In the first match, Manchester United team seemed very stable. They will also have an easy win against Southampton in the next match. Manchester United had a huge 9-0 win against Southampton last season. Manchester United can attack a lot and they can score a lot of goals. My guess is they will win the next match 4-1 against Southampton.

Manchester United certainly looks like the favorite in this match, but I would not be sure of an easy victory. In recent years Manchester starts every season well and even belongs to the group of favorites, but then a lot of disappointments come during the season, I would not be surprised if this season follows the same pattern.

To me, Manchester United seems to be the most favorite team this season. Manchester City would have been the favorites if they had signed Harry Kane. Yet they are a fairly stable team. But I want to put Manchester United and Chelsea ahead of Manchester City. Both are very stable and strong teams. Chelsea have become stronger after signing Lukaku to the team.

I still don't agree on Ben White, even if you include the English tax.

Speaking of taxes ... what is the rate for foreign citizens in England? Just judging by the news, Messi will give 40% to the French treasury annually, which seems excessive to me, so I wonder how much foreign Premier League players actually get. And does anyone have data or clippings from the English fair-play rules regarding the issuance of English citizenship to footballers? ^{[I mean, this is the first thing that comes to my mind if one of the clubs wants to save a couple of pounds on the payroll].}

At the beginning of the season Manchester United were still very lucky because they won't be playing against tough opponents until week 8

Yeah its a pretty decent fixtures for early season and after that it will be hell for Manchester United

Round 8 - Leicester, away game
Round 9 - Liverpool, home game
Round 10 - Tottenham, away game
Round 11 - Manchester City, home game
Round 13 - Chelsea, away game


Thats literally hell right there but If Manchester United can get atleast 4/5 win on this fixtures then it is a pretty good result. I excluded Arsenal on round 14th because Im pretty sure that its going to be 3 points against them

Southampton last match against Manchester United never went well. They were brutally beaten with a 9-0 score. And they will be playing a home match against Manchester United  again in their next match, which I don't think they will win. Manchester United seems well prepared for the season, which they proved in their first match against Leeds. Manchester United will win the match with 2 or more goals.

You expect a team that hasn't gotten the link between themselves on the pitch to break this Chelsea team with one of the best defense presently, with Kante back, Hakim Ziyech,as well the arrival of Lukaku will cause more harm Arsenal defense.
The Gunner's are without Lacazzette, Aubameyang,Nketiah as well Thomas Partey all out for this game.
Although this is a London derby,we know how it gets hard for both teams when they meet themselves here.
It probably gonna be a win or draw for Chelsea.

I do not think that Chelsea would had a problem with Arsenal defenses even without Lukaku. People are making this game out to be a lot bigger than what it should be, it is not really that much of a big game anymore. We have to come to realization that Arsenal is not a big club like they used to be, they are a big club but they are not that big.

I mean look at the results they got in the previous seasons and you will realize that they are just a regular mid table team these days to be fair. Whereas Chelsea did became UCL champions last year, finalist of FA cup, and fourth in the league as well, so you could always feel like you are going to win against mid table teams when you are that good. I believe that this game will be easy, of course underdogs could always beat the favorites but that doesn't mean that we should be expecting that to happen or the game to be any good.

After two recent signings Arsenal spent the most money in Premier League. They paid 30 million pound each for Martin Ødegaard from Real Madrid and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United. Where do you think they will finish the league after these transfers? I guess they are favorite for fifth place.

Norwich are really an unlucky team, you know.    They played against Liverpool on the first week and lost to them 0-3. Now, they are going to play against Manchester City. And it's an away match I'm afraid. They will most probably get another huge defeat. They were the last champions in the Championship but they have not much luck left also as it seems. 

It may be better for them. Playing hard games at first and they will be relieved, it's better than playing in last matches against the strongest teams. As they are playing for the championship they put their %100 effort into the pitch. If Norwich gets nothing from these matches nobody is mad at them, that would be the most possible outcome.

I've just remembered the result of the match between these two teams in Old Trafford. Manchester Utd just finished them with a huge score like 9-0.    So they have a really big psychological predominance over Southampton. And this should be more than enough for Manchester Utd to win this easily. But they still shouldn't underestimate their opponent of course.

There are two days left for the second week of the season. The new week will start with the Liverpool - Burnley game. Liverpool started the season with a huge victory against Norwich in an away game. I was happy to see that Virgil van Dijk bounced back and started to play. Now, their opponent are Burnley and I'm expecting Liverpool to simply destroy them also.

I don't think Liverpool will have hard moments against Burnley considering the performance of each team and especially the first round results.
For Saturday's games I want to see if Brentford will continue its surprising start and if Leeds will recover from its huge defeat when facing Everton.

Crystal Palace are not a very hard opponent for Brentford actually. But they have been in the Premier League in the end. Chelsea managed to beat them quite easily though. But Brentford should be very careful. They shouldn't overcome by languor after a huge 2-0 win against Arsenal. And Leeds have another tough game against Everton this time. But they may get a win this time.

Liverpool should have no big issues against Burnley and I'm liking how Firmino is starting in the new season as in the first round of the leageu, gives a good indication to all the Liverpool fans that the presence of Diego Jota and his brilliance reflected positively on Firmino, and from his first participation as a substitute, he scored the first goal.
But he began to decrease his level gradually, but this season started a different and strong start. The Burnley match. It is possible that he took the opportunity from the first as a main as a reward for his goal in the Norwich match. We hope that he will return Roberto Dynamite Fermino, who was the most important false9 striker in Europe and the English Premier League.

Agreed. It is not very sensible to place a bet on this low odds. Liverpool are definitely the favourite but it isn't worth to place a bet on them. And I remember the game you mentioned between these two teams. But this time, I think there are a totally different Liverpool. They seem more eager to win considering their first game of the season. So I expect them to finish Burnley.
