This is the best season so far, for Lens and they couldn't utilize their opportunities to win the trophy when it came. However, they lack the ability to be consistent till the end of the season which was why they couldn't hold on to the first position. I knew, it was going to end this way.

This isn't the first time we have seen another team put a little pressure on Paris Saint-Germain, previously we also saw Lille, but unlike Lens, Lille was able to perform consistently + the fact that Paris Saint-Germain's performance wasn't so good that season. PSG and Lens aside, I think Monaco deserve some attention as they have been unstoppable lately in Ligue 1.
They are on 6 wins and 9 games without a loss streak (league only). The incredible part is that in their last 5 games they faced Lens, PSG and Lyon, so teams ranked higher than them and they defeated them all.
Monaco took a bit of a gamble when they appointed young and inexperienced Sebastien Pocognoli, who's currently only 38 years old and his only managerial experience was leading Belgian Union Saint-Gilloise from July 2024 to October 2025, when he moved to Monaco. So he only had 1 year of managerial experience when got appointed.
Whatever Pocognoli does to the team, it seems to be working great.

Monaco's next game will be against Marseille at home on Sat 4th April. I haven't checked the odds, but I'm sure they will be a favourite. I think they have a real chance to fight for the 3rd place.

PSG is a very strong team and they are continuously in the process of achieving the milestone. And this is weird if anyone tries to make the scenario that they still needs to show them as the best team. PSG has capabilities as they have the strength to prove their situation anywhere. Well I don’t really have much to say, but all I can say is that, the French League is a disgrace, because I don’t really understand why a team as big as PSG would be looking for a rest, which is why the French League is regarded as a farmers League, postponing a game, when the opposition teams is actually against that terrible act is something that is unimaginable, I just wondering if this same team was also postponing games last season when they won the Champions League, because right now other teams are well aware of there undeserved rest when other opposition are playing League game, French League is a jeopardy.

People treated that 11th place finish like it was an end to something. It wasn't. It never was.

When you get down that low in the table you start questioning things. I questioned things. But then I actually got to watch the Chelsea games and something clicked. The second leg especially. Chelsea were the better team for like 60 mins? More shots, more of the ball, more of everything. And PSG somehow won 3-0. A whole different game of football where the score and the actual game is nothing like it.
