Morocco win 1-0 vs Portugal which was unexpected regarding how good Portugal it played vs Switzerland.
This time, Morocco made history for the African continent and Arabic people. What impressed me is how fierce they were with the ball. They weren't playing a simple match, they were playing a life or death game! My respect

We Africans can be proud of Morocco because they are the only African team still competing in the World Cup. They are extremely fortunate because they overcame numerous obstacles and faced formidable opposition before triumphing. They have now become the first African team in World Cup history to advance to the semifinals.

To be honest I didn't expect Morocco to beat Portugal but Morocco played a very good game and beat Portugal. They conceded only 1 goal during the whole tournament. They scored that goal in their own goals. This is a really cool statistic. They defend very well as a team. I have no doubt that they will add excitement to the tournament again in the semi-finals.

Will Morocco's next opponent be France or England? Looking at the map, France appears after the Iberian peninsula. 1- Spain, 2- Portugal, If (3-) France rivals them, it will be a good and funny memory.

Exactly , there was this much expectation on the Spanish team this world cup, And this amounted pressure on the entire players.
But on before the world cup, the Spanish team is not what they used to be before, there was a drop as regards to their performance, so what makes it to become a headline and a big defeat was the fact that people was not expecting a team like Morocco to send them packing.

That is what makes football so entertaining to watch. An unexpected team defeating a team that everyone expects to win a match. Spain had played their best till that point. They were able to keep Morocco at bay until penalties, despite having the majority of scoring chances in that game. To me, penalties do not assess a team's perfection, thus their exit was just unlucky for them, whereas Morocco benefited from the penalty that day.

The Spanish team did not do anything special about their team before coming to this world cup. It has been the Spanish team we used to know if you can remember in 2018 World Cup at Russia spain faced Crotia and they were able to complete 1000 passes and they could not win the match. history repeated itself against Morocco they had 1050 passes and still lost the match. most of their passes are not forward past, they pass sidewards and backward pass this is not what is needed in the World Cup to make a win and Crotia has a good penalty history

I have seen teams get the most passes in a game and still lost the game so I think the philosophy of holding possession should be accompanied with getting goals too. Against Morocco, the Spaniards held on to the ball more and got all the possession possible but couldn't break the Moroccan defense to get even a goal and when you lose a game like this all the possession gained just goes down the drain. The priority should be getting goals because goals get you the win you want not just keeping possession.

Morocco became the first African team to qualify for the semi-finals. To be honest, no one expected the Moroccan team to qualify for the semi-finals. Qualifying for the knockout round was challenging for Morocco. But they made the impossible possible. They are unbeaten in 5 matches. But today's win against mighty Portugal was much more difficult. The Portugal team won 6-1 against Switzerland in the last match as well. But Portugal was defeated by Morocco's match strategy today. Mainly because of their defensive match strategy, Morocco is performing very well in every match and is able to win. At the same time they are very lucky.

To be honest, I also think so. Even in the African Continent Cup itself, Morocco is not the best team, there are still Senegal and Cameroon which are better, but I think their achievements in the World Cup this time are extraordinary. Do you that Morocco wining all their matches is by the grace, and that is what you suppose to understand, Because the defeat of Morocco by the Portugal is out of surprise because when you come in terms of rating Morocco and Portugal and players it's knowns that Portugal have a qualified players than Morocco, so comparison or hoping that Morocco can be the best in this world cup by wining the cup, is not something someone can be assured of.

The super eagles don't have the defense to hold a lead like the Moroccans, we only have forward players that can score goals like Osimhen so that dream isn't coming to reality anything soon. Also we still have corruption to fight and this are things distracting the players. Nigeria have very good players but when they play as a team, they seem average which they're not. Whatever record the Morocco side end up setting will last for a very long time as it'll be impossibly to break that considering the world cup will be filled with more strong country starting in 2026.

When the world cup started nobody believe Morocco would be the ones flying the African flag high. Everyone thought country like Senegal will be the ones doing what the Moroccans are doing. While we're celebrating Morocco defeat of Portugal and qualify for the Semi Finals of the FIFA World Cup, as a result Africa will get 11 slots in the 2026 World Cup that'll be held in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. We'll get an increase of 9 permanent slots instead of the usual 5 since the number of nations that'll be eligible to partake in the world cup is getting increased, we'll also get another slot through playoff and another just because an African nation has reached the Semi Finals. That means we'll be getting a total of 11 slots.

This news means the likes of Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, South Africa, ivory coats etc can all qualify for the world cup which will bring more beliefs of an African nation going all the way to the finals and finally winning it and that's if Morocco doesn't shock the whole world by winning the tournament. When the World Cup started and Morocco drew, I watch them and knew that they have a very good team.

I congratulate you for your successful predictions. I think Spain were eliminated from the tournament because they don't have a classic striker. Morocco could have gone to penalties by locking the match against them, and they did so successfully. However, I hope you'll agree with me that they can't win every game with closed defense and penalty kicks, or win a game by scoring just one goal per game. I don't consider them lucky against France when I make some realistic predictions. I hope they manage to lock the game and qualify for the final but I have to make a realistic comment.

It is not impossible for Morocco to become World Cup champions. Greece became the champion of the 2004 European Football Championship. However, this is not always going to happen, and such tactics are very unlikely to hold up all the time. I would also like to add, I think Morocco play football more effectively than the 2004 version Greece, but the general mentality is the same. I just wanted to make a comparison.
