It was a pretty interesting match between Marseille and PSG. Marseille were just inadequate in offense I'm afraid. I was really believing in them to steal at least one point from PSG in this and I even placed a bet on their double chance. But we couldn't see the same effort they made in the French Cup. PSG were really strong this time. Back then Mbappe was injured of course and his absence was felt a lot. In this match this time Neymar was absent but Mbappe - Messi duo did an incredible job anyway.

The assists from one of them to the other were really worth watching I can say. I want to see the same cooperation against Bayern Munich as well. Otherwise their time in the Champions League might be over.

PSG is too good to win the league this year because they have a sufficient number of excellent players who have been giving excellent performances. Despite the fact that injuries have affected their lack of consistency, I think they have already amassed enough points to hold their position until the end of the league.

I'm not really sure what PSG is doing wrong in terms of Champions League football; they frequently let people down when they have high expectations of them, but this time, even though I know it won't be simple, they just might surprise us by defeating Bayern Munich in the second leg of their round of 16 matches.

Marseille actually had a lot of chances in this match against PSG. They even got a really good chance early in the match. But they were unable to convert any of those chances. It was like they were in on goal and had only the goalkeeper to beat a lot of times. But they still managed to miss those easy chances. Mbappe got 2. Messi got 1. This match was really great for Lionel Messi. Goal+Assist, you cannot keep the GOAT silent. And also the 700th career goal of Lionel Messi was in this match. Overall a great match for PSG. But not a good match at all for Marseille.

Even though Lorient is far from their best form which we witnessed earlier in the season, they were expected to win Auxere in their yesterday encounter but the reverse became the case. despite this loss they are still a team ranked inside the top seven with a legitimate shot at getting into the top five.

Some times the club in their very best could also lose match and that only one match will not determine their ranking. Just like everyone expected Barcelona to win Almeria when their rival being Real Madrid had a disappointing draw with the Atletico Madrid over the weekend.

I wish Marseille hadn't lost and the league would have been more exciting. As it is, the points difference has widened and mentally PSG is one step ahead. Actually, I would have liked him to be the champion when Marseille and other teams were so close, but it looks like PSG will be the champion again. PSG have a tough fixture. I wonder if they can manage this fixture well with the champions league.

It goes exactly the same as last year, or as the 2019/20 season. Paris has won the championship 8x in the last 10 years and in the other two years they finished on second place. The game now was won by Messi and Mbappe, those two and Neymar are unstoppable. But Bayern Munich did it recently and beat them 1-0, I don't think there are 3 teams that can do that. But on 08.02. Marseille won 2:1 against Paris in the French Cup, that was 20 days ago.

Monaco played really badly in the last match against Nice. I thought Monaco was going to win and play in the second position at the table. At least as long as they can. But to my surprise, they actually ended up losing the match. Monaco has a very easy match coming up. I hope they will at least be able to win that match. Because that match is going to be played against a team that is in the relegation zone.

Monaco match yesterday was very bad, they was destroyed by Nice, I was also very surprised when I saw yesterday at halftime at home they are 3 scores behind. Monaco next match against Troyes and yes indeed it's an easy match for Monaco on paper, also troyes have a losing streak record, so there is a possibility for Monaco to win their head to head Monaco is better.

Currently, Nice is best team in Ligue 1 with their form and quality they beat top two teams in last four matches and both time their score was 3 goals which is surely amazing stuff even right now their chances for the Champions League spot is not good but their current form and beating top teams ability is amazing which clearly indicating they are doing their best for the European competitions for next season even things are not favorable with their early rounds performance was not enough to give them higher rank.

But, now in next round we have few interesting matches which can give them some hopes for the higher rank in league table as Rennes going to host Marseille and then Lens is going to host Lille which is also going to have good change in league table and can allow Nice for the improvement in their rank in coming rounds.

it was the most important match in French League because the first and second of the league were playing against each other and here Marseille could get closer to first place in the table and they could even prove they are better than PSG but PSG invested a lot on the team and they got many superstar players which can be a big difference of this team and Marseille that's why they easily won the game against Marseille.

I wish Marseille hadn't lost and the league would have been more exciting. As it is, the points difference has widened and mentally PSG is one step ahead. The French league was more exciting this season than last season. We have seen PSG losing some matches this season which shows that the French league is becoming competitive. I would have also loved Marseille to win the game which would have put more pressure on PSG but it didn't happen because PSG was more prepared for the game. They outclassed Marseille in every area and the cooperation between Messi and Mbappe was commendable. Marseille also had some clear cut chances to win the game but the lost those chances.
Bit the league is still open because there are still more matches to play.

I think Bayern Munich are working very hard in the Champions league which can be seen in the early energy and performance of their game . Bayern Munich has a better chance of winning the champions league this season,  PSG is having problems in their performance which may not help them win.

