We'll see tough competition in the EPL because each club has prepared the best squad ahead of the start of the competition, in the coming days we can see and compare which teams are most ready for the title and still waiting for surprises in the transfer window.

Yep, it is going to be a hell of a season and fun to watch. I wish Messi would have signed for an English club because there are so many strong teams and he would have drawn all eyes on the Premier League. It is not the same if he goes to Ligue 1. In the PL every game would be a highlight with him on the pitch. Grealish is a good player sure, but Messi together with De Bruyne, that would have been outstanding!

Yes it would be terrible to see the EPL if these players were in one competition the top score board will change in every game harry kane, Romelu Lukaku ( messi )
these players are familiar with the top score I can't imagine their rivalry, but unfortunately messi won't be in the EPL he will go to Ligue 1

If Chelsea want to do well next season, they need an experienced striker. Don't rely on Werner. He is not experienced. As we saw in the previous season, he missed many easy opportunities. If the EPL title is the goal now there is no option but to take on an experienced striker team. Although Werner did not play well last season, Sadio Mane's outstanding performance helped Chelsea win the Champions League. This year too they will make huge mistakes if they rely only on Mane.

Lukaku is a player of Chelsea, isn't it? The striker problem in Stamford Bridge is solved, at least in theory. With performance of Lukaku in Everton and Inter Milan, I think he will perform well in Stamford Bridge.

With Lukaku, Werner will be released from the striker position and it will help Timor has more contributions to the tactic of Chelsea. He is more dangerous when he does not play as a striker. He has almost everything to destroy opponent defense systems, just lack of good finishing skills and confidence to shot

I think that Lukaku will be the striker to be determined as a reliable after being brought in with a fairly high offer, while Werner will definitely be shifted a bit where he used to be but I hope this can be my striker who can help cross the ball and this is usually more in terms of Lukaku's header.

Lukaku is an extraordinary player. His agility is very high. His style of play is almost the same as Chelsea's. He will be able to adapt to Chelsea's team strategy very quickly and without problems. Chelsea will be more stable and strong if they get Lukaku in the team. Hopefully, Chelsea will fight hard for the EPL title next season.

Well everyone is excited about Lukaku back in Chelsea but I have doubts over his arrival. He sure had great season in Serie A but he wasn't that good in United. Yeah he scored but his stats in Serie A is far more better than PL. Maybe its the league level or maybe he has now developed? but nothing can't be said for sure.

Chelsea are taking a big risk Lukaku did not work out for them before and it is not certain that Lukaku is a better player now than he was then because the league is different. Italian league is not as competitive as the Premier League and the Premier League is more aggressive style of play which Lukaku will be used to but he will not be able to bully as many players as he did in the Italian league. I do not think he is one of the best players in the world like alot of people here are saying. I think he is a above average player who is built perfectly for a aggressive league but has been playing in a lower standard league and that is why he has looked better than he is.

If Chelsea do buy Lukaku what happens to werner? They paid Werner 50 million to come to Chelsea and I do not think many teams will be interested in signing him unless it is half that amount. I do not see Chelsea playing with two up the front because of Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.

WOW 115 millions euros? The rumors I saw were 90 million euros. 115 millions euros for Lukaku is a bigger risk than I thought. IMO he has not played like a 115 million euro player in the Italian league and while he does have experience in the English league before that has a couple of years ago and he would have got used to the Italians way of playing. He is 27/28 years old 115 million for a player that old that is still unproven in the Premier League at the elite level is a big risk IMO.

I think a couple of months because he is used to playing in the Italian league which is not as aggressive and the congestion of the Premier League might take awhile before he gets used to it. 1-2 matches would not be enough IMO.

I've just learned about Lukaku transfer by Chelsea. It is said that they signed him for £97.5m. Manchester City signed Jack Grealish for £100m so it seems really interesting to me.    I think that Lukaku is worth much more than Grealish. Grealish is younger of course but I don't know. I don't think that he is worth that much.

This transfer will be really useful for Chelsea. They have been searching for a top striker and it looks like they've found the one. Lukaku will contribute to the team incredibly well surely. He was great at Inter in the last season. I can't wait to watch him in the EPL again.

I think Lukaku will make Chelsea more threatening, having good players assisting him, then this tank will be unstoppable imo. Inter's scudetto was won partially thanks to him (among others) but he did quite good job there. I don't see why he will drop in performance with better squad.

also feel that way because when Lukaku played at Inter, it could be said that it was a Serie A competition and we can see that currently the EPL is very much different from Serie A, moreover Lukaku has also played at Manchester United, and we can also see what happened. happened with him Nia Lida performed so well as happened when he was in the uniform of inter Milan, moreover the English league is a tough competition, I really doubt if my injury can make a good contribution to Chelsea as he did at inter Milan

I'm pretty sure Chelsea looked at the player's performance before making the decision to buy Lukaku, the main indication is that Lukaku is one of the prolific players in Serie A
His performance also continued when competing with his country in the Euro cup, 4 goals scored there put his name on the top scorer list ranked 2 with Harry kane

Confidence and support from other players is important to see him consistently scoring goals. Football is a team game and Lukaku needs a lot of support from other players to make him dangerous in front of goal. Since Chelsea got it back from Inter, this will make the title race even more fierce in the EPL.

