He did say "almost," assuming Arsenal is counted among the "strong clubs."  Quite a disappointing opening match for the Gunners.  Arteta didn't start his strongest crew up front, no Aubameyang or Lacazette.  Regardless, the defenders didn't give me a lot of confidence.  Hopefully that's not a preview of our season.

It's great to have the season finally under way.  The strong opener for ManU was fun to see, and LFC looks like they're off to a good start so far.

Manchester United and Chelsea have proved their mettle very well. Manchester won 5-1 and Chelsea 3-0. Their dominance in both matches has been realized. Now I look forward to seeing the performances of the Liverpool and Manchester sites. I believe they will win, but I want to see how much influence they can have on the opponent.

Seems like both teams will start this season with a victory. Before the half time, Liverpool has taken the lead against Norwich City by one goal. Norwich City playing a good game too but they aren't making much attack. And Manchester City is the favourite team against Tottenham. The odds is in favour of  Man City and I'm hoping that they will win too.

It's not surprising to see Aston Villa struggling after selling Jack Grealish to Manchester City. He was their most critical player and had a big role on their successes. Today, they couldn't resist Watford. Watford made the score 3-0. Aston Villa managed to decrease the goal difference to 1 but they couldn't prevent themselves from losing 3-2. It must be good for Watford to start with a victory in the EPL.

Without Grealish this season Aston villa will fight hard to not get relegated. They lost to the newcomer in the leauge and that is not a good sign at all. They should try and sign a few players from the money they made selling Grealish or it wont look good for them at all in the next matches

All home teams won today, only Brighton & Hove Albion won at away game. Liverpool will be second team to win at away game if they can finish with this score.
All favorites won except Aston Villa. I'm not sure how they are favorite though, after Grealish left they are not in their best shape but bookmakers showed them favorite. If you underestimate Watford they beat you like that.

Wow, Manchester United vs Leeds United 5-1. The perfect start for Manchester United. They immediately got the job done perfectly with today's big win vs Leeds United. I didn't get to watch the match because today I had the opportunity to fill it with a little vacation and it was impossible to watch the match while traveling. I just saw the replay and I can confirm that although possession was fairly balanced, Manchester United dominated the match today.

Watch the highlights they wasted a couple of chances and I think they could have won this 3 or 4 more goals more and I think the goal they conceded they will not concede when Raphael Varane is playing. It was the perfect game and Manchester United are looking a real threat to Manchester City this year.

The goal scored by Leeds is an amazing goal from outside the penalty box. Even if Varane was there and if the scheme of the goal remains the same, Varane will not change anything as his position will be inside the box, the same as most other Center Defenders. The new season just started, big win on the first match is a good start but MU should not be too confidence.

The real challenge for MU will be starting on October because they will have to meet Everton-Leicester-Liverpool-Tottenham-Manchester City. That will be hard month for them.

This year will be very competitive.
Manchester City aren't gonna win this season EPL with ease, that's if they're even gonna win it.
The battle would be between Manchester City, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. With Manchester City, Manchester United & Chelsea being the favourites.
5&6 are gonna be battled for by Everton Leicester and Tottenham.
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton and mid-table table shit teams are gonna battle for 8 to 20

The long awaiting Premier League is back and whats more interesting is the fact that, fans have been allowed into the stadium once more and now, football fans can go about enjoying the game both from there homes and in the stadium.

Arsenal haven't opened the game wasnybat all impressive at all. So much was expected of them after having quite a commendable pre-season game, they ce to loose not by a goal but by 2 goals to Brentford that just got a promotion into the UCL.

Manchester United have been the delight of its fans still, haven't scored 5 goals against Leeds while, Chelsea trashed Crystal Palace by 3 goals to nothing. Liverpool match on the go and its first half already with Liverpool leading Norwich by a goal to nothing... game on

Liverpool have also started the season and now they are playing against Norwich. They are 1-0 ahead with the goal D. Jota scored. Liverpool have been dominating the game so far. I think that they will score 1 or 2 more goals and get an easy win. Norwich were the champions in the Championship the last season. But in my opinion, they don't have much chance in this match.

Chelsea 3 - 0 crystal palace

There might still be one or two goals, but at the 86th minutes, it is very possible the game may end 3 goals to nothing, but let us keep watching. Today's match between Chelsea and Crystal Palace has been a very mind pleasing, though I expected Chelsea to win, which makes me not to surprise at all, almost all the strong clubs are starting this season with win.

It's true that all strong clubs won and managed to score a lot of goals, in this round there were a lot of goals, something very incredible. but in the next rounds when all teams are already well warmed up, the real dispute will begin.

Aston Villa has bad beginning after losing Grealish.

its a beautiful start this season the top teams in the English premier league are just giving their fans excessive joy Manu defeating Leed united with 5 goals to 1, Chelsea defeating Crystal palace with 3 goals to 0 and liverpool defeating Norwich  3 goals to 0. its a nice start lets await more surprises.

Today's matches in the Premier League was exciting. All the big teams won. Although, is their first matches for the season. But Chelsea had such an easy winning against Crystal Palace. They dominated the match, won both halves. The third goal scored by Chalobah was probably the most impressive one.

