I'm worried about Dallas the 49ers I'm a scary offensive machine.  Purdy, miraculously already at ease, is spoiled for choice between a more than stellar RB who also acts as your WR, a TE with no need for introductions and a WR department that only Samuel would be enough.
The baddest defense in the league then completes the picture.  Do you think Dallas or 49ers will go through?

W0w, Brady has more playoff wins than the entire cowboys franchise!
That’s insane, considering how good the Cowboys were in the 90s when I was growing up.

I was surprised to see that stat also.  Not only were the Cowboys tough in the early 90's but the late 70s and early 80s also.  It's crazy how much success Brady has had, he may be holding onto many of those records for all eternity.

He doesn't have that spark, its like hes just going through the motions.

He had a wide open field right before the half and didn't even try to run for the first.

Disappointing showing by Brady and most of TB. Brady should retire but the thing is next year he can still make a sucky team slightly less sucky, so he probably won't.
He should but there are several good teams which will pursue him and for someone like him it would be impossible to say no to all of those offers.

According to the rumors there are supposedly 4 teams interested in him, the 49ers, Titans, Raiders and Dolphins, the 49ers are the best option by far however I would say that if Purdy takes them to the SB then that door will close down, the Dolphins also makes sense, he is at Florida already, Florida has no state income tax and Tua has too many injury issues, while both the Titans and the Raiders have some NE influence and he could feel at home by going there.

I'm sure that Brady would love nothing more than to retire as 49er, but I really don't see that happening.  Obviously he's the greatest QB of all time, but he's not likely to make the 9ers better, or fit into Shanahan's system.  The only way he comes to SF is if Purdy completely blows it or gets hurt.  Shanahan already had a pocket passer in Garoppolo, but he never trusted him.  I don't see Brady as someone that Shanahan would put a lot of effort into getting on his team, unless of course he visits the Seahawks...

Thinking about it from the most realistic perspective; I'm of the opinion that we may have seen the last snap of Brady's illustrious career last night.

Yeah there's absolutely no chance that Brady ends up in San Fran.  They've got what's called a good problem on their hands now trying to decide whether they want to go forward with Lance or Purdy.  So QB surely not an issue there.

The Dolphins are also highly unlikely to be a moving spot with Tua showing well for the most part, outside of his continued concussions.  I mean if the guy is smart he'll move on from football if he wants to have a brain that's not made of mush by the time he's 30, but I don't see him walking away.  The Titans aren't nearly good enough for Brady to want to go to.  Getting rid of AJ brown ruined those chances.

I could see the Raiders, and have heard this rumor, I'm just not sure why that would be more attractive than Tampa.

I think the Niners have a really good chance of winning it all.  Which is crazy.  Not sure about Dallas. They played well last night but they are not consistent.

Disapponting but not very shocking. Tom Brady has not been playing very well since the regular season. It might be because of the divorce which might also be caused by the bad investment he and his wife made in FTX. He also cannot retire. He has to make $650 million he lost in Sam Bankrupt-Fried's blackhole hehehe.

I seriously doubt that he would have that much invested in one company, he doesn't strike me as that kind of a risk-taker.  I can see the scammers making the claim that his share was worth that much.

Yes.

After the divorce, Gisele immediately went to find work and posed topless.

I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it.  That sounds like a salacious rumor, not a news story.  There are multiple reports that Brady owned 1.1 million shares, estimated to be worth $45M in July 2022, while Gisele owned 680,000 shares which were estimated to be worth about $25M.  I was able to find other stories that claim he and Gisele lost $650M but all those stories sound like bullshit to me.

Brady, formerly a prominent FTX booster, owns more than 1.1 million common shares of FTX Trading, bankruptcy court documents show. His ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, has more than 680,000 shares in the same entity.

Here's a story from CoinDesk published in November that claims FTX was trading around $4.50, which makes mathematical sense:

They didn't spend 100% of their net worth into ftx.  Tom Brady also has a 10 year signed contract for $350million as an announcer as soon as he retires.  Either one of them can go broke and instantly be millionaires just on theor likeness.  But there is no way they are both dead broke because of ftx lol

I don't recall anyone ever accusing Tom Brady of being an imbecile, and that would be a pretty imbecilic thing to do.  Even if he was duped into investing in the FTX startup thinking it was the next huge thing, there's no way he would be stupid enough to dump his family's entire net worth.

News "reporting" has always required to be taken with a grain of salt, but these reports need "all the salt in the Dead Sea" level of skepticism.

Brady and his wife absolutely did not put their entire net-worth's in to FTX, absolutely a rumor.

In any case, this Cowboys' kicker might be in a mafia list of paid players somewhere. Missed 3 extra point field goals? This is very head shaking.

Actually it was a streak of 5 consecutive missed points after.  Four in last night's game, and one in the last regular season game against the Commies.  Mafia connections are not out of the realm of possibilities.

San Fran.

Ouch, my bleeding eyes!  Tongue

I think the Raiders are a very likely scenario.  Or, staying put in Tampa.  All that is assuming he plays at all.  If I were in his position, I'd start focusing on the family and make an effort to reconcile with the wifie.  There are plenty of ways he can continue to earn money without playing football, possibly even more than he would earn by playing.  He's already earning millions from endorsements alone.  Regardless of how much he had invested in FTX, I doubt it's about the money.

I think the Niners have a really good chance of winning it all.  Which is crazy.  Not sure about Dallas. They played well last night but they are not consistent.

The only concern I have is traveling to Philadelphia.  Not that the I think the Eagles are that good, but that time difference has been an issue in the past.  I'm rooting for the Giants this weekend with as much tenacity as I'll be rooting for the 9ers.  If the Giants win, the NFC Championship game will be in San Francisco.

