I don't really know how Rennes managed to lose against Nantes yesterday. It was one of the crucial games for Rennes surely but they failed to win. Nantes won by 2-1 and hit them hard. Rennes have dropped to the fifth position in the standings suddenly after this poor result. They were in a race to join the Champions League but now they have a harder job to do. There are only two weeks to go now and I wonder if they'll be able to revert this situation.

This is a pretty fatal mistake for Rennes because with the results they got yesterday they are now thrown into 5th position and it's getting more difficult of course because there are only 2 matches left.
they now have to get up and must not lose again in the last 2 matches if they really want to compete for the top 3 position because the chance is still there although it is quite difficult now considering that Monaco is still quite victorious with their winning streak

It looks like it's over for Rennes, because in the next two matches Rennes got opponents who are clearly not easy because the opponents are Marseille and Lille. Even though for example Rennes can beat Marseille but still, Marseille will be able to maximize in its last match against Strasbourg. Whereas basically, previously I was very confident that Rennes would be able to win against Nantes because they have an advantage in the number of goals that are used as capital to keep competing for the Champions League zone. But in the end Rennes is really not good enough and doesn't have a winning mentality in this tight competition, because Marseille and Monaco are teams that can indeed maintain their performance because they have a better winning mentality in a competition like this.

Nice team is on fire in this end of season they won their last three games and this week game was impressive they made a comeback after being 2 0 behind against one of the relegation zone teams we know how difficult it is since they desperatly need the points, with this win we will see an impressive competition for the european spots in the last two rounds.

I am also shocked with this result as they were doing amazing job in last few matches, but suddenly they lost three matches which are now bringing them without any Euro Competitions because Marseille is in good touch, and they can thrash them out.

They were doing amazing job and having good opportunity for Champions League, but now Monaco is on and with this they need to beat Marseille for Europa Cup qualification otherwise Nice and Strasbourg both are ready for grabbing this chance they have both games very tough as first going to face Marseille at home and then struggling Lille which is not good but can stop them for any good chance. Now Nice, Strasbourg and Rennes these all having fair chance for European competitions.

Almost close chance with Rennes can reach champion league spot after losing from Nantes 2-1, maybe left 3 points from AS Monaco not guarantee for Rennes can finish on champion league spot standing. I think have good chance with Marseille and AS Monaco will play on champion league after PSG as Ligue 1 winner. Next match against with Marseille and good hope how Rennes can finish on Europe league spot than have play on conference league next year.

3 point lead over Monaco will make Marseille too worried about its position. There is still hope for Rennes, even though it's small, marseille will not provide an easy way for Rennes because they are also threatened by Monaco if they make a mistake in the match vs Rennes. this is a very tough test for rennes if they lose to Marseille they are threatened with appearing in the Champions League next season, but on Marseille's side it is a little more relaxed because they can definitely enter the Champions zone even though they lose to rennes. This is football, anything can happen, Renne's chances of going to the champions league is not slim because their next game which is against Marseille is going to be in their home in front of their fans who will be charing them to victory. They will win and they will make it to the champions league too.

Rennes chance with champion league almost closed with 3 point behind from AS Monaco, beside can win from Marseille tonight I think need to know match result Nice vs Lille because have 1 point left Nice than Rennes. Last matchday losing from Nantes actually Rennes have out from last position for champion league next season. Rennes @1.85, draw @3.75, Marseille @4.00. From the available odds Rennes is really the favorite to win but for some reason, I'm personally not entirely sure. Considering in the previous match Rennes lost by Nantes and also, Rennes lost in their last two matches against Marseille. Also, it is clear that Marseille's current position is very likely to survive because if Marseille loses then Marseille can't be a little calm in the last match later. Therefore, this match is an opportunity for Marseille to widen the points gap, because only then will at least be able to calm Marseille for the final match of the season.

Yes, I thought about this option and strangely the odds are pretty good 1.7 for BTTS (not 1.5 as it could be). But I also doubt the choice and rather I have a desire to make a riskier bet (or two) on the exact score: 1-1 odds 7.2; 2-2 odds 13.
By the way, speaking of correct score bets, I would like to know if there is a way to calculate the bookmaker's margin in this case?

A very tough game is waiting for Rennes now. It is a home game against Marseille and it is one of their hardest games in this season that's for sure. Marseille don't want to lose their place to Monaco in the final moments of the season. I don't think that they will lose against Rennes here. Rennes have no choice other than fighting for a win here. They will need to take risks too otherwise it doesn't seem to be likely for them to be in the Champions League. I think both teams will score.