They only just managed a Champions League place last season.. but this season with Lukaku, I think they should be able to open a clear gap on the teams below them and make qualifying for the Champions League a formality once again. The teams below them aren't really strengthening, and if Spurs lose Kane then that's another challenger gone. It's difficult to see beyond the two Manchester teams, Liverpool and Chelsea for the top four. I can't see where other challengers would come from.

I do not think that Kane is leaving anywhere, the only big spender that was interested in him was Chelsea, and now that they are getting Lukaku I do not think that anyone would be willing to pay 100+ million for Kane now, at least not right now, maybe when his price drops with age.

Chelsea really wanted 3 strikers this off-season and 2 of them didn't happen because of money reasons, first it was Haaland and Chelsea offered as much as 150 million, which is insane to think about, but Dortmund wanted 174 million whereas Chelsea had 100+ 50 mil in installments type of thing in mind. Then it was Kane which they didn't really want to spend that much, he is great but a bit older, so that didn't work out neither. Now they are getting Lukaku. If Chelsea is off the market, then who would spend 100+ million on Kane? I do not think that anyone even has that money left.

Harry Kane is easily the best player in the Tottenham squad right now. He's their main talisman so its hard not to see why they are fighting very hard to keep him long enough for the transfer window to close. While Harry Kane is a prolific striker, lack of trophies at Tottenham is driving him off. He missed the first training but he later confirmed that he didn't do it on purpose. One thing is clear though, the man wants out so he can win trophies. This should be a lot easier in a top flight club like city.

There is always the possibility that Lukaku could play better or worse in a different league. There is no guarantee he will be able to have the same ability as at Inter as a goalscorer because the Premier League is much tighter than Serie A. So far I don't see Lukaku as one of the foreign players in the Premier League, he also played well at Manchester United before and I think he understands the Premier League well so he will adapt easily at Chelsea.

I agree Manchester City are most interested in Harry Kane, because Man City need a striker to replace Aguero. Therefore, until now Man City are still
trying to sign Kane, even though the summer transfer market is about to end. Because sometimes player transfers often happen in the last minute
the transfer window will close, that's what will happen to Kane.

Tottenham did seem to be trying to keep Kane by asking for a very large transfer fee, therefore Man City's closest plan was, who had just spent big
enough to bring in Jack Grealish. Man City according to rumors will soon sell Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva in order to get funds to buy Kane.
Moreover, Harry Kane has also urged Tottenham management to release him, even in order to secure a move, Kane chose not to come from
Tottenham's training session. With all these events I believe Kane's move will happen in the near future.

Friendly match is not an important match. Winning or losing this match does not matter. Still, I would say Leichester played well. Manchester City did not attack too much. They considered it a practice match. But hopefully they will do well against Tottenham and will definitely get 3 points in the first match.

Yes,,, that is what I said basically:) Leicester were still good though and adding in Ineaheacho (sorry for spelling) showed everyone especially Pep what a recognized striker can really do to change the game. Pep himself admitted he knows this problem since last season but he won the title without recognized strike 80% of the time so I guess he knows that to do.

This trophy thing has even been some of the reasons some players landed in clubs where not just there impact wasn't felt but then, they still went trophy less in the seasons that preceeded it. You can imagine Eden Hazard living Chelsea for that same purpose @trophy to Real Madrid where he had hoped to win himself the UCL but instead of the UCL going to the Spanish Laliga, Chelsea brought it to the EPL and made England go blue again. Harry Kane is a good player for sure, a striker of value but then, he could still be the Brian's behind the working of Spurs to a trophy. His got Son and others to help, you can imagine Jamie Vardy winning himself the community shield trophy over Manchester City with Leicester City last week. He should take his team to where he wants it to be, n team is so promising I football anymore.

tbf, the managers didn't utilize his full potential. Mou's gameplan was all over the place and Ole was coaching a top team for the first time. IMO Lukaku fits perfectly in Tuchel's tactics which focus a lot on counter attacks, a similar style to Belgium NT and Conte's Inter Milan (sometimes, tho)

Maybe everyone knows that after he did quite well in Italy with Inter. But will he be able to maintain his position again as the best striker in the Premier League? Some may doubt him, but it is true that he has emerged as a world class striker in recent season. I feel that Lukaku is Chelsea's best signing of the year, he deserve to be there and that has invited more competition among the other striker in the Premier League for top scorer next season.