@wolf- sorry I'm not very good at splitting out the code here for conversations like you did above..

Your bleeding eyes with the "San Fran" quote...I don't get it..?   Cheesy

I still don't really understand the value of going to the Raiders.  They've got a middling defense, and a so so offense.  Sure they have arguably the games best WR in Adams, and a great TE in Waller, but that's not better than Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and the rest of Tampa's receiving core IMO.  The Raiders do have a better RB, but that's not a bid difference maker.  Perhaps going to the Raiders he's got a promise of being able to run things the way he wants, as well as potentially being told they are ready to load up on top tier free agents. But, who knows lol.

The Niners getting past the Eagles certainly won't be easy. Going to be fun to watch.  (Cheering for the Niners and Giants as well, playing Philly and Dallas, two teams I hate..easy choice).

Right now the 49ers are probably the favorites to win the SB, not only they are completely loaded at both offense and defense, they are reasonably healthy and even the injuries suffered by their two QBs did not even fazed them, and they are also the hottest team with a eleven games won in a row, taking all of this into account they should be the favorites to beat Dallas, especially now that Dallas has so much problems with their Kicker.

Yeah there's absolutely no chance that Brady ends up in San Fran.  They've got what's called a good problem on their hands now trying to decide whether they want to go forward with Lance or Purdy.  So QB surely not an issue there.
And speaking about Lance, it is incredible how quickly things can change, I mean he was supposed to be the starter and yet he got injured so early in the season that he is still a mystery as we have watched so little of him on the field, while the QBs which were picked on the same draft class and round have played for two seasons already.

And now Purdy has completely stole his thunder, not only on the field but also outside of it as 49ers fans are going crazy about him.

And now Purdy has completely stole his thunder, not only on the field but also outside of it as 49ers fans are going crazy about him.

When I was at the game last weekend, the crowd went into the "Purdy! Purdy!" chant.  It was pretty cool, but you could physically see his body language say something to the effect like "it's a team effort."  He just huddled up with his team mates, and they congratulated each other.  I hope I'm just being a cynic, but I keep waiting for Purdy's bottom to fall out.  I hope it never happens, I wish him all the success in the world, but it really bugs me when people want to compare him to Steve Young or Tom Brady.

As for Trey Lance, I was never on board with that pick.  It cost us way too much, and the in the little bit he's played I haven't seen anything that would justify the price we paid.  Obviously Lance has the prototypical body traits to make a great quarterback, but as Purdy has demonstrated, that only goes so far.  The more important aspects of being a great quarterback are much harder to measure, the intangibles, as they are often called: The ability to make split-second decisions, the intelligence to understand the playbook and read the defense, make pre-snap adjustments on the line.  Purdy seems to have those talents, while Lance seemed to struggle once plays broke down.  Both are capable of running around and extending plays, but Purdy seems to have the ability to make something out of broken plays, while Lance only seems to take longer to get sacked.

Kansas should pass easily, the Eagles have a tougher game than it seems, the Giants are a bad customer, the challenge between 49ers and Dallas is beautiful, I see San Francisco better and then I hope for Cincy's victory 🧡🖤

Your bleeding eyes with the "San Fran" quote...I don't get it..?   Cheesy

Most people who grew up in and around San Francisco hate that nickname, but no where near as much as we hate the nickname "Frisco."  Lucky for us the town of Frisco Texas is starting become more well-known, so usage of the "Frisco" nickname for San Francisco seems to be fading.  Good riddance, it can't happen fast enough.

Ahhhh I see lol.  Well for whatever it's worth, I view San Fran  Tongue as the most unique city in the United States.  I've not been to all the major cities, but certainly have been to many of them and I fell in love with San F.  Just so unique and beautiful, IMO anyhow.

I'm assuming SF is probably the team he would most like to go to, but of course it's also now one of the least likely places that would even want him at this point.

Does seem to be a little bit more smoke with Miami.  I don't think it's smart if they like Tua, but they also might be fearing his concussions being a career killer if he has very many more.

That would be a good issue for San Francisco to deal with.  But if Brock Purdy even leads them to a superbowl and lose it, you might see Purdy as the starting qb next year.  I know SF put a lot of time and draft capital in trey Lance but none of that matters over winning.  Look at Brady and what he did to Drew Bledsoe.  You win you play simple Smiley

A Bengals and 9ers superbowl would be awesome!  But, I think it'll be the Bills or the Chiefs.  At the risk of looking past this Sunday and the next; the Bills scare me, the Chiefs not so much.

Going from Mr. Irrelevant to MVP of the Super Bowl in the same year would be what seems like an unbreakable record.  Some thing like that would qualify him for the Hall of Fame, even if he never took another snap.  Plus, it would make for a super cool story line, and I'm not ashamed to admit it was a wet dream I had the night before last.  I mean, a wet dream is one thing, but at my age?

The difference between the Brady/Bledsoe controversy is that Bledsoe was winning games before he got hurt, and Lance hasn't really done anything.  But yeah, I get your point.  If purdy wins it all there's no way he's not starting next year.

I imagine Shanahan will try to trade Lance, but he's cheap enough to keep as a backup for another year.

On that year of the drafts, speculations were high for Trevor Lawrence, Trey Lance and Justin Fields. Trevor Lawrence is presently in the post season, Justin Fields appeared to be much improved on the last few weeks of the regular season, however, Trey Lance is in another year of being in the IR. He might not be durable enough for the NFL, I reckon.

Today I got the cheifs by a field goal and the giants 27-23.  Yep I know I'm a giant fan but just feeling it.  Hurts might have healed a little more but he could do little to nothing against the giants practice squad a couple weeks ago.  Tomorrow I got the Bengals and the 49ers.  I actually thing the 9ers and cowboys game is going to be a high scoring game.  Should be a fun weekend
