Honestly I was surprised when I saw odds for Chelsea that low. They were not heavy favorite in this game. Brighton & Hove Albion played better and gained one point with a last minute goal. They deserved this. Chelsea couldn't dominate any part of the game.
Chelsea still passed Liverpool by one point though, Manchester City will be the happiest team this week if they keep the score. Brentford couldn't do much but City still should find second goal to play more comfortably.

City still winning and Chelsea just dropped points. Who would have thought that would happen? Chelsea gave Brighton too much of the ball and paid dearly for it. It was interesting to watch considering I just woke up abd started watching the game from the 70th minute and immediately placed a bet only to watch Welbeck equalized at the dieing minutes. After seeing that goal and knowing how Chelsea played in the second half, I knew there was no way they would be able to do anything more in 2 minutes.

After the recent results, it is quite exciting to place bets on any team other than City, and the odds do not arouse much interest - in today's match Chelsea's victory is quoted as 1.4. In my opinion, the coefficient does not compensate for the risk. City's victory is quoted at all as 1.16 - given the fact that this is an away game and City can afford to lose a couple of points without any problems, I see no reason to make such a bet.

On the other hand for chelsea I don't know if it's the best or not but I'll leave it without a bet or be in a draw.
i feel their performance is very bad due to the injury storm of their players but surely many people will beat chelsea but don't forget that brighton always make big team difficult

Chelsea lost points again and is now closer to Arsenal than to City (if we take into account the game in the reserve that Arsenal has)   In the Brentford - City match, there are still 5 minutes to play, but it looks like City will keep a minimal advantage and the competition in the EPL turns to dust in just a few rounds of boxing days

I know Brighton Hove Albion was a string force but, not strong enough for Chelsea have done away with. Chelsea that have been very strong this season seems to have had some disappointing games lately and this surely was one game they should have won. Not lose or settle for a draw but claim all 3 points in this game. They just kept letting Brighton find the loose ends and making attempts upon attempts until they found the net in the last minute. They even bettered Chelsea in possessions.
Perhaps they might end at the third place this time and find better luck with the UCL because, the EPL seems pretty locked to them. Pep has got Liverpool and Chelsea right where he would have wanted them. Tonight, he's out grabbing all 3 points and extends Manchester city's leads still.

Unfortunately, Chelsea really messed things up for themselves in the last moments of the match. In the first minute of the stoppage time, they conceded a header goal by Welbeck and couldn't prevent a 1-1 draw at the end. Chelsea are having a big problem on scoring more than one goal. I don't know why but we saw it in this match clearly. If they were able to make it 2-0, I wouldn't give any chance for Brighton to steal any point. But a 1-0 score is always dangerous for every team.

Chelsea performance are quit unstable, and they have been struggling in their matches lately. I can't believe they were not able to win their home match today. Brighton is not a teams have would have given Chelsea a tough time. Although, am not underrating Brighton, but Chelsea hav a better squad than them. I was also expecting Chelsea to secure another goal. But unfortunately, Chelsea ended the game in draw and lost their chances of achieving 3 points.

It's true that Chelsea's form has started to decline in recent games, even in the last 5 matches Chelsea were only able to win twice. I don't know
why Chelsea started dropping points and getting further away with the points that Man City have. Indeed, Chelsea is currently still in second place,

The second goal didn't come but three points secured for Man City. It's wins like this that makes a huge difference for title contenders. It doesn't matter if it was an ugly or superb performance as long as they get the job done. Capitalize on every chance and take maximum points.

I predicted Manchester City's win.  However, I was expecting a game with more goals.  The 1-0 result was a bit risky.  They could have conceded in the last minute like Chelsea.  Fortunately, there was no fear and the match ended with Manchester City's 1-0 victory.  Man City's only goal came from Foden.  With this score, Manchester City's points reached 50.  16 wins in 20 games is very good.  Strongest candidates for the championship.

I think the draw between Southampton Vs Tottenham is a prove why Antonio Conte want a new striker,is game like this the gaffer play Two striker's at the far end, I remember last season under Jose Murinho against West Bromwich Albion when spurs are looking for a goal,then Jose Murinho brought in Carlos Vanicius, few minutes later Kane scored. Spurs need to bring in Vlahovic from Fiorentina.

No one and no one will rejoice in defeat, especially Bretford, who plays very well. Losing Manchester City 0:1 is not a shame. City is a very strong club. I think at the moment one of the strongest not only in Europe, but also in the world. Perhaps my reasoning is because I sympathize with Guarddeola, but I adhere to my point of view that City will win the Premier League, and in the Champions League they have only two rivals, Bavaria and Real.

They certainly weren't happy with this defeat. But I say they should be happy, for the good performance they showed throughout the match. They had opportunities to score and defended well.
One thing is for sure, having only conceded one goal by City is a great achievement, against this almost invincible team.

Good point - one that I totally understand. Since the start of the season, Brentford has been one of those mid-range teams that give even the biggest teams in England a run for their money and I can't say I was surprised with the solid display and performance Brentford delivered because I wasn't surprised. It's hard to concede fewer goals from teams like city and its even harder to score or win them so Brentford did a good job if you're judging from performance.

Brentford, of course, should hardly be happy about losing, but still, given the crushing score Manchester City dealt with their rivals in recent matches, then some reason for optimism should be present. Another question is that such optimism in itself did not add tournament points to Brentford because of the loss. Thanks to the rather unexpected loss of points by competitors, Manchester City was able to consolidate its leadership and increase the gap to 8 points. If Liverpool's loss in the match with Leicester could still be expected, then Chelsea's draw in the match with Brentford is a big surprise for me, despite some decline in the game shown and Chelsea's results.

Yes this is the 3rd day I see a surprise in the Premier League some unexpected matches messed up my parlay some of the top teams in EPL play draw and lose
This really doesn't make sense as already planned or is it possible for all coincidence? What is certain is  I will avoid betting in the next few matches, I suspect the suction is not over. Weird this happened almost in all leagues not only in the premiere.

With this result and 8 different points, will be hard for Chelsea to be a champion. the squad was a bit careless in the last minutes, they are very confident to be a winner until didn't watch the defense. this result is a correction for Tuchel and the defender if still want to continue to champion. The former of MU, Danny Welbeck was a hero injury time, I admit he is worth as man of the match (not Lukaku), with only 10 minutes playing, he can break up the party.

Brighton were slightly better than Chelsea yesterday, they fully deserved that point it was coming for ages. It is quite funny to me because Chelsea are having tough games ahead, and they are busy dropping point like that. if they continue playing and failing to score simple goals we will end up leaving the top four. Honestly, Chelsea can't catch city if they continue dropping points mostly at home, any time soon this season. The team simply lack creativity and Ruthlessness up front. Brighton always looked like scoring, fully deserved, completely dominated Chelsea they were hungry for it. Brighton deserves a point in todays game.

Chelsea or even Liverpool were never winning the league. Manchester City is far to strong. Chelsea were poor again. No pace going down the wings. Back passing all the time. Where Chelsea and Liverpool stumble, Manchester city strides on 8 and 9 points clear at the top of the premier League table. Manchester City will surely win this league because the teams under them are feeling the pressure more, dropping points that could put pressure on Manchester City but no it has become a norm whenever Manchester City is at the top, the teams close under them starts to misbehave. That’s how you win, if you can’t win small teams then forget about the league. Pep has mastered this act and it has helped his team till now.
