A pretty good free kick from Martin Ødegaard was able to penetrate the Burnley net and again Arsenal managed to win two consecutive Premier League wins. The results are quite positive for Arsenal to be able to improve their position in the standings and continue to get three points every game and be consistent to get back into the top 4th positions.  Although only made one goal by freekick from Martin Ødegaard
Arsenal should improved their forward line and make many goal for match later, I think three points is important but how Arsenal should win more than one goal in every match.

arsenal is not good, they only managed to score 1 goal even playing against a weak team, this is something worrying if arsenal keeps this bad performance i estimate that arsenal will end in 8 or 9 premier league position.

With this victory, arsenal is now starting to climb up to 12th place in the English league standings, in my opinion, this victory means a lot for arsenal now to be able to restore their confidence after three lucky defeats

I wouldn't be so convinced of that because they play against a very weak team. we will see their next game against tottenham

The match at Villa Park is quite amusing... a boring 0-0, then on comes Leon Bailey on 60 minutes, scores one goal and assists another, Villa suddenly rampant and 3-0 up... then he goes off injured on 80 minutes.
20 minutes on the pitch, job done!

These two matches were (for different reasons) the most "surprising" results for today's menu.
Manchester City vs Southampton and Wolves vs Brentford

Man City throughs away 2 valuable points while on the other side Southampton gets 1 out of nothing.
Wolves seem like they miss Nuno Espirito more than anything. It's like they lost their identity as a team. Brentford takes the 3 points and I get a nice winning parlay! Thank you Brentford!!!

Just disapointed at Manchester City was expecting them to destroy Southampton at home and they drawed 0-0. I dont know why i even putted such a small odd on my bet. But who expected City to drop points here honestly. Brentford another surprise today totally unexpected

I think you should avoid putting on bets that involve teams which are less than 1.60 odds because it is not worth the risk. You see it a lot but smaller teams usually play better against the bigger teams because they put all their men behind the ball and are aiming to get a point or more. In normal matches these smaller teams try to win games. That is what Southampton did today against Manchester City they had every player behind the ball and Manchester City were struggling to find spaces and create chances. At half time Southampton had less shots but more on target than Manchester City.

Crystal Palace is not a weak team. They are known as fighters. The likes of Zaha, Ayew and C.Benteke always push hard and harder on defenders. Most times their pushes give birth to some goals, yer those goals would be subtracted by the defence. But I think Vieira should seriously work on his defence. Those guys were too lazy today, first and second goals were all defensive errors. If they should strengthen their defence, those guys can contest for Europa.

They need to create chances and score more goals. There is need to introduce Alexander Lacazette into this game because Saka and Emeirre Aubameyang have been so silent through out the first half.

I think they need a good strong midfield presence in the game, as in one who can hold , deliver some good pass , win the ball. Xhaka is suspended so I can understand why this is a problem right now but I think it's just for this game. Once he is back they will be back to normal. I am glad that Arsenal are on advantage here as they desperately needs points right now and game against Burnley is the perfect opportunity for them.

But Mikel Arteta knows how the Burnley side plays their football, so maybe maybe he felt like fielding more offensive midfielders to not allow them, the Burnley side too much random movement. If you noticed during the match, Arsenal were trying to pass from the back and it was only Thomas Partey that was always the available midfielder to bring up the ball to the other attacking players. Normally Granit Xhaka gives the team stability and freedom for other players to attack fully. The team misses him and he is set to return for the London derby against Spurs.

Southampton really put up a great performance today against Manchester City. They surprised me, I never thought they would draw the match and  achieved a point. When the first half ended, i initially thought City will bounce back in the second half and probably win the match. But, Southampton defensive was strong. Although, Manchester City had only 1 shot of target. However, they dominated the match with 64% ball possession.

Today we have very decent day for Premier League teams because all was on good form and done good job, just Manchester City was frustrated by struggler Southampton as they fail to break deadlock and match ends in frustrating 0 - 0.

Arsenal is also doing good but still far away from their required results because in first 5 matches they able to score just 2 goals it's not accepted team like this but at least now they have decent result from last two wins after losing first 3 matches.

Liverpool is doing great job and now again leader in League, look like we are going to have very exciting end of this season if all will be OK from top ranked teams.

arsenal won the match but by a very small score and what they were up against was a team that was on the brink of relegation.
maybe its performance can be said to have improved a bit even though I don't think that way because the team they are playing against is a team with the same condition and pain.
I think Arsenal need to add more teamwork and have to sharpen their front line especially in the next few games Arsenal will meet teams that can be troublesome like Tottenham and Leicester City.

The managers of Arsenal were so stubborn when change was supposed to be done as soon as possible and slept on the Job, and now to get Arsenal out of the pit they fell in, it would require some serious oil money and fresh brains.

