you and i think Salah did well to that regards. The Egypt national team is quite defensive and rely on counter attacks (Salah plays an attacking setting in Liverpool). Also do not forget Mane has Kouyate, PSG midfield maestro and Koulibaly, proven qualities. And importantly, African football is not for the weak

The thing is players also have their peak seasons and most of the aforementioned players by you were dropping in performance level, you cant imagine Mohammed Salah to strive hard to get a goal in matches this day and at the end he might ended not scoring a single one, those team will only make use of them when they were at peak and drop them to their country once they are done with them and that's what is going on right, players must sit down to know that after English clubs drops them, they are coming back home where they have failed to perform.

That's kind of the "standard" thing that happens amongst fans and the media, they always need a scapegoat. I think Egypt didn't do so badly in their two games against Senegal. Everybody knew it'll be a very tight competition after having seen the final of the Africa Cup.

Senegal doesn't have an impossible group with Qatar, Ecuador and the Netherlands, but it won't be easy for them to reach the group stage. They should avoid a loss against the Netherlands and have to go for the win against the two smaller teams.

It is normal to blame Salah, for a player of his quality, technicality and wealth of experience in the game so far, it is only expected he's been able to influence games for the national team. We have see the likes of Sadio Mane and Mahrez do that for Senegal and Algeria respectively. It is true only Salah can't carry the entire team game after game but at least he should try. He seems to be uninfluential in their game that's why he's being criticized.

It is not that they do not know the right thing to do. They want to keep recircling the old hands there. If you know the level of corruption that goes on at Nigerian football house you will be shocked. Everybody knows that these people do not have the interest of football at heart. Austin Egueavon gets paid regularly and he is not owed any salaries so it is not much of a concern to him what happens with our football. For football to grow in this country a foreign coach will be better because we respect foreign coaches more than local coaches.

Coaches like Austin Eguavoen make me want to hate local coaches, that guys doesn't know what he's doing. The last time Nigerian went out of the AFCON shamefully was when he was in charge same as not qualifying for the world cup finals. I strongly want local coaches as I believe they're our best bet in getting the best out of the players since they'll understand them better instead of foreign coaches but we should actually give opportunity to coaches with great tactic and not merely based on high ranking.
The draws for the world cup games are in and in my opinion senagal has the easiest draw. They can easily defeat other team member in group A expect Netherlands. Ghana has a hungry Ronaldo to face, that'll be a tough group. The official soundtrack for the World cup is out and an African was also represented on the playlist.

Well, he couldn't have said it better, I've seen before that some people don't really highlight the style of the African teams, the truth is I wanted to see Nigeria in the World Cup, since I was little I saw a World Cup where Nigeria shone a lot and the way they they made their football they fell in love.
Now the Ghanaian team I hope they continue to wear that team with the white shirt for the World Cup that makes them stand out and at the same time show that power they have. On the other hand, I think Senegal can beat the Netherlands.

The problem is in a lot of cases, people really don't want to trust the local coaches because obviously there are better options and people think that is the way to go and it obviously could be. but it is true that the where local coaches will understand a problem, The other coaches will not, and even if they do it will take longer.

I think Ghana is not going to win against Portugal. Portugal really seems to be hungry to achieve great things in the world cup. I am not saying that they will surely achieve whatever they want but they are going to try better.

Senegal beats the Netherlands is another one. You know, there was a time when the Netherlands team was one of the best but now those days are long gone.

Taking into consideration that Ghana is not an easy team that could complicate the classification for Portugal, yes, you are absolutely right, at this moment it is difficult to determine how it will be to play against Portugal, there are still many days before the World Cup begins, sometimes we cannot take into account that the level that Portugal or Ghana have right now will be with the same performance that they will have in November, this is something that is difficult to determine, we do not know if Portugal or Ghana will play well or badly, for now what matters is uqe Portugal is clear that whether Ghana has a local coach or not, they will be a very hard team to beat.
