Manchester United have high chances of winning the Premier League this season, they have a strong squad, and the player seems very cooperative. ..

You can not conclude the title after one match or the first match of a season....

Saying "high chance" is not the same as making a conclusion that they will win the title. Yes you can't say that from the first match but you can tell who will be the potential front-runners.

It looks like Chelsea keeps on gaining from last season. I like their chances of lifting the trophy as well.

I see that we have a huge game between Arsenal and Chelsea this Sunday.

Arsenal have started the league not very good. They were defeated by Brentford 2-0. Brentford had a much better performance than Arsenal. They made use of their goal chances really well. Arsenal had big difficulties in this game as Aubameyang and Lacazette were injured. They got 22 shots but they weren't able to make any of them goal. If one of these strikers was able to play, maybe the score could be different than this.

When it comes to Chelsea, they played a home game against Crystal Palace. It was a very comfortable game for them and they won 3-0. I must admit that I really liked Chalobah's goal from out of the goal box.    It was sad that Werner wasn't able to score even one goal in this one but I hope that he gets better every week.

For this game, I think that Chelsea are the closest side to win. However, I looked into the head-to-head games and saw that Arsenal defeated them in their last EPL game here (3-1). It can be a really interesting game due to this reason.

I don't think we can discount Man City... particularly if they get Kane, which is still a possibility.
But yes, Man U and especially Chelsea do look good. Lukaku is exactly what Chelsea need.

It will surely be these three plus Liverpool that take up the Champions League places. The only question really is what order they'll finish in.

Manchester City is strong enough without Kane. Don't judge them by the performance of just one match. In the Harry Kane team, they will actually be more stronger. However, Chelsea and Manchester United are the title contenders this season. Both teams seemed very stable. They do well enough. If Manchester City can't improve their performance quickly, they will gradually move away from the title.

maybe it's true it's too early to criticize City's performance because this is only the opening match for them and this season's journey is still far.
but if you look at their previous two matches before the Premier League started it seems they still haven't found their performance starting from the defeat to Chelsea after that lost to Leicester and now Tottenham. indeed there is still a long way to go but if this continues it will be very detrimental to the team and must immediately conduct an overall evaluation.

The Manchester City v Tottenham match was really great. In the first half, City's positions were more. Tottenham were looking for a position with more counter attack. The dominant and superior team was Manchester City. I can't believe how this match ended with 1 goal.  Son's left foot is really strong. We saw that when he scored. He scored the winning goal for his team.  He is one of the very successful players on the forward line.

Son shot his left foot perfectly and scored, and indeed it was a very tough match because Manchester City continued to pound after being trailed by Spurs but indeed this made Mancity frustrated because they could not reply or equalize.
The Spurs back line was stronger and didn't get caught up when Mancity tried to attack him.
Not a bad opening but indeed Spurs are quite a tough opponent for Manchester city.

I would call the loss of the final to Leicester a failure. I think Guardiola will focus on the Champions League this year and it's time for the team to win this tournament.

If Harry Kane goes to Manchester City, Guardiola will target the Champions League title. If Kane doesn't come, winning the Champions League will be a bit difficult. Yet when Guardiola coaches, nothing is impossible. However, it will not be possible to win the title in the Premier League if you do not play well from the beginning. Chelsea and Manchester United are very strong teams this season.

Everyone knows that arsenal or any other mediocre team in the Premier league only put out world class performance when they go up against teams in the top tier. That said, I know they would want to give Chelsea a run for their money and get a win or a draw at the very minimum. That's how it has always been. Play shitty football until you meet a team in the top 4 then put in your best performance.

Or we can just see Chelsea unleash all they have at arsenal. They've a team strong enough to hamper Arsenal 4-6 goals.

Guardiola must evaluate players for what happened in their last 2 matches like there is a weakness in the defense

They need a proper defense line. Without it they are vulnerable and we saw how easy it was for Brentford to punish defense for their mistakes. They need a someone with leadership qualities back there also if they need to be in the race. They can get some good quality players if they try to get players who has potential. There are lot of players who are in not a good team but have good potential and are looking to move into a good league.

As an arsenal fan, I hope that arsenal will be able to make their fans happy by winning their first win in the second week of the match , although there is a small chance of winning,  but still this can happen if arsenal players especially the front lines can take advantage of every opportunity that exists, so far the derby london is a game full of emotion and pride (besides the Tottenham derby) so we can be sure that it will be quite an exciting match.

More team work is required the arsenal has a good game coordination but their defense happen to be their loophole. If it can be fixed in time before the season goes farther it would save the chances of having more losses. This was the primary reason the lost two goals to Brentford

People keep thinking that rosters do not matter and what you do with that roster matters the most, that has been the case ever since Liverpool became champions and such a great team with a roster people didn't see so great. You may like Henderson, salah, sane, firmino, fabinho and so forth roster back in the day when you look at it today, but none of those players were seen as stars at the time, then Klopp came in and now they are such a big name club. Ever since those days people do not look at the rosters exactly, but want to see what that roster will do.

Honestly I feel like roster speaks volumes and City is still looking like the biggest contender, I would give them that right, BUT if they actually end up getting Kane? That is just game over honestly, there is no way that they could actually end up not winning with Kane on that roster, it is just too much of a fail to happen.

I don't see another striker suitable for Man City maybe they stay with the current squad, actually the current squad is not bad most of the players are the ones who won the EPL league last season but somehow their game is bad.

Flashscore.com listed Kane's description as personal reason rather than lacking match fitness so it was probably because they were still in negotiation during the match and didnt want to risk kane being injured

Well I was sort of expecting Kane to move though. He clearly wants to move from Tottenham and City is willing to pay alot for him, yet Tottenham shatter his ambition to win the league title huh. Either way this is probably going to be his last season in Tottenham or atleast until the next transfer window but City might offer less to sign him

I agree. The most important thing is how well the team is managed. You can have the best squad in the world. But if you have a wrong game plan for the team, then it gets much harder for you to win even one title. We've witnessed many examples of it in history.

And you can have an average squad but still you can win a title with a really decent management. We have a Leicester example. They didn't have the best squad when they became the champions with Ranieri.

It's not really about the roster per say. It's one thing to add players to roster, it's another thing for them to be able to deliver top level performance. Otherwise, it just doesn't make sense. I've seen and heard of several cases like this. For instance, in the NBA, Brooklyn have players in their roster that we call the "Big 3" but even with these guys in their roster, they were unable to win the NBA title.

Even if Man city added Kane in addition to Grealish in their roster, other top teams have an equal chance to win the PL title this season.

Well there is a chance that Harry Kane wasn't fit to play. That could be due to the fact that, he returned to training 4days late than supposed which explains his frame of mind to play for the club. He can't be at his best with his mind not sure on either his to stay at Tottenham or he would joining Manchester City. Pep really needs to seal that deal anyway and Nuno needs to come to terms with Kane if he's mind is made up.
It would be a blow on Manchester City not to sign Harry Kane but, the squard in City ain't that bad except that, Pep Guardiola needs to be mindful on his decision of resting players. The league has started and every win counts.

Except Norwich, all of the new teams in this season have started with a win. Norwich were defeated by Liverpool 0-3. But Brentford defeated Arsenal 2-0 and Watford defeated Aston Villa 3-2. I don't know how good season Brentford will have this year. But I believe that Watford will have a really nice season. They have really qualified players in their squad. And they had a really good season in the Championship. I think that they will keep up the good work. When it comes to Norwich, I think they will have a better season than both of the other two teams. They have promoted to this league as the champions.
