The season has just began they have always gotten one trophy into there award room, is a good thing because success is what brings the drive to win more trophies, however I will not forget to acknowledge As Monaco because they did what others couldn't and it was just a little thing that remain for them to win the trophy but Dembele saw his club through from the predicament and PSG became a bonafide winner of the Super Cup, however I did not recall how the Super Cup was played last season, was it also PSG that won it or it was another club?, meanwhile i believe after the French league there trophies will end for the season because the rest may be off there limit.

This was a very fierce and great match actually because both teams also played good football. PSG is indeed unquestionable with their dominance even in the league and they are also always strong, but in this match Monaco's game was also very impressive, it's just that they were unlucky.

Even both teams seemed ready for a penalty shootout because the match had been going on for 90 minutes and no goals had been scored. However, there was Ousmane Dembélé who finally became the hero for PSG, he scored a goal into an empty net from inside the penalty box after welcoming a low cross from Fabian Ruiz, this goal was created in the second minute of added time, namely 90+2.

Ligue 1 has 18 participants which makes all these teams only have 34 matches each. PSG have played 16 games, meaning they have 18 games left before the season ends. I would say I expected the PSG game to end in a draw or even lead to extra time because of how much pressure Monaco put on PSG. It will be very bad for Monaco to lose this game also allow PSG to win the league title. Monaco and Marseille still have a chance to snatch the league title from PSG, is not suppose to be repeating it self all the time that PSG will be the champion over them every season. In the second leg of the season I expect Monaco to get a win to reduce the point gap nothing like a draw and to also win their games at hand. I think this league cup is the only trophy PSG are going to win this season that's if those who are in the title race plays their part properly by winning too.

Without strong competition, PSG will always be the ruler without having to try very hard, which is also believed by many to be the reason why they often struggle when competing in the Champions League.

They are currently seven points ahead of Marseille, who are in second place, and ten points ahead of Monaco, who are in third place. That's why I don't think Paris Saint-Germain will easily give up the championship in this league. They have a huge advantage, and they also have a much better squad quality than the French league. In other words, they have a squad above the average French league squad. There is a big problem in the Champions League because they fell well short of expectations. PSG has always performed impressively in various domestic competitions, now they have several players who have shown very good playing quality and can get used to the mentality that previously always depended on Mbappe, in the future there is still lot of competition and Enrique must be careful in preparing his squad, small mistakes can be disaster for them.

Marseille keep developing themselves and going ahead with full strength. They won four matches out of last five matches including yesterday's match against Le Havre where Marseille defeated their opponent with 5-1 goals which was another achievement and let them standing second rank in the qualifying table with having 33 points. Although PSG still leading at the top with 40 points. In the match between Marseille and Le Havre,, Marseille did great, build good strategy from beginning against their opponent. And that's why they able to score three goals at a row just before the end of first half what helped them to inspire the team go ahead with full strength and that's why afterwards they gave another two goals just after the start of second half which totally destroyed their opponent Le Havre's hope to win, although A. Ayew afford to scored a single goal at 85th minutes behalf of Le Havre but Marseille didn't care about that cause they already let their opponent know, who are they. As long as financials seems this different, no team will have a chance to beat PSG to be fair. The gap between how rich PSG is, and how other teams look, is pretty obvious when you look at how much they are spending each season. It not even just about how much they can spend on transfers, that's great and all but it's also about the fact that PSG can pay much more in salary as well, so that's an important part, and I am pretty sure that is going to be a tough thing for all of the other teams.

When you calculate all these financial differences, you will end up seeing how PSG will easily beat everyone at France, and the only problem they have is that they are incapable of winning the UCL, which has been a tough task for them.

In my opinion Monaco has a strong enough defense to withstand many attacks made by PSG players just look at how many shots were created 28 shots and 10 of them were on target but were able to convert into goals after 90 minutes of the match and that happened when the referee gave additional time for both teams and PSG was able to take advantage of it well after 2 minutes of additional time and in the end PSG won the French Super Cup even though they had to try very hard but they really deserved it considering that PSG is indeed the strongest club in League 1.

Champions League is still problem for them, but next season could be much better as they will have good depth and their players will be gain experience which is important for Champions League while having quality striker surely bring good development, but their strategy is having deep facts for their success in the future.

Well, although actually this is not a new thing, and even PSG has won this trophy for the 13th time. And 3 times in a row in the last 3 years, after previously, there was Lille who [had broken PSG's dominance in this Super Cup, but then, it returned to PSG.

however, Enrique admitted that it was a tough and tight final. They had many opportunities and were quite dominant, but all failed. Until finally, Dembele's late winning goal was the only goal scored.

The rivalry we saw in the last match would have made the France league even more popular if they could do it in local league tournaments. We have great potential in few French clubs which can do much better than current quality, but sadly we have no good development in them which giving them setbacks even though in this season due to new format we have good success for few clubs in Champions League but sadly their performance in Ligue 1 is still not good as no club able to create problems for PSG with chances are also high we will again have fight for remaining spots instead of winning title.

Marseille showing some good signs, but they are also 7 points behind and Monaco is one of the clubs which always done good but suddenly have problems and let them down near the end of season currently few clubs are doing impressive job but still things could be clear near the end of this season.

Financial differences has made a very significant difference in the performance and also the capacity of other teams in competing with PSG so far, but to be honest this season we can see if there are some teams that actually have the same squad quality as PSG such as Marseille and Monaco, but it turns out that they still have not been able to break or even rival PSG dominance in ligue 1,  so I think actually finance is not the main problem that makes it difficult for other teams to compete with PSG, but we can't deny that mentality may be one of the factors that allows PSG to dominate the league so far and that's despite their poor performance in the UCL.

Marseille have won 4 and drawn 1 in their last 5 league matches. Their form is very good and they are playing good football. The team tries to play more pressing as they win and they are successful in doing so. Rennes lost 3-2 to Nice in their last league match. They had actually won 2 matches up until that match and could have had a good run but they lost.

Marseille seems to be the side closer to winning this match but there are many matches in football where expectations are not met. I think this match will be a high scoring match but I still think it is better to make a decision after watching the first 10 minutes of the match.
