Nice winning Rennes regardless of the red card they got was actually a good one they still got away with three points and were able to continually maintain  their top position on the table with 25 points, though Rennes were ahead with possession, they Lost.

By statistics it was clear Rennes did performed well but couldn't win the home team because I think they were better and it could have been really embarrassing they lost at home to an average team while at the top of the table, Nice is ahead of PSG with a point of which of PSG wins their next game they will most be ahead of Nice but if Nice wins their next match again, they race continues. This is actually bringing the fun back because we now have what to keep in anticipation as it's no longer business as usual.

Nice has got less goal attemps but this club is able making some chances converted into the goals. Look at how rennes was scoring the first goal before it was getting a red card. I aws happy caused by rennes was also getting a red card probably 10 minutes after nice's red card.
From my perspective, it appears that things are reverting back to the way they were, with the winner of the game playing a significant role in this transition. Rennes loses the game against nice which is very good result for nice.

I was expecting more but getting 2-0 is good enough since i was taking 1x2 bet for nice. Nice is still continuing its good performance at this moment. I hope this is going to be last till the end of season.
PSG will be in a difficult situation caused by the won of nice is a pressure for PSG. It's so nice to see how nice is consistently defending when it has gotten a red card.

Monaco performed quite well in yesterday match to get 3 additional points closer to PSG and this is what I like about league 1 when PSG wants to get the league 1 title to defend it requires hard work that must continue to be done because Monaco will continue to put pressure on PSG so competition becomes more competitive to be able to maintain the top of the standings. and for Brest it could have made the match a draw but several shots towards Monaco goal were not on target and there was only 1 shot that almost went into Monaco goal but all of that failed and I just thought that if Brest could not compete to win at least they should choosing a defensive formation getting a draw for 1 point is much better but after all it all depends on the coach and well, it does not matter the most important thing is that my bet won because I chose Monaco, cheers

and for Nice I admit that this team has a fairly stable performance but what I think is how ridiculous Rennes was when Ndayishimiye got a red card and left the match Rennes should have been able to turn things around for a draw but apparently they could not turn things around, the score was even worse Warmed Omari also got red card and for me this is ridiculous for Rennes but the most important thing is that Nice can win.

Great to see that there is a very strong competition in the French Ligue 1 on who will go home with the league title at the end of the season. The league was before regarded by many as a "one club" league but with what we've seen so far from other serious contenders , I think it's absolutely safe to say that Paris Saint Germaine will have to stand on their feet if they must win than to relax with the belief that they're gonna win the league title at the end regardless of whichever way the chose to perform.

Hopefully, this can last until the end of the season, when the competition for Ligue 1 champions will take place between the three teams PSG Nice and Monaco because there are still so many matches that have to be played so anything is still possible, where these teams fail to maintain their consistency so it will only be leaving PSG or Nice firmly at the top of the standings, even who will be champion can already be seen when there are still a few matches remaining, so this again reduces interest in the results of the remaining matches, and unfortunately things like this often happen, player injuries and other things making it difficult for teams to still be able to win, especially when they are still playing in other competitions.
Usually, with a very tight point difference, big matches are highly anticipated, such as at the end of November PSG will face Monaco, beating Monaco will give PSG a big advantage.

I think the so said decline of PSG is not set in stone yet. They are playing erratically so far, but I believe if they can stabilize their game over the coming weeks, we might be talking differently about them very soon. They do have potential and in my opinion that is out of of the question, but can they play their best game over several weeks and months? That great win against AC Milan, that win away which wasn't easy against Stade Brest and then the crystal clear performance against Montpellier, I think this is the PSG team that should be paid some respect to. I want to see how they can do in the next few games and maybe we should still not underestimate them in the Champions League either yet.

PSG's performance seems consistent to me now. Although they were inconsistent in the early part of the season, they are now performing consistently in both the Champions League and Ligue 1. PSG are unbeaten in their last five Ligue 1 matches and have picked up full points in four. Looking at their performance in the last 5 matches, we should not have any doubts about their consistency. Luis Enrique may have got the trick on how to get the best performance out of this team and he is applying that trick which is why the PSG team is getting one success after another. PSG are consistent now and if they play according to plan, they will be very consistent in the upcoming matches as well.

The difference now finally is that they are dominating the games and not win with just one goal difference. That is what everyone expected when they see their attacking line with these superstars although I think that Dembele will only be a talent throughout his whole career. He isn't a superstar in my opinion, but he has always been treated and transferred like one.

Mbappe, no need to discuss about him, but it is still the same as it has been for a while at PSG. If the attacking line delivers a top performance, every other team in Europe will have problems winning against PSG, but only one game is enough when they don't score 3 or more goals and then the defense is still overwhelmed more often than not.

Monaco on the other hand despite being there,they have made some errors which if they didn't they would be at over 30 points right now leading comfortably.Paris is back and we know when they start doing seriously they are the strongest contender,let's see how it ends.

why aren't you happy to see Nice performing well at the moment and continuing to create consecutive wins isn't it good because league 1 is not only dominated by PSG's victory, indeed last season Nice didn't really appear consistently apart from league 1, didn't you also see that PSG also only appeared good in league 1 and can only win the title in league 1, PSG has not yet tasted the title in the champions league even though if you look at it PSG always passes the group stage but PSG cannot win the title there.