I don't see PSG in serious trouble this season and PSG's performance this season is still somewhat better than other teams in Ligue1. Likewise with his performance in the Champions League which is also not so bad even though the opponent is Bayern Munich who is in pretty good condition this season too. So speaking of working harder, I think both of them are working even harder before the Champions League last 16 second leg kicks off for them.

There were hopes about some challenge for the PSG from few teams but now after watching this performance most chances we are not going to have any problem for them in coming days because now they are again in better shape and can hold their gripe on title firmly because no other team is having consistency like them for staying at top level Marseille is having second defeat in last four matches which mean no difference is going to be eight points and Marseille is going to have next match against Rennes which is also having good squad and performance for better results things are completely in favor of PSG for the easy win in this year again.

Mbappé back in business with his mark Messi is also on good level and now Neymar is missing, but current squad is having enough firepower to destroy team's defense without any problem.

Although Marseille lost but Marseille had a big effort especially in the second half but unfortunately, PSG's defense also played very well. That way, Marseille not have the luck to be able to own or score goals and Marseille must be able to accept reality with a big defeat at home.

It's a little strange to see the struggle of the top 4 teams run aground against a team they should be able to beat and this seems to be an unlucky result for Monaco and for Nice they are getting more confident in every game and able to secure 3 additional points. As you said, Troyes is an opponent that Monaco should be able to beat easily, but I hope Monaco is even more vigilant so they can secure 3 points in the next game.

marseille and monaco both lost in the 25th round of ligue 1 this season. It shows they are not too strong to compete with psg in the title race. The defeat of these two teams made the points gap with PSG even further.

PSG easily beat Marseille with a score of 0-3. PSG is a strong candidate for the title this season. marseille and monaco they are often inconsistent in the matches they play maybe their target is to reach the top 4 until the end of the competition.

In the end the odds of 2.60 didn't disappoint in this match although I was a bit worried about being at PSG but it seems my worries were wrong.
They played quite well in this match and with this result they still show that PSG is still PSG.

Marseille were truly disappointing. They were so flat footed and allowed PSG to be comfortable on the ball. I know it's difficult coping  against Messi and Mbappe on their day but Marseille were just awful. They were not very great in the game before the PSG game, the match against Toulouse. They couldn't really keep the ball for a long period without losing it. If Toulouse was a little bit stronger they would have won or at least gotten a draw.
Marseille will play Rennes next in the league and it's going to another difficult match for Marseille. Rennes have been kind of inconsistent in the league but it's still going to be a tough match for Marseille and fr Rennes as well.

I don't think he would ever become a coach, but it is possible that he becomes the president or some other position where he can take on responsibility.

If messi said like that and does it mean barcelona will be signing him back again without even realizing the problem that has not solved yet by the club? Even messi's family was also aware about how small possibility for barcelona to sign him back again. The chance is pretty small caused by barcelona didn't have good financial anymore. It's unlike real madrid that was doing business carefully. I guess messi will not go to the barcelona.

Though PSG knows that and maybe they are going to offer him a contract that he can't deny. Like the one Mbappe has signed.

PSG already offered messi a new contract but messi just deny it again and again. Recently messi was giving some requirements to be completed by PSG before the club will able to extend messi's contract. The main problem is these requirements are very difficult to be filled by PSG.

Real Madrid hasn't been much better off than Barcelona when it comes to total debt. Yes Barcelona is the worst, but I think it was helpful for Real Madrid that they have been very successful in the Champions League. But when you see what players like Kroos and Modric earn it is hard to understand how Real Madrid will be able to solve their financial issues as well.

For now PSG won this important game and I think that was the last chance for Olympique Marseille to keep the Ligue 1 exciting. The next months will be interesting when Messi makes his decision and perhaps Real Madrid will try one more time to get Mbappe. What I wonder is though that Mbappe is playing on the same position as Vinicius Junior and Vinicius would not accept to play less.

Psg team totally destroyed marseille yesterday and secured the title in my opinion after monaco loss yesterday, despite the score being 3 0 marseille team had as many chances as psg team did but they were not surgical in the finish and not to mention the huge role donnaruma played in the win since he saved many dangerous goal chances, this win will give them a huge moral boost when facing bayern in the champions league.

odds for PSG to win against Nantes are at 1.32, which is pretty low to consider, but what seems best in that much with higher odds is both teams to score, which is at 1.91, I think Nantes can score in that match, they already scored against Juventus in the 1st leg of the Europa league so it won't be that surprising if they did against PSG.

Marseille failed to take this golden opportunity to shortned the point gap to keep the title race alive and closer , mbappe play brilliantly as usual to torture marseille , almost sure psg will take the trophy as usual every year ... there is no really competition in ligue 1.

But especially for Marseille they should have been more consistent in winning, because they last won Ligue 1 in the 2009/2010 season and it has been more than a decade since they have lifted the trophy again. Especially now that Marseille is in 2nd place in the standings and the point distance from PSG is not too far away, they should be able to take advantage of this moment to be able to shift PSG at the top of the standings. But again, if Marseille can't be consistent this season, then as you said Marseille will only be in the top 4.
