Manchester city vs Newcastle was so interesting yesterday,  the game made me to remembered the comment of Manchester city coach when Real Madrid defeated Manchester city, that he came to Manchester City to win the Premier League.
I was thinking it will be very be hard for Manchester United to defeat Newcastle because Newcastle have been playing tough for sometime.

Pep Guardiola won't have an excuse to give to the board if he lost the game against Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium. City won the game that would have degraded them on the table. Newcastle are known for winning big teams in EPL. Pep made the game to be an easy victory for city. Newcastle couldn't withstand the pressure they got from city in the both halves. City are 3 points clear off Liverpool on the table. Manchester city still have small challenges ahead of them in the upcoming games, like wolves. City will face wolves in their next game and wolves are in a better form. They did a late come back against the blues in their game.

Everton position in the standings has not been so good in recent weeks, slowly Frank Lampard's team is showing significant development, both in terms of appearance on the field or the confidence of the players. It looks extremely likely now that Man City will win it,and with that huge win at the weekend, they not only opened a gap on Liverpool, they also created a vital gap on goal difference, too.
Both teams have three games left, and both have to play both Villa and Wolves. Their other games are Southampton (Liverpool) and West Ham (Man City).
For Man City to not win the league, they need to drop three points or more. So even two wins and a draw gives them the title. It really does look to be just about settled now.

With 3 remaining matches, Manchester City need to get 7 out of 9 points to secure the title but I believe Manchester City will get it all eventually. Now the only enemy to win the title for Manchester City is themselves. Losing focus or underestimating the remaining opponents may make them do mistakes and fail to get full points. Manchester City is in a better situation as well compare to Liverpool because Liverpool are still participating in 3 different competitions (FA, EPL and UCL).
