Now PSG are strengthening the top of the table again by making a five-point gap to Marseille because Lens had to drop one position after not being able to win at home against Nice.

Psg really outdone themselves this time around although the first half ended a nil nil draw prior to mbappe missing the penalty chance for psg to take the lead but they failed and was starting to get a little scared as they fvck up in their last with game against reims.  The french is not that competitive so seeing Paris Lead With some significant point is not a new case and I feel  they are going to be the league champions by the end of the season.

This is what they have to do in the match because it's not complete if PSG continues to play not too well for a competition that is actually easy for them.

Yes, PSG has domination throughout the game because better on the material players. Besides that, there is something funny after Mbappe can't create a penalty goal twice. You are right. PSG has a strong squad. And there are plenty of star players in the squad. But even then PSG's overall performance is not good due to poor tactics. Match strategy plays a very important role to win the Champions League title. Moreover, PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 has decreased. PSG is just three points clear of second-placed Lens in the table. If PSG loses a match, Lens may be able to take the top spot in the table. I am happy that PSG's dominance has diminished. Ligue 1 is getting competitive.

The french league will be much more interesting once there are some clubs that are able competing with PSG like this time. It seems the internal problem is the main reason why the performance of PSG has been declining a lot. Lens and marseille made me feel confidence rather than PSG to win the title for this season. They cannot sustain a winning season for their style of play, which is only meant to get midtable positions. I know it's just the french league but all the top teams use direct passing offence, Lens has target man. Even Haaland at Dortmund proves you can't win like this.

Sure , lately they had some great games here and there , scored some points , solidify their position on Ligue 1 but that's kinda all because they are 11 points away for European Spots and only a miracle could make them catch Conference League at least.

I'm also curious if PSG will lose some points from now on because Marseille are chasing hard it seems without losing points with not so important teams.

Unlike Messi, the two other stars are still eager to achieve greatly make more records, Trying to create a relationship between Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe will be so difficult especially now at this point where Mbappe is doing everything possible to be seen above the two other stars. Mbappe missed a penalty, there will be talk about this but good thing is that it looks like PSG are not going to loose the game else the talk about the penalty and rebound miss from him would have been more. Personally I don't think it's a big deal that he missed a penalty, even the best players in the world including Lionel Messi his teammate have missed penalties at one point in his career. if I remember correctly during the world cup Mbappe was able to score a very important penalty for France in the finals where we know the pressure and tension is high, so that at least validates his penalty taking abilities, that is he just had a bad game.

Missing Mbappe's penalty, 2 goals being disallowed for offside is hot topic if PSG loses or draw. But now it seems that the discussion will be bit neglected because PSG are back ahead 1-3. Of course penalties are difficult and stressful, and almost every kicker has missed. PSG won the match after previously draw against Reims, this was an expected win because they dropped a lot of points in their last few match. Meanwhile, Lens' defeat has made PSG 6 points or 5 points ahead of Marseille.

Paris SG will play better games with this point difference, it will not give the lead with its morale. Usually Lyon has always been a team that occupies the top 4 in the standings a few years ago, but now they have declined and it is difficult to compete at the top like they did a few years ago. Last season they finished in 8th place and now they are in 10th place in the standings. It is very difficult for them to push their way up to the top because any other team that is there is doing better than what Lyon is doing. But they still have the opportunity to do that even though the chance is very small.

Last time Lyon playing at champion league on 2019 season and at that time Rudi Garcia can bringing this team qualified to round of 16 before they were defeated by Barcelona and after that Lyon never been playing at this competition again even they always be finish at the middle of standings league and Lyon are having a hard time in the last 4 years because they were changing coaches 3 times and after Laurent Blanc taking over this team Lyon performance also not so different such as last season

Even since October Lyon under Blanc only can able to gets 4 wins from 10 matches and finish at european competition seems quite impossible for them because Rennes, Lille and Lorient had same target too and the performance of these teams is clearly better than Lyon
