Mbappe's extending his contract was not a very expected result to me truthfully. I was feeling very confident about seeing him at Real Madrid in this summer. But he chose to stay here and earn a lot more money. I can't blame him of course as he can do whatever he likes to do. And if the rumours about his new contract is true, I can even say that he did the right thing.    But I still hope to see Mbappe playing for Real Madrid in the future. And I believe it will definitely happen on some day in the future.

Nobody expected it. He dragged it long enough to make us think that he must be leaving to another club if he has been dragging it for this long. I mean it must be something that another team offered that made him reject all the offers from PSG, because if he were to just end up in PSG  then why not accept it last year when they did offer him a contract? Turns out, he was just looking for a huge pay, and he got it.

The talks are he will be getting 100+ million just as a signing bonus and that alone is a lot more than most players are making, the world is filled with players who get 10 million or less, there are not that many players who get more than 10 million, probably 100 or less, and this guy made 10 years worth of it in a single signing bonus let alone his salary.

offer from PSG and showed an attitude of wanting to join Real Madrid. But finally everyone realized that all this time Mbappe had refused

a fantastic contract that is difficult for other players to get. Although in the end Real Madrid's management was very disappointed with

It is very difficult to say which team is the favorite in this match. Saint Etienne's recent performance is very poor. For a long time they did not get any match in Ligue 1. I was also very surprised by Mbappé's decision, I think that saying No to Real Madrid is something that contains a great sense and being very sure of what he chose, Mbappé still has a great opportunity after the World Cup, if he plays a great role, it is possible that it is priced even more and Real Madrid offers a much larger amount of money than PSG, or maybe PSG is no longer so interested, for me everything is a matter of numbers, that is, money On the other hand, I don't see Neymar Jr in Newcastle either, for me he will also stay in PSG.

Saint Etienne this season is stuck in the play off zone and they need to win 2 games to be able to maintain their position in ligue 1 next season, so far the play off match between Auxere and Saint Etienne is ongoing with the temporary advantage 0-1 to Saint Etienne, the match still very balanced in terms of possession but lucky enough for Saint Etienne to score in the 15th minute, even though now Auxere are trailing but they keep trying to attack but Saint Etienne solid defense makes Auxere attack easy to break, I think Saint Etienne must be able to maintain their victory today to ease their journey in the second leg later.

I actually think this match might end in a draw. Not going to be surprised if it is a goalless draw. Because I don't think either of these teams are going to play aggressively. They will be very lucky if they are able to find a hole in the opponent's defense and score a goal. And I also agree that it is really hard to pick a favorite in this match.

The match was almost 60 minutes but the goal there was still for St.Etienne's advantage through a quick goal from Zaydou Youssouf in the 15th minute. but looking at the current stats it looks like Auxerre didn't want to give this an easy win for St. Etienne. They now have more possession of the ball and control of midfield but unfortunately their supply has been hampered by the St. Etienne is still quite strong

That result wasn't a surprise tho. Since the beginning, odds were quite close in many things. I was waiting to see a club winning with 1 goal difference maybe but a 1-1 result will make the second leg more interesting tho.
