Maybe they can do it, maybe not - it's one thing to play "sub-optimally" against weak opponents and still win, and another thing to play against strong opponents (some of which I have listed) when every little thing matters. PSG were under control of the match in both halves actually. Nice had only 4 shots in total and only one of them was on target. This proves how much PSG dominated the match however they couldn't reflect this onto the score very easily. They didn't start with Mbappe which might be one of the biggest reasons. At some point i was expecting a draw after the equalising goal by NICE because their defensee got so tight afterwards. I don't feel it was because they didn't want to consume their energy, that was a very important game for them too and i feel their performance was the way it was because some of their players were tired after playing for their countrries last week, and they also had a short time to prepare as a group for this match, but it didn't cost them, as a win is a win, and the most important thing is the three points which they got. People always expect psg to win 4-0, 5-0, etc, but they forget that in football no matter how strong you are, you can't win big all the time.

Previously my estimation in this match, PSG can win the match with a score of 3-1. however, when I saw the line-up of the two teams, my estimation changed.
SPG will not be easy to score many goals in this match. the article, Galtier changed strategy and made Hugo Ekitike the main starter to replace Mbappe's position.
Galtier uses a 3-4-2-1 formation, as a result PSG have trouble scoring goals.
As for Nice, they tend to play defensively and occasionally attack if they get the chance. meaning, with the 5-4-1 formation used by Nice in that match, making SPG have to struggle to get a chance.
and luckily, with Mbappe coming in in the second half, he was able to take the opportunity and make it a win for PSG.

Nice is proving to be a difficult opponent for PSG, however they are atop the Ligue 1 points table. The only league where they are good is the French league. In comparison to other big clubs, we still struggle. It is possible that they would not do as well in a competitive league. A Champions League title is evidence of this. Everyone is predicting that they won't make the UCL this season, but perhaps this time they will prove us wrong.

Leo Messi is a demi-god in the club with an incredible performance, there's absolutely no match for him as he took a brilliant stunning free kick that have the parisians the lead but the goal was level by the Laborde in the 4íth minutes. They will go far in the champions league this season, i do not doubt that, even for some years now they have been coming closer, they lost a final some seasons ago, so even if it is slow, they are making some form of progress, i think they will make it to the final of the champions league this season, i just have this feeling, i don't know if they will win it, but their players are showing signs of togetherness, and this connection may take them as far as the final. Actually PSG keep save their player energy by saving in the bench for Mbappe because preparing for next match on UEFA Champion League against with Benfica, although have significant chance pass to 16 round but PSG want to lock their settle become the first team success lead to knock out stage. Currently PSG are strong at number one in Ligue 1 and have not lost in nine games. Currently only Marseille have tailed PSG with 2 draws and have not lost. Two points difference. Messi's arrival is right to make PSG extraordinary, they have become stronger and certainly more vaforit for the Ligue 1 champions again.
Their three forwards loading PSG's front line are capable of making opponents troublesome. I think it's appropriate to say they're able to perform better in the UCL this season. It seems that Messi is getting comfortable and can bring out his best ability.

Mbappe's absence was felt until he entered the match and he was the game changer as he scored the goal to win. If Neymar was able to play better there wouldn't be even a need for Mbappe. By the way Messi's free-kick goal was really a usual one for us to see from him.    It was nice to see advertising boards turning to "GOAT" after Messi touched the ball. 



PSG have a more difficult job to do these days because they are in a competition for the lead with Marseille on one hand. They need to concentrate on the Ligue 1 and Champions League at an equal level to maintain a decent form. I believe that they will still manage to do this successfully.

In the match between PSG and nice I also had High Hopes on Psg but I cannot say that they disappointed me. They were able to win and they also played over 2.5 goals so there is no disappointmen. We don't expect PSG to win with very high go margin every match. Remember last season nice got a very tough fight so they are no longer a small club. The most important thing is for there to be a win and nothing else
