The funny thing is that I wanted to place an over 6.5 goals bet for fun as the odd during lunch time today was 19 but I had a gut feeling that Manchester United would screw up today and didn't bet at all.I guess it will be difficult for this game to end over 6.5 goals but it is not impossible.Manchester United is putting up a good show,now is this from the new manager or some new motivation from the players is hard to tell but for me it is because of the new manager that they are playing well tonight.

For me, the formation isn't so different from previous matches, it is the same formation. But Manchester United is using a different player combination (different starters), it seems quite effective to make their game be more aggressive in attacking. It can be seen from the stats, they made 12 shots, 4 shots on target for the first half. From 4 shots on target, they successfully scored 3 goals. I really appreciate how Manchester players can optimize the chances to score, they didn't waste it. Sure, there will be many goals, I expect in the 2nd half, Manchester United can make more goals.

It was a pretty impressive start for sure, after third goal that was obvious they get three points here. Burnley found one more goal before half time but their game play is not promising. I expect Manchester United to score one more goal and then substitute big names to prevent any unnecessary injuries. I don't think Burnley have any hope to get point after that half time score as well. We may see more chill second half. If you are looking for some adrenaline you may try over 5.5 goals bet though.

in this first round match they were so crazy. how they pressed and dominated for 45 minutes of the first half I felt it was a very good performance for United. and maybe this was the best game of the previous few matches when they were managed by Rangnick.

Have been wondering who will Antonio Conte drop when Christian Romero comes back in  the Tottenham defence because the three ( Sanchez, Eric Dier, Davies) used in that position are doing well at the moment.i think Davison Sanchez position at the right side of the defence will be where Romero will be used but I don't think he can displace Sanchez easily because he is in top form now.

Although MUFC is winning at the moment and don't forget it is not against a very big team with performing players, i am still not convinced that they can do better than a 5th or a 4th on the EPL table. We can see easy win for Manchester United  exactly what we predicted It's just not perfect because Burnley managed to score too even though they only make 1 shot on goal
In the second half it hasn't looked aggressive instead Burnley tried to press with several shots if it continues like this Burnley has the chance to score the 2nd goal.
Manchester must stay focused no need to rush more scores 3-1 is actually enough for them.

The onslaught continued in this second half, although it was not as surprising as in the first half but there were some good opportunities that MU had in the second half but unfortunately there were no additional goals so far.

Rangnick is having a good game today. Winning with a good goal margin in front of cheering Man Utd fans is a really good way to end the year. Burnley have had their moments but I knew since the start of the match that they won't be able to keep Man Utd at bay. We still have about 10 minutes of normal time + extra time to play so I'm thinking we might see yet another goal before the match ends.

There are still around 14 games to go and anything can happen 8-9 points difference that means it takes about 3 wins and hoping Man city loses
What makes this all possible is that in the EPL there are many strong teams so they can beat Manchester city. yes, this is just an estimate.
Next game Man city will play away against Arsenal here anything can happen as well as in other matches.

There are like 18 games left for most teams, some even have less than that Burnely literally played only 15 games so far, that's less than half. There are enough games left for "technically" speaking City to relegate. I know that doesn't make sense for most people and I can guarantee 100% that it will not happen, we all know it won't happen, I am just talking about mathematically how many games are left.

This is why I have to say that there is nothing guaranteed so far, teams will have to be better, like Liverpool getting a loss is not acceptable for them when they are chasing City, something that was nearly 1-2 points became 3 then became 6 now (well 9 but one game in hand so who knows?). This is why I do not think that there is anything that could be done to change that at this moment, but in the future there are enough games left to see Liverpool doing better.
