I would probably play in a USFL fantasy league, because I'm obsessed with fantasy, but I'm not sure it would be any fun tbh.  There's a reason these leagues continue to fail over and over.  Though I am hopeful that The Rock and his partners on this might have a shot at making a sort of "miner leagues" for the NFL, finally.

I believe that's FCF League (Fan Controlled Football), and it is something entirely different, he is not playing in the USFL.

I'm sure most people have heard of those two wide receivers: Eli Rogers and Taywan Taylor, both of which have multiple touchdowns in their NFL careers.

Jordan Ta'amu (QB) is the top "ranked" player, he was on a few different NFL practice squads last season, and from what i've heard, he's decent.

Fox has committed over $150 million into this production, so it can't be Bishop Sycamore bad  ....we'll see though.

I'm in for the body-cam footage, hope it comes with sound, need those popping sounds. I mean, i don't have high expectations, it will be low-scoring games that's for sure, but it can't be worse than the 2020 XFL season (which was canceled one month in due to covid). Speaking of XFL, i don't recall much of the games, but other things were entertaining, such as seeing a guy in the replay booth with an xbox controller running through the play, or player interviews on the sidelines:

The camera schemes seem might be fun, and the microchipped football is bound to make the game go faster.  Something the NFL is overdue on implementing.  One of the things that (I think) gave the 2020 XFL a chance was they tried to quicken the pace of the game, and take fewer commercial breaks.  There were some funny rule modifications that added a bit of drama also.

I reseeded my backyard yesterday and set up a camera and motion sensors to defend it from the damn turkeys LOL and I think that broadcast will be far more exciting than any summer "league".

There is an answer; turkey season is open until May 1^st.

I only tuned for the 1Q and it is definitely watchable, first play/completion was a 50yard bomb... the second TD a contested one-handed catch. Good enough for me.

I didn’t realize that there were two leagues going on. I thought every current league had shut down a year or two ago.  Is this league 100 yard fields, same field metrics etc? One thing I’ll never watch again is arena football. My buddy was the Tampa indoor league QB for a while so went and saw games, what a joke that league is. Smaller fields, different rules etc, not my cup of tea.

Did they remove that shaky drone cam footage completely? I watched a bit from the Breakers and Bandits game and saw a proper skycam installed, they must have had bad feedback to make the change, better that way though. This dude, Jonathan Adams, man...he had some unbelievable catches/plays:

I haven't been paying close attention, and only just learned about this.  My heart dropped when I heard the news.  Deebo was the brightest spark on our offense last year, he'll be hella missed if he goes.  No one seems to know why he wants to leave, maybe to get more money, have a better chance at a ring, or just to be closer to family.  Who knows.

If it's to get a better chance at a ring, that wouldn't really make much sense in my opinion.  No team is guaranteed a ring, and the Niners held their own up to the conference championship game last season.  Admittedly I was surprised by their success in the playoffs, but hey that's why they play the games.  The speculation about Green Bay seems to contradict the "Ring" reason, also.  Sure, he'd be playing with (arguably) the best QB in the league, but that's no slam dunk.  Exactly how many times has Green Bay won their division and failed to reach the NFC championship?

Although I will say that my hopes for the Niners reaching the super bowl are actually diminished from last year, but largely because I fear the unknown.  Trey Lance is unknown, and Garoppolo won lots of games.  Maybe Deebo sees it this way too, but he's too young to be worried about a ring this season.  Unless, of course, there's an unknown reason that contributes to his urgency.

You will notice this is a growing trend in the NFL. More and more you see guys making a huge fuss about things they wouldn’t have in the past. A lot of it having to do with the franchise tag, that of course the players and their union hate.

I don’t see Deebo going anywhere. Just like how Kyler Murray who removed all his Cardinals photos from instagram isn’t going anywhere. This is how they get teams to meet them halfway, or give them what they want either the next year or when their contract comes due.

I watched this game and the highlights for another.

I still don't remember any players or even team names.

But that number 9 receiver looks like he will get a NFL contract at the end of this. great one handed catch and I love the way he comes down and makes sure he gets his feet in bounds. Thats my pet peeve when all these nfl receivers that cant get their feet in bounds, its not like its THEIR ONLY JOB!
