PSG did the thing just as I expected and put an end to their 2-game draw streak. They had a home game against Monaco and got past them successfully by a 2-0 victory. Mbappe is really an invaluable player for PSG now. He is the most performing player of the team currently. I checked his statistics in the Ligue 1 so far and saw this: he got 9 goals and 8 assists in 17 games. And he is performing awesome in the CL too. PSG will really miss him as he will leave the team this summer most probably.

PSG proved that they still dominate Ligue 1, they managed to beat AS Monaco with a score of 2 - 0 scored by Kylian Mbappe.

The match statistics show that PSG only had 2 shots on goal but they managed to score 2 goals, I think this is a testament to their strength.

They can give themselves a little relax after they have good difference than other clubs from second to third positions. They will lose more points but it is not matter for the title competition if other clubs can not collect more points than PSG. I don't imagine how PSG will lose title in this season. Even with their second squad, they will still be able to win Ligue 1 title.

And they lost it last season so in this one, they will not let themselves to be carelessly again and lose it again.

Most people would probably agree with your opinion, I think. It will be very difficult to beat PSG if they can achieve a good performance, but as long as they have not achieved that then other team can still make it difficult for PSG to win. Maybe I will also agree to say that they will win the Ligue 1 title this season.

But in the Champions League I think they will be very doubtful of qualifying for the next round because Real Madrid is a worthy opponent for PSG at the moment.

the french league hasn't had much competition, PSG has almost no opponent in the french league and when PSG loses in the french league it's just because they made a mistake and not because the opponent was strong, but in the champions league they have to play against strong opponents and in this part where they find great difficulties, I'm a PSG and real madrid fan, but I'll root for real madrid

But I came here to say what a missed chance for him to meet Ronaldo on UCL pitch!! But still, nice that he meets Real and tries to knock them out with PSG. The only shame that only 1 has to pass to Quarterfinals

Recently, he has made a big contribution to the team with his goals and assists in not only in the Ligue 1 but also in the Champions League. This is really important for the team because they are aiming the Champions League title at the same time also. And they are already the biggest candidate to win the Ligue 1 title by a huge gap.

Almost half of the total 1 season's matches have been played and PSG are firmly at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with points that are very far from the other teams (including Marseille who are in 2nd place in the Ligue 1 standings with 32 points), it is not impossible if PSG can later become league champions before all league matches are played.

In the next Ligue 1 match, PSG will play Lorient and I think it will be a very easy win for PSG, because Lorient are a team in the relegation zone with little motivation.

I wonder if this trend will continue with Messi scoring more in the Champions League than in the French championship? It looks quite funny because the French championship is perceived by many as a championship where it is easy to "farm" statistics and records. They still defeat their opponents one by one most of the time without considering they play the game in a tight or comfortable schedule. The Ligue 1 has started becoming worse than the Bundesliga as PSG are much more dominant in comparison to Bayern Munich.

I am not interested in a league that is dominated by one or two teams to continue to reign at the top of the standings. such as the French League 1 and the Bundesliga. looks the same with only a few teams being favorites. Instead, the teams that are in the middle and bottom of the standings appear to present a more interesting match. especially for those who like betting, of course, the favorite team's match will appear to have lower odds. but for mid-table team matches, the available odds look bigger.

It can be psychological problem or a signal of early downside in his career. In the last season, in Barcelona Messi still played very well and scored any goals.

I don't think that Messi who is seen as the best player in the world ever will be relieved by scoring a penalty. A footballer like him must be already accustomed to playing under pressure. If Mbappe didn't have a chance to make a hat-trick, then nobody would object to Messi's taking the penalty. But as making a hat-trick is really a special thing, I wish Mbappe took the penalty.

PSG currently has to shift its focus to the Champions League where Real Madrid is a very difficult opponent to beat. I believe the Ligue 1 title is theirs this season and would not believe PSG would be crazy enough to let the title go to another team after failing last season.

So far Pochettino can prepare his players better to face Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League. Ramos and K. Navas are two players who might be able to help the coach to find out the weaknesses of Real Madrid, so I hope that Ramos can help PSG beat the former team he played for for many years. Besides having Messi is something good against Real Madrid because I believe he can help his team to win.

Both France and Germany needs to do some revolutionary things for having some good attraction into Leagues because dominance of just one teams is completely hurting them for long time and this can bring some more issues here both have enough funds for quality and best players but in these leagues many other teams are not able to compete with them and just doing usual roles which is not good for soccer fans.

Sometime back few clubs were doing some good, but recently all are going down very badly with have no enough funds specially French League is much bore for many soccer fans as Lille and Monaco are struggling very badly with Lyon already down and just Marseille is having some good time as staying at top with PSG.

In the last ten seasons, PSG became the champions seven times. This is really huge. PSG are like the king of this league. But this has been really boring also. Lille ended their title streak last season thankfully but PSG will probably win the title once more now. Because they are far ahead of all the teams left and I see no team that can keep up with them now.

PSG is 13 points ahead of Marseille, the difference is quite far, after all in the next few games it is impossible for PSG to lose many points.
There is Marseille or some team under Marseille who will likely drop points in the next few games. Indeed, it seems that this season the Ligue 1
trophy cannot be separated from PSG, after all, PSG is unlikely to repeat the same mistakes as  the previous season. Regarding Lorient who
will be PSG's next opponent, it is very worrying, Lorient plays not much different from the previous season. In fact it looks like this season Lorient is
playing worse, in the last 6 games losing in a row. Looks like Lorient this season will be relegated, PSG will score a lot of goals facing Lorient.

PSG are very comfortable maintaining their lead by 13 points ahead of their nearest opponent which seems to be Marseille now. But there is not a surprising situation in the league table now as PSG were already the favourite to become the champions even at the beginning of the season. After adding Messi to the team, they are stronger now and their main focus is not even the Ligue 1 as they have no problem here now.

I don't expect much from PSG despite having led the Ligue 1 standings by a sizeable difference in points with their current competitors. The unstable performance makes this team unseeded if the next opponent is Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen or other big teams in the Champions League. Messi does make a difference for their team, but the communication between the players has not been good because I think there is an ego to defend. Messi and Mbappe have started to show good cooperation in some match, but that's not enough for now.

PSG need to have better teamwork to reach the Champions League final, but I'm not sure this season they can achieve it if the team's performances don't improve.

Messi and Mbappe's recent performances have been really impressive to me. I was hoping Messi to get used to playing decently at this team and he finally started doing so. I don't expect Messi to play as awesome as his performances at Barcelona in the past. I just want him to play like real Messi. In this way, he will be contributing in a very good way to the team and he will do a great job with Mbappe and Neymar.

PSG continues to lead by a wide margin in Ligue 1.  Marseille is second and Rennes is third.  This year's champion will most likely be PSG.  The Relegation line is more complicated. Saint Étienne is the last.  Teams that are likely to be relegated in Lorient and Metz.

PSG are very comfortable at their place in the league table now. It is like that they are taking revenge on Lille after missing the title chance by a near gap. The teams except PSG really have no chance for the title mostly. Because they don't have a solid lineup like PSG have. And this makes things very difficult for them to compete with a this strong team. As a result, one of these teams become the champions rarely. And as long as the balance of the league is like this, PSG won't have any problem nearly all the time.
