Chelsea are full of surprises but at this time I don't expect any surprise between them and Manchester City, even against them and Tottenham Hotspur the only took the advantage of two red cards and get motivated to score goals, but Manchester City are different from Tottenham that they played nine against eleven with, so their victory in the match can not justify the next match. I quite agree with you that if really Chelsea perform they may end draw but right now Chelsea to win Manchester City who currently on the top of the table and also one of the strongest team in English Premier league with the highest goal scorer this season, I will not said anything folder let just wait for tomorrow and see whether Chelsea will perform miracle and win or Manchester City will win.

But such is the group of death - every round (and especially two) everything turns upside down. After beating PSG they were favorites but now have become underdogs. There are still two games ahead so everything could turn around again. Tonali's disqualification and injuries have led to Newcastle having problems with their squad, now they are not playing optimally, so it's still not a matter of experience in my opinion.

So far, every team in Group F  has a chance of qualifying  for the Round of 16. Newcastle are now just 2 points behind PSG. And Dortmund are 3 points behind. If Newcastle  win their next match against PSG, the scenario will change completely. Newcastle  may be able to move  to the second place in the points table. And if they beat Milan in the last match, Newcastle can strengthen the second place in the table. It is still impossible to predict which two teams from Group F will play in the Round of 16.

Yes, we were lucky that the games worked out so that until the last round, each team will be forced to play for victory, since a defeat could throw it back 2 places at once. This is actually not such a usual case because groups of death often end with two teams suddenly dominating the other two and the final rounds being uninteresting.

Yes, I admit that the performance of the Manchester United team is very bad at the moment, Manchester United has experienced 9 defeats so far in 17 matches, although there is a lot of pressure from a number of Man Utd fans. It's easy for me to answer that question, because I'm sure most people will put Manchester City as favorites in this match, yes including me.
The 2 red cards received by Tottenham players were indeed an advantage for Chelsea at that time and made them finally break Tottenham's unbeaten record. But whether the same thing can happen this week, I don't think it's that easy to happen. But if Chelsea can win it will be a very big surprise this week.

Arsenal played really bad against Newcastle on the previous game week. It caused them to lose the game as well. They already had some games in which they played really badly even though they won those ones. However I believe we will see some progress this week. They should be able to win against Burnley home comfortably.

I saw them really solid against Sevilla last night by the way. They completely dominated the game in Emirates and won by 2-0 easily. This should be a good sign for their future games in the Premier League as well. The interesting thing is the recent games between Arsenal and Burnley ended up with close scores. Maybe this would be the one things change.

The last golden era that Manchester United had was in 2013 when they won the EPL for the last time and it has been 10 years if we count until now. During that time Manchester United often changed coaches from David Moyes, Jose Mourinho, Ole Solskjaer to now Erik Ten Hag and even now they have not won another EPL title. The lack of leadership that is passed on to the next generation is an important factor that has been forgotten and perhaps the commotion that Manchester United often experiences actually continues to add to the problems in almost every season. Erik ten Hag had a good start but now he has lost control of the performance he produced last season and even though Erik ten Hag has idealism in coaching, it is not enough for a club as big as Manchester United.

Finding a new coach is not an easy matter, especially since you have to be burdened with the big responsibility of handling Manchester United and anyone else. If there is a new coach who replaces Erik Ten Hag, of course the results will probably still be the same. Ten hag was expected to change the entire landscape of Manchester United this season. Because Manchester United's performance in the previous season was quite regular. But since the beginning of this season, Manchester United's performance has been very poor. And until now, coach Ten hag could not bring back the consistency of Manchester United's performance. The performance of Manchester United players is poor and their match strategy is also not good. They have been playing the same match strategy and formation since the beginning of the season. Onana has not been putting in his best this season and is now looking as if Manchester United doesn't have a keeper to some extent, I feel Maguire has even improved even to the extent he scored when last did Maguire score a goal, that's an improvement and I know manchester united have been looking for ways to sell Maguire but no club as interest yet. Manchester United's situation is bad concerning sixteen goals is no child play, and their defense is just too weak, is either ten hag works on the goalkeeper or the defense because the two clubs need replacement. the fans are not happy with the state of Manchester United's performance, there won't be any serious change now because even when they play against weak clubs they still lose.

It's ironic that Man United used to consider pushing Maguire out when he's been one of the best performers on the team right now. Last season, I doubted Maguire's suitability for the captain's armband, but this season, besides Maguire, I haven't seen anyone deserving, not even Bruno Fernandes.
As for Onana, he needs better mental stability. If he can achieve this, I believe he'll become a cornerstone goalkeeper for Man United in the future.

