PSG's performance seems to be declining. even with so much money spent on their star players. As a result, they also lost to Madrid. after that the local league won against the most basic team in the table but lost 3-0 to Monaco.
already too sure to get a trophy, so assuming the results of the remaining matches today will not change the standings. PSG's consistency with so many star players is certainly questionable. If the reason is fatigue, I don't think PSG is a team that lacks good players.

However, PSG's current position at the top of Ligue 1 will not be shaken because the league only has 9 match left for them. PSG appearances have dropped in their last 5 matches where they have lost 3 times in 5 matches. This team is not as good as expected even when Messi is playing.

PSG is indeed very solid at the top of the Ligue 1 standings. With a difference of 12 points with the closest competitor, of course they have a big enough chance to win the championship title. The failure in the Champions League was indeed a blow for the PSG team because they were full of star players but were eliminated in the UCL.  Now Mauricio Pochettino's focus is on winning and winning for the rest of the Ligue 1 round. I feel that one reason for their sudden decline is the uncertainty whether Poch is staying or going, and unless that’s resolved I expect them to suffer few more shock defeats till the end of the season. Lastly PSG needs to trim their squad and only then will they start playing well, because currently their squad is too big and that’s clearly holding them back.

looks like it would be a good choice for PSG. when some of their players who still have very few opportunities to play must be cut off from the squad.
PSG's management is too crazy to spend big money on many star players. they should focus on selecting the best squads and backup squads. those who don't get much of a chance would be better off being let in on the transfers for next season.

Neymar is no longer young (for a long time  ), no doubt he will play for many years to come and will not fall below a certain level. But it seems that his peak sports career is behind him. Brazilian players are notorious for their instability and poor discipline, which is exactly what a player needs to be able to improve (or at least not play worse) after 30 years. If the news about his behavior is true then he will not be a good buy for any club.

Neymar's career as one of the best players actually dimmed when he left Barcelona for PSG. Ligue 1 wasn't one of the leagues I was interested in before, but since Messi has been there it's taken me some time to watch it.

To be honest I still hope that Neymar can return to Barcelona for a few more seasons because maybe Xavi can help him be more disciplined. But as far as I know, Barcelona probably won't talk about Neymar any more than just Messi. But if that happens, then I think Neymar will be better than staying in Paris in terms of performance.

I doubt Neymar and even more I doubt Barcelona's financial ability - just today I read the news that Barcelona players refuse to renew their contracts with the club because Barcelona cannot offer adequate conditions. That "fairy tale" that Xavi shows is just a small episode that globally does not change anything - Barcelona is no longer a top club and has huge financial problems. Players like Neymar will not go there.

PSG is a great team right now when you look at their roster but they do not have that kind of experience, when you have a team that goes to nearly quarter finals every single year for the past 20 years, that brings in some experience, and yes PSG has been decent recently but they are basically a team that was put together at the start of the season as well with few of key players.

PSG could not have been in the top 4 if they had been in the Premier League and would not have qualified for the Champions League. They may have a lot of money. The squad has a lot of star players. But still their match strategy and style of play is very weak. PSG's management should hire experienced coaches before spending money on star players. If the coach is not experienced enough, no matter how much money they spend, they will not get the desired result.

Because PSG are obsessed with winning the Champions League trophy, so every new coach who handles PSG is definitely required to win

With so many star players at PSG, of course, the club owners expectations are getting bigger, but their hopes are now in vain after spending quite a lot of money but PSG failing in the champions league, PSG biggest weakness because they have many star players but they don't having a coach who is capable of uniting these players on the field, Pochettino lack of experience in coaching big teams and his lack of experience in European competitions makes PSG no different than a mediocre team when facing other teams in the champions league, I think now is the time for PSG to get rid of Pochettino and recruiting a coach who is truly capable of making PSG a feared club in Europe.

I don't think Pochettino is the only reason why PSG failed in the Champions League but everyone there should be held accountable for that failure. Fans cannot blame a particular individual like Lionel Messi because in reality Messi has contributed a lot to PSG in the Champions League with some of his goals and assists. It is impossible for Messi or any PSG player to win a game alone, and their treatment of Messi has drawn criticism from various quarters.

Mbappe said some PSG players did not play with all their heart and also did not give maximum effort to contribute to the team. They only care about money and high salaries while they don't have a proper contribution to the team.

Maybe you are right but here I want to add something more like they need to change manager and some fortune as well because it's also not going with them in many years even they change few managers for this elite trophy. Current manager Pochettino is not bad at all and having some quality players is an extra bonus for them, but sadly still they fail to have this.

If Zidane is coming then surely some fortune is also coming with him because he is legendary player and coach with some good success rate after arrival of this new manager they need to settle players as well because now most chances Mbappé is also going, and surely they will have some more changes specially in defense they need to do some better work for next season.

I would rather call the squad of City or Liverpool (and Real Madrid next season) extraordinary. PSG are strong on paper, but in fact Neymar played average (injuries can be taken into account here), Messi is old and also plays average, Donnarumma also plays poorly - he has failures. Next season, the situation will get worse - Mbappe will leave, Messi will age even more, what will happen to Neymar is unknown, but it is unlikely that he will change for the better. PSG was disappointed even when they did not expect the disappointment. When the fixtures were made between Madrid and psg, I predicted that Madrid will qualify due to bunch of experience in the club(individual and team champions league experience). Then after the first leg, I was still tipping Madrid to qualify, but during the second leg as psg scored, I lost hope for Madrid, not knowing that Benzema has wonders to perform.

I totally agree with you. The main reason for PSG's poor performance is their coaches. PSG's squad had a lot of experienced players from Forward, Midfield and Defense 3 places. But the coach's match strategy was very weak. Also, no friendship was formed between the players. Even coaches should have applied and experimented with different match techniques. But he did not take any steps to change his weak match strategy. If Zidane takes over as PSG's coach, PSG will definitely become stronger.
