Clermoont forced PSG to gets draw and i saw that how clermoont was consistently to defense from any attacks were coming from PSG. Clermoont was doing it so well.
This club needs to be appreciated at this moment. Im feeling so sorry for anyone who was picking PSG in the previous match. The draw was not a happy ending for all of them.

I'm not sure if anyone is that confident about a draw between Clermont vs PSG. Even if that happens, I believe the average person will choose PSG to win for that match. PSG basically scored a lot of goal opportunities throughout the match, but none of the goals managed to find their way into Clearmont's goal due to their good defensive performance.

All PSG fans are right to feel disappointed about the result of the match, but not all plans will go smoothly when the other team defends better. PSG neither conceded nor scored a goal in that match, but it seems strange that there was not a single goal from 10 shots on target. That means the PSG striker's job is really difficult and they looked frustrated throughout the match.

It's almost impossible for them to win the UCL this season, to get through from the group I think is still not certain because PSG's performance is really very bad and I think this team's game is not well organized or the players don't seem to be playing hard enough to win the match. .
Not being able to win against a team whose quality is much lower, even a team at the bottom of the standings, is an embarrassment for PSG.

Plus, Mbappe has been there but also not there for a while, when you miss your most important player that has result changing consequences as well. Even with all of that, they lost only a single game, so I think they are doing fine.

My guess if there would be more than 80% bettors were picking PSG and they feel so disppointed with the result. It's out of my mind to see how PSG was unable to winning against clermoont.
It's really unimaginable for me to see the result. I was seeing PSG was fully owning clermoont and it has made so many chances but that's really disappointed result from PSG for sure.

I don't even know what to describe regarding the performance from PSG but this is awful performance from PSG. It's terrible to watch one billion team was getting draw against the relegation team in league 1.
I can't even accept it. It's buried my bet. I was so mad when i watched it. My mind can't even accept how PSG was unable in scoring even a single goal.

Maybe yeah more than 80% of bettors bet on PSG, because on paper PSG should be able to win and they are the favorite team. If psg can't get full points against a team like clermont foot how can they get 3 points against top class team. PSG's performance continues to amaze me. PSG's position is fifth in the points table so far this season, my question is how will PSG get back from number 5 to number one where they are failing to collect 3 points in short matches.

We have seen the plans of the teams that are in the middle tier, against the big teams they plan to collect one point and against the weaker teams they plan to get full points, what is PSG's plan there? If PSG performs like this, they may be in danger of playing in the Champions League next season.

Honestly, I didn't watch this match, but if I refer to the match statistics. Apart from PSG controlling ball possession, they also had lots of opportunities. tactically, PSG played much better. The performance of the PSG players in this match did not play badly. in fact, they attempted 21 total shots. 10 of them, on target, 5 big chances. but for some reason, they were unable to take advantage of every opportunity they had in the match against Clermont.

On the other hand, Clermont is a team that is in shambles. In their 6 matches just before hosting PSG, they won not a single match. but they had one draw against Toulouse. In the match against PSG, Clermont tended to play a little deeper, aka defensive.  There's nothing wrong with that, it's only natural because the team they are playing against is a tough squad. game-wise, they only play pragmatically even with long balls.
one thing that was the difference in this match, so that the match ended with a draw. Clermont goalkeeper, Mory Diaw, saved his team. His performance was brilliant, making 10 saves. 7 saves in the penalty box.

Reims are a really challenging team to deal with these days. The manager Will Still has been doing a great work at this team so far. It looks like his Football Manager knowledge has been a big help for him.    Reims are only one point away from the leader. They have made more progress compared to last season.

On one hand Lyon are really in horrible shape as you also said. 2 draws and 5 losses in 7 matches... They parted ways with Laurent Blanc and have brought Fabio Grosso in his place. However it looks like he will also need time. But I hope that it isn't a long time he needs to make this team rise again.

I wouldn't really like to see Lyon being under the threat of relegation on the final weeks.

The loss is getting too much for Lyon. I can't just imagine a team that ended up in seventh place on the Ligue 1 table last season struggling to find a way to win currently. It is very bad to see Lyon performing poorly like this. Imagine that out of seven games played in the league so far, Lyon have lost five and only managed to draw two. I agree with you that if Lyon management doesn't find a quick solution for the team, they will relegate with this poor performance, and again, with this poor level of performance currently, it may make the team start to lose their fans gradually. Let's see what happens in their next match against Lorient. Maybe they will experience their first match because Lorient is also a strong team.