Yeah, I agree. Chelsea's win against Tottenham doesn't necessarily mean they played exceptionally well. Chelsea seems a bit like Man United at the moment, vulnerable and prone to losses at any time.

What are you saying? Have you gotten to check the stats about the save ratio and the position Andrea Onana ranks? I don't like how Onana is being targeted.
Will you compare Onana with Ederson? No you won't because,  Ederson is being backed by a team that produces results every weekend.
I won't say same for Onana because even with the improvement of Harry Maguire, they still sucks and will go nowhere with this defense.

Statistically looking at Andre Onana's goalkeeping performance this season, one would say that he isn't a good goalkeeper and that's because of the fact that he's conceded more goals than most of the top teams in not just England but also in European Cup stage.
However, it's also worthy to note that Onana's poor goalkeeping this season is caused by the team's overall poor performance especially Manchester United's defense. We all saw Andre Onana at Ajax and when he was with Inter Milan and can agree to the fact that he's a good world class goalkeeper but has been reduced to an average goalkeeper because of the general performance of his current team

Spurs would never have lost that game, but they went two men down and had to play for over 40 minutes with just 9 players, they also had a couple of injuries to important players. I don't think Chelsea are resurgent, neither are they improving, and if their fans think they are flying right now, they'd be brought back to earth when they face City this Sunday.

On paper, I don't doubt the quality of Pep Guardiola squad at all, and I also can't underestimate Chelsea. Who would have thought that a surprise would happen again, and we would all be surprised again by the results.

But whatever the scenario, I think betting on City winning is still very safe, because we know the risk is smaller. Chelsea only benefited from playing at home, on the other hand I saw many things that made Pep's squad worthy of being superior.

Manchester United with the teams that are always in the relegation zone clearly have different qualities and therefore, because Manchester United so far still not managed to have a stable performance . So ya, at least Manchester United in this season is quite or maybe very disappointing . Indeed, last season Manchester United managed to get good results, until Manchester United managed to finish in the top four and get a Champion League ticket . But unfortunately, this season Manchester United failed again but even so, I personally still think that results like this can still be said to be reasonable. Because anyway, basically the great era of Manchester United is over ofcourse, when the era of Sir Ferguson ended also at that time.

Completely agree with you bud, like I think I mentioned in my last comment on this thread, I wasn't opportuned to watch the match between Chelsea and Tottenham, and I did was very surprised when I learnt that they (Chelsea) beat Tottenham, I was like, how can this be true? What really happened? I had a lot of questions running through my mind.

Later learnt that Tottenham played with just 9 players as two of their players unfortunately got suspended from the match due to them being awarded a red card, I must say that it was a very unfortunate match for spurs, and Chelsea I believe can not boost of deserving the win they got from that match, it is just luck that decided to smile on them that day, and Chelsea fans who are truly sensible should know this already and not boost.

Gunners defeat against Newcastle United was planned, they had players and the strategy but couldn't install this technique against the Magpies who were seriously aggressive throughout the game. Arsenal are enlisted among the competitive teams that will go home with major trophies this season. Gunners have been really fierce in league games and Mikel Arteta having tremendous moment in the club, he deserves all the accolades when his team wins a game because it's really been a long time Arsenal performance was this outstanding.

To be fair, it is Spurs' problem if their players are indisciplined to receive two red cards in one game and it is no business of Chelsea. The thing is, i personally think Spurs would have beaten them if Romero and Udogie were not sent off (but we'd never know what would have happened), but i would not call it luck on the part of Chelsea, they got the job done as expected.

Having said that, what i didn't see from Chelsea is any sort of resurgence, even when they had the two man advantage, they were not moving the ball so well, and they didn't control the game as i expected them to do with the advantage they had, yes they won 4-1, but the scoreline somewhat doesn't tell the true picture and i don't think they stand a chance against City on Sunday.

With what Chelsea players has showcased so far in some games show that Chelsea have a long way to go in the premier league competition before they will begin to come close to 5th position or 4th position because, their performance in this summer is not constant compare to what Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester city, Arsenal and Liverpool are displaying in this summer which is the evidence any strong team that is well prepared can display.

 
I don't think Chelsea can beat Manchester city in their next game because, Manchester city case is different from Tottenham Hotspur which Manchester city players will not allow Chelsea players to breath well until they secure victory from them to win the 3 points from the game which is possible for team like Manchester city.
