There are 2 very interesting matches for us to wait for in match week 8 in Ligue 1, those are the Marseille Vs Rennes and Lyon Vs PSG matches. Since the start of the league until now, PSG still dominates the Ligue 1 standings and no one can replace them.

Maybe this time we can hope to Lyon that they can make PSG lose their first 3 points in the league. I personally plan to choose Lyon in this match, I think at least they will draw against PSG. What do you think?

In my estimation, Lyon will lose against PSG. although Lyon are playing at home but it's hard to stop SPG at this time.

It still sounds quite reasonable for Lyon to beat PSG in my opinion, this is not unreasonable, because in their last meeting at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon managed to draw against PSG with a score of Lyon 1 - 1 PSG. Nothing is impossible here. BTW, I've placed a bet for goals over 3.5, I'm pretty sure that there will be a lot of goals in this match.

Lyon's performance in their last 2 matches has not gone well and in this case if the form is still like this I think it will be difficult for them.
Lyon is one of the big clubs and an easy win is definitely not going to come for PSG but in this case PSG's chances are much bigger coupled with their getting stronger attack line and their trio are currently playing very well.

Still it is really difficult to be sure of anything about the Lyon - PSG game. Lyon have been losing for two weeks indeed but this is a special game for them anyway. I don't expect them to show the same level of performance against PSG also. PSG had a difficulty in defeating them away last season. They can experience the same thing again. Lyon will rely on their forwards to maintain their productive performances. Lacazette, Tete and Toko Ekambi all have scored 4 goals in the league. We will see how much effective they will be against PSG's wonderful trio.

I can't trust any side to win this game first of all. Maybe I might bet on a draw with some money. But my main bet for this game will be both teams to score. I don't doubt PSG to score and Lyon should also be able to do it as they haven't been having issues with that recently. PSG are going to be the biggest team they've faced maybe but they can still score one goal in this one also.

Messi is a key pillar of PSG's performance. He also plays the role of midfielder when needed. Messi has always been the main scorer in Barcelona. But he lost his position at PSG. However, he has managed to adapt himself to the new position quite well. Neymar and Mbappe are not playing badly. Their performance is quite commendable. But some of Mbappe's selfish behavior is quite visible. He ignored Neymar in almost every match. He doesn't want to pass Neymar. If he could establish a friendly relationship with Neymar, it would be beneficial for Neymar, Mbappe and PSG.

Honestly I feel pretty confident about the both teams to score choices. This match might be the time Marseille lose points after winning five matches in a row. Rennes are coming back from their Europa League with a sad result but I don't expect this to affect their league performance badly. They destroyed Auxerre 5-0 last week as you know and this should be a big motivation for them to fight hard against Marseille as well. I don't think any of these sides will have a big difficulty in scoring one goal at least.

Lyon - PSG might seem like a comfortable match for PSG for some people but I don't think so. Lyon are capable enough to get a point from PSG despite their recent bad results in the league. They have a better attacking line now and they should be able to score one goal here. Maybe we can see a scenario like Lyon score first and PSG find the equalizer a little late. A 1-1 result at the end maybe just as it was the same score last season.

Nice couldn't start the season well. However Angers are in a worse condition than them. Nice have a superiority to them in their last a few head-to-heads as well. This is a nice chance for Nice to continue rising after beating Ajaccio last.

I see that you prefer to bet on the favorites, but betting on BTTS Yes with odds of 1.45 in the game Lyon - PSG is simply ridiculous. In my opinion, it is much more profitable to bet on BTTS No with odds of 2.64 in the same game. I made such a bet in the game Bayern - Barcelona (the chances were more than 3 lol) and won.

Messi is an ideal playmaker. He can change the scenario of the match at any time. More importantly, he can adapt to any position. I would say Messi is the reason PSG's performance is so stable this season. They are playing well in every match. However, they have some strategic weaknesses. Well 1.63 is a decent odd on PSG and i think its a really good despite how good PSG is. I expected at least 1.45 on PSG but i guess the bookies think it will be a lot hard for PSG to win. For me a lock is over 2.5 goals i can see this game with lots of goals from both teams

Marseille will face PSG in mid-October. This is PSG's home match. If Marseille manages to beat PSG in this match then I would say Marseille is a worthy contender for this season's title. If PSG wins against Marseille then we will see PSG dominate this season as in previous seasons. And PSG will win the title at the end of the season. Personally, I think Marseille will lose their consistency very quickly and start going down the points table.

It's just paper calculating because football is not like math where we can count it as the dominant champion. because the session just started, if happens like your count, the PSG domination will not be like expectation because we don't know next, maybe the player got injured or something happens in the middle session that makes the situation change.

I think there is one more scenario where not only PSG will beat Marseille, but they will keep on winning until that day, whereas Marseille will lose a few games. That could result with something like 5 or more point difference until the game and closer to 10 point gap after the game.

I am not saying that it will happen that way but people do not give enough credit to PSG these days because of the points Marseille has, look at the goal difference and you will realize why PSG is a much better team, and I mean like MUCH better team, even when the points are similar. PSG will not only beat Marseille, but they will guarantee their championship after that game if you ask me.

Currently the odds already increased to 1.64, if you choose over 2.5 goals odds are less than 1.37. The first option is better if only PSG win, but maybe I agree with furius7 Lyon have lost last 2 matches it's small possibility that they can win tomorrow, I personally haven't made my bet this time and still thinking harder, but over 2.5 goals are not bad either.

The things Lorient players are doing were not expected and yet its really amzing they barely survived relegation last season and they had a tough start in this one but they managed to turn things around with four consecutive wins and against tough opponents, it will be hard to keep going like this until the end of season but they should profit while they are in such a good streak and secure as much points as they can so the rest of the season will be relatively easy.
