I used to watch FA cups but I find it just a distraction these days. Top Premier League teams do not even see it as a priority since they only send their second tier teams to compete most of the time. It's also not surprising when they lose to Championship teams because of that.

This is what the case has often been before hand, now, times have changed. Just like the Bundesliga where we've got a Bayern Munich dominance of the league, the EPL has turned out to be confined to very few teams in the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.  No other team counts so much and you can be almost certain that, these 3 would always be in the top 3 spots while the other teams struggle on whatever spot is left.
Looking at this fact, the rest teams have redirected there energy and force towards the FA and Carabao Cup for there chance of going home with a trophy. Even Europa now has become difficult, not to mention the UCL. So, its not really a game for second eleven anymore, just a slight change but, you could be sure the big dogs would be out once the time is running out.

I would not say that all three top places will necessarily belong to Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, but rather I would say that the winner of the championship is likely to be one of them It's just that the Premier League is the tournament where the real strength of the club is manifested over a long distance and the accidents inherent in the cup system are leveled. At the same time, they try their second tier players to keep them hot. This is an opportunity for them to show their abilities. I think if they play well it is not impossible to become a player in the first team. Yes, it's a little difficult, but there's nothing wrong with showing their ability to be noticed by the coach.

Arsenal have proven that they can win the previous derby which ended 3-1 to Arsenal's victory. But the problem is now they are playing at home to Tottenham where Arsenal are not very good at away match. Arsenal have lost 5 times at away match but because of their good form then they deserve to be favourites. But should Arsenal fail, it would be their 6th away loss this season from 11 games.

In recent years the encounters between Tottenham and Arsenal has mostly gone in favor of the team at home, although arsenal lost 1-0 last night,  arsenal right now is a team that can play very well and Tottenham as well, although they have their own weaknesses and backlash.  it would definitely be an interesting derby encounter between both teams but. We should be expecting a drama on this match day and Arsenal hasn’t really been able to deliver away from home this season, I think Tottenham have a upper hand to win this fixture.

Nottingham Forrest had great success by knocking out Arsenal.  But his next opponent is at least as strong as Arsenal.  They were paired with Leicester City.  I find this defeat embarrassing for Arsenal.  They may not have cared because it was the FA CUP, but Arsenal should have won this game anyway.

It was a very poor performance from Arsenal. They were busy doing nothing, passing the ball side ways and backwards instead of looking to create chance and score. I think only the first 14 players are good but the rest of the back up players and fringe players are not. It was quite displeasing, 67% possession, 10 shots, 0 on target, and simply excuses to follow. I was expecting Arteta to put out his strongest team, kill the game off then rest your top players. They do not have the depth in quality of players. When you pay players these wages and supposedly playing at the highest level, you should expect more. Arteta did not just learn from the first match he play with Nottingham forest in FA cup last two season.

yes, because it is often filled by second line players, making matches by big teams unattractive, the composition of players played by big teams does not describe the prestige of the FA trophy. To be honest, I don't care about the result of the FA Cup match even if it's played by a big or my favorite team.
if the FA Cup trophy is not prestigious and the team doesn't seem to care about the winning, it's better to just delete it this Cup, it only make the schedule more crowded.

I don't really understand this - Liverpool was in a good situation to play Arsenal and they would have wanted to. What are these people thinking? That the players faked their tests?

If there is an unimportant cup for top clubs of the Premier League, it is definitely the EFL Cup. Because that one has a much lower quality than the FA Cup. Maybe FA Cup is not as prestigious as the Premier League of course but it is the second biggest tournament in England I believe. The top clubs are trying their best in their tight schedule. And there haven't been much surprise in the FA Cup when it comes to its winners. Generally, the top clubs have won it so far.

In my opinion, the home side look stronger but I wouldn't make a prediction on the outcome of this match... I think it's safe to bet on both teams to score... The odds on that are pretty good - 1.9...
By the way, if you believe the statistics, 4 of the last 5 home games Southampton played in a draw, and Brentford did not win away in the last 5 Premier League games! So maybe today will be a draw...

Yeah, most of the players ultimately tested as false positives. I don't really know much about testing to judge is this possible and how - I know from the club's perspective that it made more sense for us to play Arsenal than to reschedule.
I'm sure that we did not do this on purpose because we are not that type of club (especially with Klopp in charge who is always following the rules) but I'm also interested to see what happened.

Our whole training centre was closed and there was no training at all, it is suicide to do this on purpose at this time during the season. Whatever it was - it was not intentional, that is for sure.

Honestly I think Brentford has a chance here, Saints have been struggling ever since Danny Ings left and there is no proper striker in their team. The best goalscorer they have right now is Prowse or Che Adams. Armando Broja has been performing recently for Saints but needs consistency and he is young as well so lacks experience. Brentford started the league with solid performances and they have good defence and attack. I think it is an even one but I am gonna go with Brentford here.
