PSG have celebrated their success this season because they have lifted the trophy this season, Marseille and Monaco are only 3 points adrift, from the two remaining matches Monaco can be said to still have a chance to finish in 3rd place in the standings, because they do not have a difficult opponent, while Marseille have to face ranners, Strasbourg, although Marseille has 3 points above Monaco but Marseille must not be careless, because if they stumble Marseille will lose the position in second place standings.

Marseille, Monaco, Rennes, all these guys I honestly can't tell the difference in terms of how likely they are to get results. I've been 50/50 betting on all these guys, when the odds are roughly 2x, and it seems to be just a matter of how many goals either side can score first. I'd love to see Monaco back in UCL spot though, and perhaps they'll be good enough to go thanks to qualification, so 3rd place would be enough (for now).

There is no doubt now things are very interesting for these three teams as we are heading for end of this season and these three teams are fighting hard for remaining two spots of Champions League. With tomorrow, we have very important match for Rennes against Nantes if they won then surely they will at third spot and going to face Marseille in next round which is going to decide who is going at third spot at the end of this season with Monaco is going to face Brest in 37 round.

But, last 38th round is also very interesting for these all three teams as Monaco is going to face Lens in away match Rennes is going to face Lille in away match and Marseille is having Strasbourg at home with this all most chances Marseille is going at second and Monaco and Rennes going to wait for result of their match for remaining third spot.

The four teams for positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the euro zone in Ligue 1 are still interesting to watch, because this close points gap makes their position both insecure. If they want to end the season in the best possible place, then surely they cannot underestimate the opponents they face in the remaining matches. That way, their position at the end is very uncertain, because their opponents are not easy it is like a big obstacle at the end of the season.

In my opinion, the most interesting fight (and the most important one since the Champions League ticket is at stake) is for third place: Rennes has one more point (if it wins all three games), but it has two very difficult games left, while Monaco has only two games left and only one of them is difficult. I think Monaco will win this fight.

Monaco is in the best form from than Marseille. Monaco has won their last 8 matches. They are in very good form. In the last match, they also won against a team like Lille. Marseille, on the other hand, is strong team but their performances are somewhat erratic. So for the second place in the table, I still think the Monaco team is the favorite. Because the opponents of the last two matches in Marseille are strong. Marseille are more likely to lose points in these two matches.

Towards the end of the season Monaco are showing something very good now. they are really focused and indeed the result they continue to gain wins in the few matches they run.

Approaching the end of the season, Monaco is indeed attracting the attention of many people, it is very natural because Monaco is very
surprising by winning 8 consecutive wins. Even Monaco's performances are more consistent than other teams, so Marseille, who is in second
place, is now feeling under pressure. Even though Marseille are currently 3 points ahead of Monaco, there are still two games to go. This means
that Marseille's position is not completely safe, Marseille need to win the remaining two games to ensure Marseille is in second place. But because
the opponents facing Marseille are also a strong team, the possibility of Marseille dropping points is very likely. So from the race for second place

What are your predictions towards the new game week

Last rounds games are the worst to predict.
I think Nice and Rennes will win their games tomorrow.
For Saturday, St-Etienne and Metz will fight furiously more than their opponents so I think they could win it. PSG games have to be avoided since they have nothing to fight for. Lyon, Strasbourg and Monaco to win.
Rennes - OM is the best match imo, very hard to predict followed by Nice - Lille. I am counting for Rennes and Nice to win but I won't be surprised to see the opposite.

It is normal, we are at the end of the season and there are way too many people who look like we have no idea how they will do. I am guessing that it will take a while before we could see them play much better than expected, sure it's not going to be like they are going to lose all games all three of them, they will win mostly but at the same time it's not going to be easy for us to decide how they are going to end up winning neither.

I am guessing that the best case for all of us would be to not risk our money and wager on their games, even though they will win most games remaining, it will still not be something simple and would probably lose time to time enough to have is in big loss.

