They are not doing well in the Premier League, as well as in the Champions League. They still have a chance I would say the same thing, but if they don't improve in the near future then it's not impossible that they will lose their place in the Champions League. Ending up in the Europa League is not a good thing, especially when the group they are in actually gives them a great chance.

Ten Hag had to evaluate his tactics because it turned out he failed miserably in the derby match and it was embarrassing because Manchester United couldn't score a single goal. Saving Varane for the Champions League match doesn't seem like the right reason, or maybe because Ten Hag realized that it was impossible to beat Manchester City even though there was a weak team that had beaten City before, so United's defeat was purely because of Ten Hag's bad strategy.

Inasmuch as football is concern, a team performance can't be judged at a time when the season is still young as a team that didn't perform better at the beginning might surprise everyone at the end.

Although the truth is that football could sometimes be very hard to predict because when we feel is obvious that a club has more upper chances of wining there match the next thing you will see them losing the match to a very smaller club they were supposed to win without much of a time.

However irrespective of Manchester City losing there match against Arsenal doesn't give any chance of comparing Manchester United to Manchester City, if you watch that match closely against Manchester City and arsenal, Manchester City would have won the match considering there performance and the chances Manchester City had they would have won or draw, if not that arsenal manages to score on the last minute and perhaps I don't even think that Arsenal would have any chance of wining Manchester City if they should meet again.

Perhaps just like you said the season is too early to judge but sometimes even with the early stage we can see the roadmap of some of the clubs because Manchester United has not really shown any much improvement that they will peak form soon.

Well actually Ten Hag has had time since last season to make changes to his team to make it look more promising, I think they already have that formula to present or display this season, but it turns out that there is no change and even now things are much worse. Last season they were able to finish third in the standings, which made some speculation appear that made everyone especially the fans believe that this season had a good chance of securing the top, but it turned out that when the season was running everything was far from expected.

For the current conditions I honestly wouldn't expect more from them, let alone to become champions at the end of the season, it seems impossible. 8th place in the table is very bad for a team like Manchester United. Yes, their movement and play looks monotonous, the defense is weak and also the attack is very blunt. Cool, now let's say that the tactics failed and that defense was weak, porous and conceded three goals against Manchester City. That defense c an not be relied on during big games like this, this is why I haven't praised Harry Maguire yet. He had a good game, not part of the problems in that game but he has no chance of success with Manchester United.

Ten Hag for me has done more worse to the club than more good his had made to the club. Imagine when he came in, he started having issues with Cristiano Ronaldo, an issue thar escalated to a transfer out of the club to the Saudi Pro League. Similarly, Jado Sancho have been put out of thr pitch including their match against Arsenal that led them to another defeat because Ten Hag claimed he performed poorly in the training and in a response, Sancho said he's been made a scapegoat for long time.

His reactions and utterances to the club have also affected the performance of the club where he acts like a king with the team without putting into consideration many things that should be left under the carpet. This is not about just one player or even the back line of the Manchester United Team, let alone Harry Maguire's performance, I watched this match and I saw Harry Maguire playing better than his other teammates.

You're correct. As of right now, Manchester United is better than Chelsea this season. Chelsea will play ball finish and find it difficult to score to the extent that the other opponents will score. I can only see this because Chelsea was able to drew with Arsenal while Manchester United lost to them, which is why most people believe Chelsea is better than Manchester United. However, any club that plays poorly now could later become serious about their performances at the end of the season because the season is not over yet. The only reason Arsenal was unable to win is because Chelsea had the chance to score first. Manchester United is even trying to move on, but Chelsea could not.

There is no point of keeping him out just because of Champions League while playing the best team in the world in the League match. He might be having little grudges with the player because his relationship with his players sometimes do cause Manchester United some points in the League.

Even if what you say makes sense here, there is still someone to blame for the current erratic performance. Especially with the many controversies he's had (not just this season but from last season) making some conditions unstoppable because after all Ten Hag is the first person to be criticized.

I am very uncomfortable with the assumptions that are being made right now about how power works on these teams. Even though Antony's legal problems and Onana's early problems have been setbacks for Manchester United, the team has shown promise. Im especially amazed by how much better Onana is doing. Still, Im not sure. To help Onana and keep attacking players like Haaland in check, the team needs to improve its defense. Compared to that, Chelsea's future could be rough with the tough games they have coming up. Im excited to see how they handle this time.
