There is a fair amount of possibility that Chelsea might force City to drop some points. Title race is stiff right now and there is not much weeks left given the gap so it is a crucial match where they can pull back the gap between them and City on the table. Tuchel has beaten them in an important match - CL final and now this one is also an important one. BTTS is also a good option Manchester City have been conceding goals lately and the wing backs might create problems for the defence and the keeper.

I would say it is pretty much a first match ball. City isn't going to lose a ton of games this season, it just won't happen unless they Gert hit by the virus. Liverpool isn't as stable either, so City would not only have to lose points, but Liverpool would have to win them all. I don't know. But anyway, it will be fun to watch the City - Chelsea game.

I'm also one of the people who think that Manchester City could even lose their next game against Chelsea. I'm aware that it is a home game for City but we are talking about Chelsea too. Chelsea are one of the powerful teams and they are solid as for their defense generally. I know also that Manchester City defeated Chelsea away in the Premier League this season. But Manchester City lost their last 2 home games against Chelsea too. And I think that Chelsea could make it again. But City are still being favoured of course.

Chances that Manchester city would be loosing a ton of games is pretty much zero and just as you said, it's also going to be a lot more difficult for other teams too to gain in points on all there games to give them a chance of meeting up with Manchester City. Looking at the covid thing, it pretty hoes both ways. As much as Manchester City could be hit, Chelsea and Liverpool could too but, I really hope not, so we could see a beautify game in the Manchester City vs Chelsea fixtures. There is a possibility of a draw in this match where the bookie offers odds of 4. But I think Manchester City should not be underestimated in this match because this is a prestigious match between the two teams. Chelsea have only won once in the last 5 matches while City have won all of them in their last 10 matches. So I'm sure to say that City win even if the draw is probably a good choice to bet on.

Yeah the squad they have is pretty dense and Guardiola gives them fair amount of chances so they have decent experience as well. Even till now with 21 games played they have played 2 draws and 2 losses so that's total of 10 point drop. It's very tough for others but might as well give a shot..who knows maybe out of nowhere they drop enough points for others to catch up.

For the Premier League trophy I'm sure Manchester City will win it. But for the Champions League I'm not sure, because other teams have played as well as Manchester City. I think Real Madrid and Bayern Munich would probably be strong candidates for that.

Yes they have good chance to win the champions league but they have work towards it very well, more effort in their performance because their other strong teams too like Liverpool that are good that things can just change all of a sudden. Things like this are unexpected sometimes.

The problem with champions league title is that you have to be at 100% every single game. Like last year, they were already at the finals and lets be honest it is clear to me that Chelsea was not the better team on that game, they were definitely the underdogs. Which shows that City played amazingly for whole season and then during the finals they dropped the ball. That is why you can't have even a single game where you are bad or you will be out (well after group stages).

So City could win, they do have that talent, they have that chemistry, they have a strategy, they have a great manager all in all they have everything they need but one bad game and they are totally out. This is why we can't be sure of who will win it this year, they look like they are the best team if you ask me, but that doesn't mean anything when they were the best last year as well and still lost.

Yes, it is just a bit annoying that for many leagues you have one team dominating too hard too early during the season. Everyone of us knows how exciting it is to have the decisive games during the last two weeks or so of a season. The thrill is just gone when by game day 28 a team like City leads by 19 points. Even as a fan of the leading team I guess winning a title tastes better if it happens on the very last game day. Reminds me of the season when Liverpool and City went head to head until the very last day. That's fun, but not going to happen I fear for this season.

Na-ah not for me , watching my team chelsea twice a week .. even 3 matches in a week since last 27 december against aston villa makes my last two weeks feels entertaining! tight schedule between FA cup , league cup and premier league for chelsea , not like the others who gets postponed so most of them rested very well. for sure if you look at the premier league schedule you will see not much game played. but if you look at clubs fixtures .. you will see a tight schedule!

chelsea will have to play against tottenham this wednesday on 2nd leg league cup before the big match against manchester city this saturday. maybe you need to re-check your club fixtures (if you have one  ) and see if it was bored or you can find some entertainment

Even is no event match for this week, we can see the review from reporters and watch classic matches with each other to wash boredom. If you like to random bet, the other leagues also play for this week like Seri A and Bundesliga. It’s exciting thinking about Manchester city VS Chelsea game, it would be an incredible game to watch, but from my point of view I do not see any team stopping Manchester city right now. They are just 100% perfect at what they do right now, and Pep is indeed doing a great job with the team. You wouldn’t even notice any form of weakness from any side of the team just because of how he tends to cover every area smoothly. The last EPL game Manchester city lost was against crystal palace at home which was on the 30th of oct 2021 and ever since then they have gone on a winning streak in the EPL without any draw. While Chelsea on the other hand isn’t really in the best of  form right now, so I don’t really see them stopping the citizens.