But believe me the strong performances by PSG are important for many reasons and one of them is that Khelaifi knows if PSG falls apart because of bad results and the fans also insult Mbappe and blame him for the downfall, the chances that Mbappe will stay for any longer than he has to will drop significantly. A strong PSG team that is highly competitive and perhaps also takes on some challenges in the Champions League successfully also raises the chances for Khealifi to convince Mbappe once again to extend his contract with them.

2 things that will not be able to happen here Because talking about performance now, it is certain that it will be very difficult for PSG, especially when talking about the Champions League because they are always faced with clubs that are difficult for them to pass so that the knock out phase for 2 seasons has never changed which makes this a consideration that should be more for Mbappe. and the second is the fans of PSG itself. Considering the quality of players at Paris Saint Germaine, I don't think the team will automatically begin to lose matches when Kylian Mbappe is out injured. In every team, there's always a star player which the manager builds the team around but that doesn't mean that whenever the player is absent the whole team becomes incapacitated to win games.
Kylian Mbappe is a big player that any manager in the world will definitely want to build his team around and and I don't see anything wrong with that. Paris Saint Germaine looks like a team who's back to their best and it's actually a goodnews to the club fans.

I think that's the more reason why PSG is tried so hard and even came up with different strategies to keep him in the club this summer and I believe they might still consider persuading him cause they know his capabilities and that it would've been very tough for them this season without Mbappé,  he's been the saviour of the club this season cause he's currently their the player in the team with the highest goal and it's helped taken them to the top with just a point behind Nice who are currently their strongest competitor this season.

Such efficiency in defense is impressive, but the attack is very weak if we are talking about a team that aspires to something. But they have three games ahead of them against teams from the middle/bottom of the standings, so they will be able to maintain their minimal advantage over PSG for some time.

The difference points between the top 5 clubs in this points table only a very close difference so there is still a very long way to go but what being discussed this time the top 3 such as PSG, Nice and Monaco who are currently in a competitive situation to get first place and I think PSG could take over first place again to dominate League 1 but this all requires other clubs to beat Nice and Monaco but unfortunately the other clubs League 1 are unable to beat the two challenger clubs. For the Nice match last night, my estimate is that this match will end in a draw or for example with a score of 1-1. However, in fact, Nice was able to maintain its consistency even though this victory was marred by red card drama. My initial suspicion was that Nice even had the potential to lose. but what I predicted completely missed. So far, Nice has gone without defeat and in the last 4 matches they have played with wins. The results are quite colorful in the race for the top of the Ligue 1 standings, even temporarily. Nice is 1 point ahead of PSG, 2 points ahead of Monaco.
BTW, Nice's second goal which came from a free kick was quite cool, even though the shot hit the goal post, it bounced and hit the back hand of the Rennes goalkeeper. As a result, Nice won the match against Rennes and returned to the top of the standings. So, let's just wait to see how Farioli's squad maintains its consistency.

Talking about Monaco, after being defeated by Lille in the previous week's match. Manaco was able to bounce back and beat Brest with a score of 2-0. and the goals scored by Manaco players were quite good, even though Brest actually put up quite a fight. In fact, they scored a goal early in the match even though it was disallowed in the end. but however the final result was won by Monaco. As for Folarin Balogon, he has not been able to show his capacity. in this match, he played Underperform. In the end, the competition in the top 3 of the standings was quite exciting and interesting.
Next week, Monaco will face a team that is easy to beat. but in the following week, Manaco played a tough match against PSG at the Parc des France, Paris Saint-Germain's headquarters. and this match should be an exciting and interesting match. for PSG, as I said, slowly Luis Enrique's squad will become top of the standings.

Brest was unable to catch up with the goal and they even had to lose one player in the final minute due to receiving a second yellow card after fouling a Monaco player. At the moment, Nice is currently flying high in the French Ligue 1 and I don't think how long they'll continue to do well in the league or how far they can go in the league should be a problem for anyone. Being able to remain as the only team in the league that's still unbeaten after the first 11 games is a significant improvement from what we saw from them last season and I think they deserve to be celebrated for their achievement so far.
Paris Saint Germaine I know will definitely take over the the top spot and win the league but as long as Nice still maintain to remain there, I think they should get all the praises they deserve.

The win of Monaco and Nice now is making the French Ligue 1 very interesting and competitive and honestly I did not Nice to win tonight,they have not been that consistent usually in their campaigns,sure they have always been a good team of Ligue 1 just not quite enough to fight for the title in a consistent way.Now they have 25 points with near half of the league games near completed as just some 7-8 games have remained until we end the half of the season.

Monaco on the other hand despite being there,they have made some errors which if they didn't they would be at over 30 points right now leading comfortably.Paris is back and we know when they start doing seriously they are the strongest contender,let's see how it ends.

I haven’t seen how Nice plays, but from the outside, their results look like prolonged luck that could be interrupted at any moment. In 11 games, they scored 13 goals and missed 4. Such efficiency in defense is impressive, but the attack is very weak if we are talking about a team that aspires to something. But they have three games ahead of them against teams from the middle/bottom of the standings, so they will be able to maintain their minimal advantage over PSG for some time.

As long as nice can still score to win the game is more than enough. Nice doesn't need to have strong attackers. The club needs only to make sure its opponents would not able to concede the goals against nice. Winning a with narrow score like 1-0 is not a problem as it doesn't matter how many scores being made. Win is a win. It will never change the lose. Nice played with its own style and its' feeling so confidence with it. No doubt that if nice is now is still at the top positions at this moment.