7 matches are done and they still can't win even once this season which makes Lyon have to stay at the bottom and behind points quite far from several other clubs.
Previously there was Lens who experienced the same thing but it seems that this time only Lyon is left who really slumped at the bottom of the standings for Ligue 1 this season.
They have to try better because if things like this continue to happen, of course this will be a very big problem for Lyon especially they are one of the clubs that are considered a big club in Ligue 1 but with their current performance it is clearly the opposite of what should happen.

Even I am consistently saying we have decrease in French League quality in last few years with lack of funds and quality players are hurting badly but in this game we have PSG vs Clermont which is currently at the bottom and having nothing positive in last few games they were able to stop Mbappé and PSG all attack to score any goal against them which is surely more than shocking for the all soccer fans because no one was expecting result like these we have few shocking results in different leagues as well but goalless draw is surely big slap on PSG and their multi-billion squads against team like Clermont.

There were few hopes we will have some improvement even right now it's just early days in season but still things are not going as they needed to be done Luis Enrique is big name, but he needs time to settle many problems which are coming from last few years hopefully things will be improved now they are heading to England for the another challenge against Newcastle United which is also not easy and any result less than win is surely going to hurt their confidence and cause for having positive end of this season.

I don't think the person who made the statement of them being short on finance was following the transfer market this summer because he or she would had known that they spent alot to rebuild their squad this season after the departure of Messi,Neymar, Verratti and several others that left, and even got money from the sale of some of their players, moreover they're the league winners and therefore would get casj from the trophy they won.

 Over the years PSG has been the Ligue one club with the highest spending on players in the transfer Windows and now they've got rich owners the finance wouldn't be a problem for them, i think what the board would be disturb anout is whether Enrique would be successful this season or produce a very strong team that would be successful in the Champions league this season.

In the Lille - Le Havre match, Lille played with superior intensity and won the match by making two goals. They were able to easily get three points from their close opponent, in the away game. Today's three points must have given the team a lot of morale as they have tougher matches ahead of them. Now they can prepare for the other matches more easily.

Marseille closed the period easily with a goal before the end of the first half, and then when the second half started, they scored goals. I don't actually know what exactly is wrong with the Lyon team, because when you look at the team, they have average players that are good enough to have won at least four matches this season, but they keep losing; they have lost five games and drawn just two so far this season, which is a very poor performance for them compared to last season.

Last season, Lyon ended seventh in the League One table with 62 points overall after 38 matches, but this season, they have already lost five in their first seven matches of the season. I think their coach needs to be replaced since he is yet to know the exact problem of the team as they keep losing every game.

Nice tried very hard to keep the draw and their unbeaten record this season, proving that they have one of the best defensive lines in League One this season; additionally, Brestois were above them in the league table, and they beat them in their last match they played last season, but apart from that win, Nice was winning them, so I am not surprised by the draw result.

There's no way Paris Saint Germaine's poor result against Clermont can be associated with the club's limited finances because Paris Saint Germaine were very active in the summer transfer window after their former star players like Lionel Messi, Neymar Jnr and Marco and Verrati left the club. The club made sure they signed quality players that'll replace them and help them win matches week in week out but have been unfortunate to see same players not struggling to score a goal against a team like Clermont.

Paris Saint-Germain is an elite club that have exceptional brilliant players who are capable of bringing good results to Parc des Princes stadium this season. The only problem they lacks is these players are yet to blend in, rather we keep watched for the inconsistent games featured by these Parisians and losing becomes the orders of the day. We should blamed Luis Enrique for the poor performance and horrible results recorded by PSG this season, furthermore the coach is not also relenting, keep constant work on his team for an improvement in games.

Clermont is only a bottom club that only collected one point before the match took place and PSG should have been able to beat them easily, but in fact they had great difficulty breaking through the Clermont goal. Even though PSG was statistically superior in this match, losing full points would be very detrimental for them because currently PSG has dropped to fifth in the standings.

This condition will be quite dangerous for PSG, especially since they will face Newcastle in the Champions League. Facing The Magpies away from home is not an easy match and PSG will have quite a hard time keeping up with their fast game.
