Sometimes things don't go well. We can talk about such things for Paris Saint-Germain. Although they have a great squad, I remember one time they were paired with Manchester City and Manchester City was in a very good period and City eliminated them. This year, Paris Saint-Germain is only fighting for the Playoffs. Things are going their way in the French League, but what is important is that they have been disappointing in the Champions League this year.

That's true because people are worrying to much about Paris Saint-Germain while on the other hand they are not worried, I'm not bordered about anything concerning them on the champions League because they no that is not for them but they will always contest every season, the change about them is not that much compare to the time of Mbappe because their home league is already theirs now just like when Mbappe was present but the change is just on the champions League because they never experienced 25 position before but this time they have and Celtic is even more candidate then they are, however premier league clubs and Spanish team are the most impressive on the champions League competition and the wining might come from either side.

Winning the UCL trophy is the only dream that has not been achieved so far, PSG still struggles to compete in European competitions even though they have managed to dominate Ligue 1. This weakness has not been solved until now, even though they had a luxurious squad, they still have not been able to achieve the targets that the club owner has always wanted. Luis Enrique was expected to make a difference, but the reality is that PSG are still struggling to find their identity in the UCL, even this season they are in danger of not qualifying for the last 16.

That's right, it's very painful if PSG fails to reach the last 16 this season, a luxurious squad cannot guarantee success, even though Luis Enrique has enough experience in the Champions League. People will think that PSG will have a hard time competing in the Champions League without Mbappe, and PSG passive transfer steps, by not looking for a replacement for Mbappe, will certainly be the target of criticism later. Nasser Al-Khelaifi dream of seeing PSG win the Champions League trophy has not come true, their investment in a number of star players has only been able to produce results at the domestic level. Monaco has been struggling in recent games and they have lost 4 of their last 7 games and won just 2 which shows that they have not been performing too well in recent games and when compared with PSG it’s quite a say to predict PSG as the winner of the game.

PSG have shown some dominance this season and no doubt they will surely win trophies this season as they already have a final at hand and also 10 points clear in the League making it 2 trophies at hand for them even though it’s not certain yet but they are the favorites to win all these trophies.

Honestly, looking at the league, PSG is still capable of beating all of these teams, and that is not really a shocker to anyone, we all know that PSG is a better team than Brest, or Monaco or Lille, these teams can't even hold a candle to PSG's light, there is no comparison. But why did PSG do badly at UCL? That is a whole another question and to be fair I am not entirely sure of the answer neither, I have no idea why that happened, which is why it's very bad and I would guess it has something to do within the team.

Because, if they are better than these teams at the league, but doing worse than them at UCL, there must be some difference. Sure they mostly played against different teams but not like PSG faced some insanely stronger teams, they lost to some smaller clubs too and I have no idea why that happened at all, feels like it just doesn't reach to that conclusion to me, doesn't feel like it would make that much sense at the moment and we will eventually see how it will go on.

French soccer in overall is on decline for years with not positive move is coming and also expectations are also not good for having anything better even its already talked many times, but few things are also not under control of management as they are not able to bring good investment which increase other clubs quality which is essential for having better results and quality competition.

PSG are playing better than ever now, no idea if they are playing because of the new players or the same players who used to draw and lose the match and are now winning the match with hard work and good performance And in their good record, they have not lost a single match in the last 5 matches played. PSG have played bad matches which is why they are in such a distant position, if they still work hard they can improve and do a good position this season. PSG has the last chance to win all their next matches fast enough and by more goals to increase their position day by day or else the victory of this season will also slip from their hands.

Its majorly a French game, mostly French teams are the ones that gets to participate in this games, they only have PSG as one of the most solid team across almost all of the French tournaments where in they participate so them dominating this too shouldn't come with any form of surprise as they are still in their less competitive region. this is one of the reasons they usually don't talk much about this competition or even count it as one of their major wins for the season as their dominance on this is most times almost sealing that they don't really need all that efforts to get it.

Up to 16 matches, not a single Ligue 1 team was able to beat PSG. So far PSG have only failed to win full points in 4 matches which ended in a draw, in the rest they won all the points. This unbeaten record is basically very good for Luis Enrique to maintain, but the competition may get tougher which makes it difficult for PSG to maintain its consistency.