I think in the end, the only one who will have disappointed fans is PSG and of course Bordeaux, what a farce they have both become at top and bottom of the league. Lille, yes, they probably have the season's worst title defence but that was actually 100% expected. I know it sucks where they are now with no European football but they have to understand this was expected when you pick a squad up after it wins.

Monaco, Marseille, even in my opinion, won't have a better chance than next season to try and take advantage and win the league.

It sounds a bit bitter hate against Rennes or Marseilles but I don't hate these clubs. Just have a bit favorite to see their return to the biggest cup tournament in the Europe. Honestly both Rennes and Marseilles have been doing their job very impressively in this season and they all deserve to get a position in Champions League.

Monaco is in improvement process in order to get back the position on top of Ligue 1 as they had years ago with Mbappe as their young and brightest star.

However, problems with Monaco as a small club is they can not convince their best players to stay at their club. So they lose them to bigger clubs in Lique 1 and in the Europe. This way, they can not build up a big club to compete for Ligue 1 trophy or Champions League.

As I said, no matter how good the position of Monaco is, the final distribution of places does not depend on them. If Rennes win the remaining games, it will be third (because they have a better difference between goals scored and conceded, for some reason I thought that they had one more point, but there is no difference - the situation is exactly the same).

There are only two matches left for each team this season, I think there is a really good chance for Rennes to compete for the Champions League qualifier,  but the way Monaco is playing right now I really don't think they are going to lose even one match. I agree, Monaco really wants it and they really deserve it as well. They haven't lost in a while and I can't really remember when was the last time they lost, so I can't really say there is a good case to be made about the current situation they are in right now.

I agree that it will take a while before we could see a big challenge towards PSG ever again, even they lose Mbappe they have enough money to get someone else for that position and meanwhile they could still play for the championship easily with their current squad missing mbappe. However, the other teams have been publicly belittled enough for many years, they are actually growing bigger these days.

One of the most interesting matches in Ligue 1 this week is the Nice vs Saint-Etienne match. Even though Nice are one of the strongest teams
in Ligue 1, but facing Saint-Etienne they had a hard time in the first half. Fortunately entering the second half Nice showed an extraordinary increase
in performance to score 4 goals and finally Nice was able to win. Nice win is very important for them, because Nice try to secure their position
in the top 5, so that next season can play in European competition. And there was a match with an unexpected outcome, in which Rennes was defeated
by Nantes, Rennes defeat also made them have to get out of competition with Marseille and Monaco who are trying to fight for second place.
Rennes are also in danger of dropping out of the top 5, if they do not win in the remaining two matches in Ligue 1.

There is no doubt St Étienne done good job in first half despite good control from Nice but sadly in second half Nice never allow them for any fight back and take their full three points which now giving them good spot for staying into Europa Cup place for next season.

Nice performing very good in last few weeks and their this performance is giving them good chance for top flight in presence of few very good teams like Lyon, Lille and Strasbourg.

Even now they have very few chances for Champions League qualification, but their fighting spirit is amazing which is helping them for good results at very crucial stage of this season now their next challenge is against former champions Lille which is also very important to win for staying here.

Things have gone worse for Rennes in the standings after they got that result today. I mean that they got an unexpected loss against Nantes by 2-1. Monaco and Nice both succeeded in getting past Rennes in the standings after this happened. It was one of the most important games for Rennes but I don't know how they failed like this. They might lose their chance to qualify for the CL as of now too. Rennes have a very difficult game ahead also which is against Marseille.

Rennes have dropped to the fifth position in the standings suddenly after this poor result. They were in a race to join the Champions League but now they have a harder job to do. There are only two weeks to go now and I wonder if they'll be able to revert this situation.

This is a pretty fatal mistake for Rennes because with the results they got yesterday they are now thrown into 5th position and it's getting more difficult of course because there are only 2 matches left.
they now have to get up and must not lose again in the last 2 matches if they really want to compete for the top 3 position because the chance is still there although it is quite difficult now considering that Monaco is still quite victorious with their winning streak