No serious player would want to go to Arsenal at the moment. Even the high class chaps like Aubameyang will leave soon.

For a team that has high ball possession like Manchester City it is usually quite difficult to score when the opponent defends well like Southampton at this time. Actually I was a bit surprised to know that Manchester City failed to win today's game at home after a few days ago they won big in the Champions League. They had good motivation after yesterday's win, but it was wasted in today's game against Southampton. Luckily they didn't lose today although a draw wasn't the result I was expecting.

The result that Manchester City got against Southampton today was really surprising for most people. I never thought that this would end in a 0-0 draw. I expected at least three goals in this match. Manchester City could still have won this match but Sterling's goal was cancelled by VAR in the last minute. I guess that Guardiola is not happy with the result.

For a team that has high ball possession like Manchester City it is usually quite difficult to score when the opponent defends well like Southampton at this time.

It is not about ball possession game style, but it is about how effective City strikers in attacking, or how smart City midfielders to create passes that can lead to shot on target. Ball possession is good, nothing wrong with ball possession. Another thing is to have a strong Central Forward that can make the opposites backs busy to keep him. So, other strikers can have a chance to score. But the problem may be City has no strong Centre Forward right now. I think it is time for City to be more serious to sign strong strikers in the next transfer windows.

There are some risky bets that look terrifyingly good like Leicester @2.8 vs Brighton @2.6, Everton @3 vs Aston Villa @2.4, Wolves @1.8 vs Brentford @5.
Well those favourites teams might win of course but it worth taking the risk or playing double chance for lower rates?

Of the all I really like Brentford at 5 odds against wolves who has 1.8 I think it's really an exciting odd to play, and I would be placing a brentford win Regardless of the high odds, I don't think wolves are far better than Brentford even if wolves won their last match, so it's a risk I would be taken this weekend.
I would not be excited about Leicester city I think they aren't a good straight win to take for anybody this weekend, although it's my thoughts their match is seemingly going to be a draw.

The match will be a difficult match for Arsenal, because Arsenal, which relies more on the game with beautiful and short passes, will face a team that has an aggressive style of play with good play and also relies on the physical advantages of its players, besides that Burnley is one of the a team in the English premier league that often plays hard and the players often make dangerous tackles so far.

Yes but in my opinion the Premier League is the league where even the teams from the lower part of the table are closest to those of the upper part. Unless you see a season like Manchester City or Liverpool scoring 95 points and more. But usually in the Premier League games are still the closest between all the teams participating. Arsenal vs. Burnley doesn't sound like an easy win for Arsenal to me. Arsenal isn't constantly smashing the small ones anymore, they haven't been doing that for years now.

Indeed, I admit that now the English league has been quite competitive and not infrequently small teams can surprise us all with their positive achievements in the standings at the end of the league in recent years, as you know, so far Arsenal is one of the teams that can continue to excel control of the top 4 of the English league standings, but in recent years arsenal's performance has continued to decline and even they often lose important points in a match and that happens when they face a team that incidentally has a level below arsenal so far, for example last season, Arsenal suffered 13 defeats and most of them came from small teams.

Was that the season where Arsenal managed as the first and last team ever to finish a whole season without a single defeat? I remember they had a lot of draws as well, and they also didn't win that many trophies, but they were always part of the top group and a favorite for the trophies. Wenger was a great manager, but in total he didn't win that many trophies in the end. Probably also because Manchester United at the time was just unreachable for most of the other teams.

I don't see Man City motivated by anything they play badly based on statistics City only had 1 shot on target out of a total of 16 shots even Southampton had 2 shots on target from 10 shots this really doesn't make sense, some people say it's just luck, some say it's about settings.

Yes, I thought it was a five odd served on the dining my those who set the odds, really I don't see how wolves gets below 2 odds and Brentford get up to 5 odds regardless of if wolves is at home, so I was going to risk it all on Brentford and I was on smiling train as early as in the first half, although I think everyone should avoid betting on the big team's when they face southampton, southampton is acting like robinhood this season.

Seconded. Even as a Liverpool fan, I do actually the fact that Palace gave us a run for our money and deserved at least a point from that much but those defensive errors cost them all 3 points. Their defense suffered a lot from set pieces especially corners and that's what gave Liverpool the edge. As for the 3rd goal, there was very little the keeper could do after his initial save.

As I said above based on statistics Man City can't make a shot on target there is only one reason Southampton have a strong defense? or Man City striker failed
Maybe Southampton's defense is a strong reason because in the last 3 weeks Man United was also only able to score 1 goal when the game ends in a draw
To be sure we have to wait for Southampton against Chelsea on 2 october.
