This match is quite difficult to predict because both teams are equally strong but I try to bet on the Monaco match because they have performed impressively this season, if you look at their history in the UCL both were able to beat 2 La Liga giants Monaco beat Barcelona in the first UCL match and Lille also just beat Real Madrid so in this match it looks like they will compete very fiercely to get 3 full points Monaco plays at home which is a big advantage for him.

There has been some visible drop in PSG's form recently. Don't you think? They started to lose quite many points. I really didn't like them against Arsenal in the Champions League as well. They may literally have rest of the month with full wins, and November will be first hard one, so I guess a month of wins is possible for them but not sure if they are going to do it of course. We may see them do fine, we may see them not do so fine, in football you never know. I am guessing they are going to end up doing risky stuff for the time being, and we need to make sure we are betting accordingly and not risking too much on PSG because they are very inconsistent.

In the first half, Monaco tried to take over the game even though they were only able to make 7 shots and 3 on target, in my opinion, it was quite an interesting show. On the other hand, Lille had not given any pressure at all, only one chance they created during the 45 minutes of the match, it seemed that their focus was on defense and they played quite roughly, there were already 3 yellow cards given by the referee, the score was still 0-0 until the end of the first half.
I think a change in tactics must be made by A.hutter in the second half, there must be a player prepared as a supersub,
because these 3 points are very important in order to maintain the top position for a while.

The reason others are discussing Monaco v Lille is because it's the opening Ligue 1 match of the week and interestingly, Monaco at the top of the table and then Lille beating Real Madrid in the Champions League, make for an interesting match in this match. But even so, I have also previously discussed the match between PSG v Strasbourg because of course, PSG will not go unnoticed because at least, when PSG plays then it will always be an interesting match to predict and discuss. Therefore, basically no one is really ignoring PSG and even though others are discussing Monaco v Lille, it also doesn't matter because it is an interesting match as well.

But unfortunately, about the recently concluded match between Monaco v Lille, that Monaco failed to win because they only played with 10 players. Because at least, Monaco also managed to dominate this match but unfortunately, the final result was a 0-0 draw. With this draw, then of course PSG will return to the top of the standings if they beat Strasbourg later. But yes, the point is PSG can still ensure victory, because PSG will always succeed in returning to the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

The reason why many football faithfuls were more interested in the Monaco vs Lille game is because it's widely believed that it's a more difficult game than the Paris Saint Germaine game against Strasbourg and that's because the latter is easier to predict than the former. Monaco have been the best performing team in the the French league this season but Lille isn't a club that can be easily beaten as well.

I agree, Lille doesn't look as good as Monaco right now and I believe we are not going to see Lille have a chance against Monaco. But this is one of those games where the gap is small between two teams, so anything could happen in a league situation, we could see them have a different approach to this and we should definitely consider this as something that will be very hard to guess or predict.

I am betting on Monaco of course, because that is what this looks like and we are going to probably see Monaco win, but if Monaco fails to win the league this season, it would be because of losing these type of games and the possibility is there, which is why I am guessing they may have a chance to lose this game as well.

Unfortunately, both teams were unable to score in this match. There are two scenarios that I predicted, Under or Lille. However, the final result was no goals scored. Based on overall statistics, Manaco is still superior even though one of their players was given a red card in the second half. Likewise with opportunities, both in the first and second half, Manaco was much better even though they played with 10 players. As a team, almost all of Manaco's players played well even though one of their wingers did not contribute much. Maybe if Jordan Teze was not given a red card, Manaco could have appeared more dominant and had the potential to score goals. In Lille's camp, their players did not perform so well. Especially, the front line players. Several of their defenders performed solidly, also the goalkeeper who made 4 saves. Lille had the advantage in players but unfortunately, they were unable to use it to win for them. Unfortunately, Lille should have been able to use it to get full points. However, the home team's defense line did appear solid. As a result, the match ended with a score of 0-0. My guess was right with the Under option, but the choice of Lille to win the match missed the prediction. Well, Manaco must be ready for his position to be taken over by PSG.

I did expected a goal from Monaco but they couldn't get one in this game, they rather got red card which is a bad record to start with after the international break, literally, they may have a messy psychology for a while as they are not going to be able to cope just so well already with this kind of situation but their consolation will be in the fact that they were able to secure a point by the end of the game though they had to share point with their opponent, they had better domination in the game statistically and even more chances.

Enrique got good results with PSG so far and they are in the good form and they got good results even after Mbappe left this team. Even without Mbappe, I think now PSG got more chances for the French League and Champions League titles with Enrique in this team because they have better teamwork.

This should be one of the few times Monaco failed to score at home, something I consider very disappointing because I thought it would be a safe bet placing Monaco win or draw and over1.5 goals. This was my first prediction but after realizing that Monaco will be busy with their champions league match against FK Crvena Zvezda of Serbia, I knew that a surprise was bound to happen hence I avoided the match. I am happen I took that decision, else they would have messed up my decent win tonight. It is obvious that Monaco consider the champions league match more important than the league match.

The match was quite intense from the start of the match and in the first half they had already collected 4 yellow cards and 3 from Lille, the meeting between the two teams is always difficult to ascertain because both teams know each other well and are quite solid when competing, seen what was done in the first half before Monaco lost one player in the second half they pressed the opponent but no one entered, and so too when Lille dominated in the second half it was difficult to say that Monaco played well enough so that there were no gaps for the opponent to exploit even though they were not at their best, a great defense in my opinion.
