I think Harry took more of the stick for United's failures than any other player, and that is quite unfortunate for him because i think he was not the only poor player in the squad last season, some players were even worse than him or just as bad as he was, but Maguire was the player getting all of the negative attention, in my opinion, United were terrible last season, and it was all collective stuff and no fault of Maguire's, i hope he has a better season next time.

Having said that, there is optimism amongst the United fan base because of their new manager, i really do not know how good his philosophies are, but he didn't do any badly in his former team, so United fans have every right to be optimistic, the only worry now would be that Manchester United are rather too slow with their transfer business, while other clubs are stepping it up, they are yet to make any positive move which is indeed a worry.

Well Manchester United won their first game against a huge opponent and this is a good signal for them. But i still dont see how they will win the title or be in the bery top without any good signings. There is a little time and they didnt bring any huge names in their team

You can certainly hope if you are a Manchester United fan. But know, they are still too weak to be expected to win the title as long as Liverpool and Manchester City continue to improve the quality of their players by buying in the market. Take a look at who Manchester United have signed for this season, and compare what Liverpool and Manchester City have done even if it doesn't guarantee success.

Ten Hag has a chance and he can also be expected because he is a good coach. But his success is still in doubt because this is his first season in the Premier League which is much tougher than the previous competition in Dutch.

People have started to criticize Darwin Nunez already now as far as I can see. There was a friendly match between Liverpool and Manchester United yesterday. Manchester United won the match by 4-0 as well. Darwin Nunez played in this match for around half an hour too. His performance wasn't very impressive maybe but I still think that it is unfair to judge him just by a friendly. We see the real power of players after the season officially starts. I hope to see this for Nunez too.

Apart from the friendly match, this is the first time he has play with Liverpool, the eyes of the fans will be fixated on Nunez as a substitute for Sadio Mane and when he play  unlike expect, it is natural that the fans criticize him because in his first match he should give satisfaction to the fans and the team. But as you said, we will see the results when the official match starts. And I was more fixated on Manchester United, they play quite well and there was a change in the style of play the Red Devils

Many changes were made by Ten Hag in improving the performance of the Manchester United game in the match against Liverpool yesterday and even the strategy implemented by Ten Hag was able to make Manchester game quite interesting to watch, but as you said, of course  we cannot claim if manchester united has bounced back just because of winning in the pre-season match, the pre-season match is just a game to test the depth of the existing squad and in my opinion the manchester victory is just a luck, other than that the players will certainly not play as insistently as in the league to avoid possible injuries that occur Later, Nunez has been from a different competition so he still needs time to really adapt to Liverpool and premiere league style of play, that's why Liverpool fans should be patient to see Nunez current best performance.

It's too early to guess who will win the Premier League. The top teams are very active in bringing in players in the transfer market except for Manchester United, which looks very slow in the transfer market this time. Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and several other big teams are strengthening their squad by bringing in some new faces in their squad. From my point of view, the Premier League competition this season is very tight.  They must fight it out to collect point by point in order to compete for the title at the end of the season.

I mean it is obvious that we wouldn't be really expecting the giants of EPL which makes probably the most income of any team, to make some low level stuff right? It's obvious that we are going to end up with something that is clearly a trouble for everyone.

I think it's very important to make a distinction of this league and other leagues. Teams at the top level here, make so much money that, at certain point some of them worth 1 billion dollars, imagine that. This is why I believe we shouldn't be shocked that they would make huge transfers as well. Even the fact that City got Haaland for "just" 75 million and that was seen as nearly free by people, tells all the story.

To be honest, United had a bit more serious team compared to Liverpool. Liverpool had the upfront ready but the back was a bit different. In any case, it's still a good result, beating Liverpool 4-0 in anything is a good result, even if it's just a friendly. I know for a fact that United will be better this year. Because, they want it more this year.

Last year's failure left a bitter mark on their history and they do not want the same thing to happen again, this is why the players looking to be working harder, they are not giving up easily, and they are fired up. When a team plays with 100%, that team usually overachieves what people expect them to do and they are destined to do that this year.

Yes, I totally agree with this. The team shows a little improvement now which is better than they played back in April and May in the last season. Erik Ten Hag is bringing discipline and a different mentality to the squad, they now chase and try to win the ball back when they lose it, and everyone is now running and putting their heads in the game. Although the game was much like a friendly they showed good character throughout the game.

