I have no idea about how it happened as both had similar efforts actually. It was an unlucky day for Marseille that's for sure. This loss cost the gap with their nearest opponents to be closed a little more. This is just giving a new hope to Rennes and Monaco now. The team at the second spot qualify for the Champions League groups directly in the end.

As long as you win the game, there is nothing that you should be worried about. The real worry is that they have a few good players that look to be promising and with the way they are playing, those players will want to get out, and even if they could convince bigger clubs to pay a good sum for them, they are not going to be able to build a team with that money that would be at least this good, probably will be worse because convincing great players to come to Nice wouldn't be easy.

All in all I see this as a temporary year and I fear that they will do a lot worse in the upcoming periods, which would be difficult but not permanent, they need to get better.
