Pool:

https://grs.suprnova.cc

Still lots of free slots for miners, hop in, we're finding blocks on a regular basis and got all the Googles.

Our Daemon is patched against the various fake share attacks, You really get what You mine.

I will try this pool now.  Wink

had temporary problems with cryptohunger.com.

As usual, make sure you have backup pools setup!

And consider moving your hash rate from bigger pools to evenly distribute hashrate. Currently we have:
7.4GH on dwarfpool.com/grs
7GH on grs.cryptohunger.com
4.8GH on cpu-pool.net/grs
1.5GH on grs.suprnova.cc
0.6GH on groestlcoin.biz

www2.coinmine.pl - DEAD
http://www.omargpools.ca/grs/ - 0 workers?
http://grs.5limi.com/ - 0 workers?

Could we have more hashrate on groestlcoin.biz and grs.suprnova.cc?

Hey guys I am finally in the process of swapping over to Groestl Wink

Asics have finally killed scrypt

Myself & my mate have about 50 rigs btw us ..i have built a BAMT 1.6 ver and finally got it running in test ...

One thing was i was having real problems with some older rigs that have 6970 cards ...tried i20-18-13   tc= 8192 ,8000,6344 and i just get hardware errors ..Also they try to goto 5.5mhash per card

Any help would be appreciated...Really keen on this card and i do see the potential of mass adoption with both vert & groestl etc

thanks

I have 4 6970 cards and I run them only with -I 19 -g 1 -w 256. Zero HW errors and 7,7-8 Mh/s on each of them.

Can u provide you string just to confirm etc

I am testing these older rigs using win 7 etc

www2.coinmine.pl - DEAD
http://www.omargpools.ca/grs/ - 0 workers?
http://grs.5limi.com/ - 0 workers?

coinmine.pl is/was not dead, it had been under heavy DDOS but was accepting shares normally, only the website was affected.
It's back now.

Slight testicle itch with ccminer, anyone know a quick fix?

On both my #2 desktop & my laptop (both Win7 x64) trying to run it - even without a .bat -  gives "missing msvcp110.dll" error but that .dll is in both of the ... win/sys32 ...  as it should be.

On the plus side, all 3 rigs are running 'your' version of minerd no problemmo, after weeks of failing to get minerd to even start up with several other 'flavours'.

 - It also answered my fave 'dumb question', "can you CPU & GPU mine at the same time?"

(I've only been mining Groestl since last night, been X-11 mining since the PoW end for Zeit.)

ANYONE?

I've searched this thread, the ccminer thread & google but NOTHING I've come across solves the problem Sad

Altho it does not address your symptoms it may be worth a try:

from http://www.groestlcoin.org/faq/

Quote
… probably means that you are using incorrect compute module. ccMiner comes with a few .exe files, for example ccminer20.exe, ccminer30.exe, ccminer35.exe. Try ccminer20.exe …

beyond this posting this Q in the ccminer thread would seem a good idea

my bad i forgot i was running 12.8 drivers on the older rigs

Just loaded up new drivers and put my new bamt 1.6 image with the freshly installed sgminer and 7.5mhash per 6970 ...

I must say i am loving that the older cards are smashing the 7950-70's lolz

Just need to get the bamt monitoring stuff working with the newly installed sgminer and will cut over 40 more rigs to groestl ...really happy with the coin so far ..i think there is a bright future for this coin

Cheers Yip Cheesy

there is nothing to be proud of - I had two options basically - wait till they finish, or implement Cloudflare for example. Because implementing Cloudflare means changing DNS, it would disrupt all mining. This would be even more confusing for everyone. So I decided to wait...

Anyway - Cloudflare will be implemented anyway but with proper preparation Smiley

I hate to say this because this is my favorite coin but the new logo looks like something from google services.

I love the new logo, but I will admit that it was kind of cool having the 'square' logo on the CoinWarz site stand out from the rest.

I looked through the list and missed it the first couple of times before I noticed it had changed to the new one.

But I do like the whole new look and feel overall.
