It's going to be the most important game of the weekend in the french Ligue1, Marseille are placed second with 30 points and Lille are currently occupying the fourth position with 27 points and both teams would be very careful not to be beaten so as to maintain their position on the table. Marseille stand a very good chance of winning this one since they would be playing at home, and perhaps they have a very good record at home this season and might end up stunning the visiting team, but for Lille, i think the best they can do is to opt for a draw against the home side, I think a draw would be a great result for them.

If lille wins, they get to meet Marseille by having equal points but if Marseille does, they actually get more points to continue the journey at the league title this season three points difference is one which I see as too narrow because in a situation as this all it take is Marseille loosing and they no longer at that higher above lille who I know could be somewhat aggressive when situations demands as this and they aren't to be undermined or taken for granted less they get Marseille on their toes before they realize it already. Lille has got a very strong mentality such that I don't see them opting for a draw, they will rather fight for a win and settle for a draw if they don't get successful at a win.

Most chances we will be having Toulouse in first half of the league table as they are playing but still they needed to work on their attack which is not good as they needed St Etienne is going to be relegated again as they are going badly down and out of way with this current level of performance.

The advantage they got at the beginning of the match could not be maintained after LOSC was able to create a reply goal in the last 3 minutes of normal time, it destroyed their hopes of being able to present victory to their supporters. However, in my opinion this draw is a fair result for both teams if you look at the game statistics that they can show. Because in terms of the game they look like they are playing a draw and LOSC can play with a target which in the end is a good result for them. Bringing 1 point from the opponent's home is a result that can be said to be positive, although victory would certainly be better.

I cannot say it is as difficult as the previous years when I saw their direct rivals missing two points. Marseille should have won against Lille, they will regret receiving a late goal. For Monaco, the draw against Reims wasn't good either and no goal scored in that game..
Ligue 1 continues to impress us with its randomness and how the teams don't want to get the title then everyone start to blame PSG for killing the competition. There is no real competition when the top tier teams missed 15 points in 15 games vs 8 points missed by PSG in 14 matches..

Two teams in the championship race failed to beat each other. Marseille drew 1-1 with Lille at home. Marseille managed to take the lead in the first half but unfortunately conceded a goal in the last minutes of the match.
Two teams battling for the top six failed to meet. Auxerre hosted Lens at home. Lens led 2-1 at half time but conceded a goal in the second half to leave the away side with 1 point. It was a pity for Lens that they couldn't win despite their dominant play throughout the match.
Monaco drew with Reims. They had a chance to close the gap in the championship race but failed to capitalize on it.
