Arsenal still like to transfer young talents a lot. Fabio Vieira seems to be one of that kind of players. However, Arsenal shouldn't make do with this kind of transfer in the summer too. They obviously need some star players in the team now to fight harder in the Premier League. They had a wonderful season despite starting badly and finished at the 5th place.

To allure quality players your team needs to be in the Champions League, and if you aren't in the Champions League, then you should be able to offer quality players a very fat salary in order to concvince them to move to your team, Arsenal can't offer any of the above, they are not in the CL, and they do not have the sort of budget to offer fat paychecks to players.

Thus having said that, they have to be moderate, the coach is not doing any badly with what the board is providing for him in terms of funds, what ruined their season last time out was that they missed out on CL football for next season, even after being in the driving seat for so long; well they can look forward to next season, they are making good signings in my opinion, Gabriel Jesus looks set to be joining from City and he is not coming for cheap either. The thing is, a top four finish will be good for them, as i can't see them winning or even challenging for the EPL, then they can try to win a domestic League Cup, either the FA cup or Carabao cup.

What exactly are you even talking about, Arsenal finished in 5th position in the EPL last season, meaning they failed to quality for the champions League next season, they were not even in last season's competition and have been absent from the CL for quite awhile now, so what exactly do you mean by what you said? They were even thinking of sacking Mikel Arteta after that. But the same Arteta led the team to climb many positions in the standings. They would have even finished the season at the fourth place too but they missed it by a small gap. This is promising in my opinion and they should be able to improve this effort more next time. As long as they bring especially a good centre-forward they can do this.

Arsenal did close the season with 5th position in the standings and this is an achievement that is not special that the owners and arsenal fans expect this season. Failing to qualify for the Champions League was a pretty big blow for Arsenal as they didn't take advantage of the chances in their last matches. Arteta will probably put his mind on fixing every gap that was Arsenal's weak point last season. The arrival of the king of assists from Porto Fabio Vieira is expected to improve Arsenal's performance next season with the target of being able to close the season in 4th position if they fail to compete in the title race.

Apart from you, I also realized that last season was about Arsenal. Arsenal's performance improved after rumors of Arteta's sacking were widely reported due to the poor performance of a team that was very difficult to win games, but Arteta found a solution and it made Arsenal's performance improve and get out of trouble.

Arsenal managed to end the season in 5th position where they should have managed to snatch 4th place and qualify for the Champions League. But the tight competition between Tottenham makes them have to give up only to qualify for the Europa League next season. Firmino and Jota are decent players undoubtedly. However there is another fact about their situation to me. They haven't been quite enough strikers for a team like Liverpool. I'm aware that Liverpool are like Manchester City and they can get efficiency from the other players than their centre-forward more in terms of scoring goals. But I still believe that having a very reliable striker is always important for every team. For example, Manchester City signed Erling Haaland to feel more confident about that. As a result I appreciate Liverpool for doing the same thing by signing Nunez.
