Let's not underestimate the arsenal in the next season the club may have not played well in the last season but could make a bounce back, signing new players and making the relevant changes in the club.

No doubt Arsenal has a good team though with many inexperience youngsters as their players, however they did well last season, however their inconsistency in many of their matches cost them top 4 spot and their inability to win crucial matches also worked against them.

In this case you are right, Arteta should still combine senior players with experience that can be used as an example for young players who have just started a wider career at Arsenal. Veterans combined with young talented players is not really a super shocking idea. Look at Real that recently won UCL, they had players like Modric and Benzema and what not, but had Vini and Rodrygo so forth as well. That is why it mattered so much. Arteta could try to replicate that as well, but at this point it is not really about him providing something to the team, but more like what the team could provide for him.

I agree with you guys on this, arsenal can't keep holding onto the tradition of "grassroot development team", in all entirety. Senior experience players matters a lot in any team, for they would be the driving force to boost the momentum of the younger player when it seems like a game is not going well to their favour irrespective of the score line.

Using Real Madrid as an example in the just concluded UCL when they played against Chelsea in the second game, they Rose from 3goals behind to qualify themselves in the league for the next stage and only a team with such experienced player I'm likes of benzema, mordric etc, can make overturn such scoreline in a team.

Maybe as you said the main target is to get into the top 4 and qualify for the Champions League. But I think targeting the top 4 in the domestic league will be easy for Manchester United next season. the work that Erik ten tag has to do now may have to bring in the right partners for cristiano ronaldo. Well Manchester united had a manager that got back to back champions league participation for the club since Ferguson retired, but the media and everyone called it individual brilliance and gave it a short code 'show me your trophy for 2nd and 3rd position'.  The club deserves every rejection they get by players they try to sign; and the fans deserved the performances of the just ended season as well.

Yeah its as you said but in my opinion the team that need the most changes is man united if they want to be back on track and forget about this season they need some players gone in addition to mata and matic both lindelof and maguire need to go not to mention that they need one or two good midfielders  since pogba will be going, add to that that they lack a good striker so ronaldo can play at ease at the post where he is much better at.