Even it is still too early to say that, apart from the defeat with such a striking score it is still pre-season and indeed both teams are still looking for a good composition and even if we look at how many Liverpool core players have started.
But I like things like this because even though this is a first step but at least this can be a reference for the league next season.

Why do Arsenal and Man United try to sign Kante? They must know he is a key player for Chelsea, it is almost impossible to sign him. As far as I know, Chelsea has no other defensive midfielder that has the same capability as Kante. Even if they have Jorginho, Jorginho still can't play at the same level as Kante. I am really sure that Chelsea won't lose another key player after they lost Rudiger. Chelsea must be aware that they must keep the quality and the quantity of their squad if they still want to compete for the title in the next season.

They must have already known about this. Kante is one of the crucial players for Chelsea at the moment. However Arsenal and Manchester United both want to consolidate their defense. Especially Manchester United are in a bigger need now because Pogba has left the team. If they don't bring a strong player to the midfield they will stay weak there. They were already bad defensively last season and this would make things even worse. However Manchester United are interested in Frenkie de Jong more seriously now.

Friendly matches are like the adjustment of new players to old players. Manchester United under Erik coaching has indeed received quite a positive response from the Red Devils fans because since Ferguson departure there has been no coach who has been able to provide a historical milestone for Manchester United, maybe we can hope that Erik can bring Manchester United back to the top of the standings next season.

Talking about targets for next season, I'm sure the Manchester United fans really hope that Erik can bring Manchester United to the top 4 and bring Manchester United back to the Champions League.

With their performance against Liverpool even though this is only a pre-season it will still be a good thing and expectations are quite high from Manchester United.
Ten Hag is currently carrying out a mission which is actually quite difficult in the hope of reaching a higher league with the condition of the players still not optimal even though they are quite good in terms of names and individuals.
But if we look at this there's actually a bit of hope with young players and it looks like Sancho is starting to be trusted now.

Paulo will be a good option I just can't wait to see the season kick off. If they get it done I'll be happy to see Dybala at Manchester United Left footed players like him are unpredictable, but if he comes, what's up for Mason Greenwood when he returns and Amad Diallo ?

Mason Greenwood's career is already over. He isn't returning to football anymore. You must have heard about the scandal related to him. When it comes to Amad Diallo, he was on loan at Rangers FC but he didn't find many chances to play either. There is no way he is becoming a part of the starting eleven at Manchester United as well. As a result I don't see him as a rival to Dybala now. Dybala wouldn't have problem on being in the starting eleven but I wonder how he would play in a completely different league.

It will be a plus if Dybala is joining Manchester United but it would definitely will be a good signing if they can get Dybala to join them. He's very good and i think he will fit right in the team if he joins, though Italian football seems a little different but I have the feeling he will be able to cope and blend in quickly. The competition he will face if he joins will not be Diallo rather he will have Sancho to compete with. The aim of bringing him to the team is to create competition right so that will play fine for United.

It's just that Chelsea lost some time in the transfer market due to the change of ownership, but this does not mean that the club did not deal with such issues at all and the club immediately began to act actively when there was some clarity in the management structure of the club and clarity in financial matters about the estimated budget of the team. I wouldn't rule out Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United in the top 4, but about the title I think Manchester City will still be first. I don't think they will play badly or sacrifice the Premier League for the Champions League this season, but yes anything is possible even if at the moment they are still the best in the Premier League "in the last 5 seasons at least".

My top 4 picks are: Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. Whatever people say, that's my choice this season.

Newcastle are said to be after Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak now. He is one of the skilled young strikers I believe. He is an important player for Real Sociedad currently so it won't be easy for Newcastle to sign him. By the way there was a drop in his performance last season but he is still only 22 years old. He is open to improve himself I mean. The Premier League can be a good place for him to shine too. It is a tougher league but I believe he can improve his game at Newcastle.

Koulibaly move to Chelsea is still a shocking move to me. Few days ago, the Senegalese was keen on contract extension with Napoli and now he's in Stamford bridge. He's blues new centre back, then lost defenders in the transfer window, and they they got a new centre back, not just a centre back but also one with the capacity to maintain good conduct with his teammates. He always do better on the pitch and he kind of have this kind of tackling strive that always meet up his target. He will impressed blues fans and I can't wait to see him start games in Stamford bridge.

At least this can be a pretty good target considering that in this case the title position in the first season is indeed quite difficult, but indeed when looking at the top 4 positions I don't think it's grandiose for them especially with the squad they have actually quite good though indeed need adjustments from the right tactics and strategies there.