PSG are also favorites in the match against Saint-Étienne for matchday 17, but PSG must complete their mission first in the final against Monaco for the French Super Cup. PSG are favorites to win the title due to their good form, but Monaco should still not be underestimated even though PSG won their previous match against the same team.

However, it is possible that PSG will try a different approach, building an even squad depth and trying to become a more collective team, not meaning they don't need star players.

On the other hand, looking at the current facts, without Mbappe PSG clearly looks very difficult, and is even threatened with being eliminated early from the Champions League this season. The management and club officials may try to find a solution in the January transfer window, to secure their chances of reaching the last 16. Meanwhile, no one expected this season Brest, Lille and AS Monaco to shine more in the Champions League than PSG, although in Ligue 1 the three of them were unable to break PSG dominance.

Luis Enrique is already thinking about making changes.
I reading in the newspaper 'Equipe' that Gianluigi Donnarumma would like to stay in PSG and his priority is to renewal his contract, but seems that Enrique has not interested in him and has even introduced Donnarumma's replacement to the club.
Donnarumma will be sold next summer, This happens when he has one year left on his contract.
They plan to sign Marco Kranzki in summer, he played great in Serie A this season and has helped Atalanta to the top of the table.
I think this change might make PSG shine more in Europe.

Ronaldo had mentioned that he found the Saudi Professional League tougher than Ligue 1 (which I would agree). Obviously this was sort of humiliation for the French, who then resorted to personal attacks against Ronaldo. There is no doubt that the quality of Ligue 1 has declined over the years. And Ronaldo is right when he claims that Paris Saint-Germain is the only quality team left in the league.

I believe the coach or the players are not the real problem for PSG, they once had a good coach, Thomas Tuchel in 2018 and at that time PSG already had Neymar and Mbappe but still PSG were unable to win the UCL title but they were once Runner Up after that they were unable to reach the final again even when they added Messi nothing changed at all PSG still struggled in the UCL and they always changed coaches to achieve what they wanted, now PSG no longer has a star player so that Luis has difficulty balancing PSG's performance in the league and UCL.

In my opinion the PSG coach should be more ambitious, they spent money making some senseless signings in the last transfer window, they could have signed Victor Osimhen as a replacement for Mbappe, they could also have signed other famous players and then kept these players long term to create a team capable of winning the European Champions League. Why stay every season and win Ligue 1 but get to the European Champions League and don't win, then the fans and the team owners won't have much faith in the team, they will always be looking at PSG as being a strong team only in the French

I think Luis Enrique really wants to build a squad without star players and see how much ability he has to build the team but the fact is Luis Enrique can't make PSG appear strong in the Champions League without star players, although having star players doesn't necessarily make PSG win the UCL title but at least PSG's performance is not as bad as it is now, Luis Enrique must think again about recruiting players who have a strong mentality so that PSG can perform well in all competitions not just in the domestic league.

PSG have intent to use their young players more effectively, inspired by Barcelona's La Masia by developing their young teams in a similar way to the first team.
In previous years, PSG have neglected their youngsters, treating them more as assets.
But they seem to have leding to a basically change in the club's systems, moving from attracting the best players in the world to recruiting and nurturing them.
One of the points of LaMasia is that players who join the first team do not need time to adapt and as the first team system is similar to the one they trained in during their time at La Masia and the young teams.  LuisEnrique, who is familiar with Barcelona's working style, has been a key sponsor of this change at the PSG.
During Enrique's year and a half in Paris, young players such as Zayed Emery, Maiolo, Mbappe and others have earned first-team opportunities. The presence of Yohan Cabaye as director of the training center has also played an important role in gathering the best players in the region and, in help with Luis Enrique, has created a playmaking model that can be transferred to most young teams.
Considering these characteristics and the events that have occurred, I think that if PSG follow the same process with Enrique, it will make the club in a short time in terms of statistics, finances and winning various titles in the right place.

PSG being in 25th place is unexpected. The team needs to improve its game or they will be eliminated. The teams in the league not being able to challenge PSG causes PSG to be unable to resist against different teams in the Champions League.