Also Manchester United did a great job against Leeds, ended the match with 5-1 score. Pogba assisted in scoring 4 out of the 5 goals. Leeds ended last season at the 9th position, and have to work on their squad this season, their next match is against Everton, which won't also be easy for them to win.

It feels really great to have the premier league back almost in its fully capacity. It's was great day for bettors as well, not much upset/dramas and most fixtures were goals galore, the big guns all won their respective fixtures easily and even scoring well in the process.

Aston Villa has bad beginning after losing Grealish.

I was very surprised with this result.

I wouldn't attribute the Aston Villa's loss to the departure of Grealish, Watford were just rather more clinical even without seeing much of the ball.

I was actually more surprised about the Man Utd huge margin victory, I expected Leeds to keep a close tab or most lose by a goal difference.

We had really awesome games today.

In the Manchester Utd - Leeds game, I thought that I watched the best game ever these days. Manchester Utd had an incredibly good performance. They literally obliterated Leeds, 5-1. Pogba and Fernandes were extremely impressive. And I think the player of the game was definitely Pogba. He made 4 assists in one game which was insane to witness. Fernandes made a great hat-trick also. Manchester Utd have threatened the rest of the clubs in the league by having a start like this.

In the Chelsea - C. Palace game, Chelsea did the expected and erased their opponent, 3-0. Lukaku wasn't able to play as he was lacking match fitness. But Chelsea were still able to win this easily.

And in the Norwich - Liverpool game, Liverpool made a solid effort and defeated their opponent 3-0 away. Salah had a very good start by scoring 1 and making 2 assists. There were some speculations like he would leave the team some time ago but he stayed. Klopp must be happy about it.

Out all the matches today, the wins the loses, I was very impressed with Everton went down against southampton which ended 3:1 in favor of Everton who came back from behind to an impressive win, if the top spot was for hard fought victory then I think I would put them in first place, more woes for arteta's Arsenal, starting the season slowly when every team is looking razor edge sharp, congratulations to Leicester I really gave my support to them.

Incredible EPL matches today, Pogba is back to his usual form.  The trio of Pogba, Fernandez and Sancho should be able to push Manchester United to the tittle race, Varane joined the defence department today too. My predictions still stands on Manchester United and Manchester City. Chelsea thrilled me today with their performance.

Today's epl matches was fun filled  with goals galore, lots of over 2.5 games, except Leicester City game, Chelsea and Manchester United won convincingly, let's see how Arsenal is going to respond to Chelsea next week, and all y'all who think Aston villa will be battling for relegation due to Grealish departure are absolutely wrong, judging by Watford loss is not worth it, because Watford are at home and they are a strong team as well

Manchester United are 1-0 ahead against Leeds now and the first half has ended. Bruno Fernandes scored the goal and the assist belonged to Pogba. Manchester United have some missing players on attacking actually. Cavani is under quarantine and Rashford has a shoulder injury. Martial also can play as a forward but he is in the subs now. Solskjaer preferred Greenwood as their CF.

But I think that they can still win this game. They just need to be very careful on defense. Because Leeds have dangerous players like Bamford and Raphinha.

You spoke to soon Leeds score right after half time and they are looking very motivated now. Manchester United look a little confused on the pitch with passes going everywhere. Solskjaer looking worried I think if he does not have a good season this season finishing in top 3 I think we could see him getting fired.

Actually, it turns out that I didn't speak too soon and Solskjaer won't be fired.    But I must admit that I wasn't expecting Manchester Utd to simply destroy Leeds in this game. 5-1 is a huge result for them. And I was absolutely delighted with Pogba's (4 assists) and Fernandes' (3 goals) performance. This is a great start for them and I hope that they can keep up the good work. I like to watch both of them playing this awesome.

Despite the poor start from Arsenal,i really do think they'll sure up there game.
I'm thinking handling the likes of Lacazette and Aubameyang is a little bit hard for the the manager.
He needs to input the level of confidence in the team.... Arsenals team seems unready for business, they've to gel together and get that understanding among themselves.

I'm so happy with the newly promoted teams,the likes of Brentford and Watford impressing greatly, with the futher support from there fans.
Believe me that feeling is magical, having the full support of the fans present.
Manchester United  impressive start, Debut goals to Chalobah of Chelsea and Danny Ings of Southampton.
Liverpool was solid as well, putting three at the back of the net behind.

It was good enough for me though. It was against Leeds in a home game and 5 goals with 1 conceded is fair because most of the players are in quarantine. I was expecting Cavani to play in this match but I guess Bruno and Pogba carried the whole team today huh

I think the goal they conceded they will not concede when Raphael Varane is playing.

Aside from Varane, there is still Eric Bailly and Lindelop for the CB position. I left Maguire out of this because he is the captain and he is going to start most of the time so there is no way to tell which one of them is going to fill in the starting lineup with Maguire

Manchester City hasnt even played yet but to be honest, there isnt that much changes from last season and Manchester United still relies on Bruno most of the time. There is no way that Bruno is going to play in all matches for the whole season and it could be bad if he is injured
