At least there is still captain César Azpilicueta who was previously rumored to be joining Barcelona but in fact the transaction did not happen and also, there is an addition in attack like Raheem Sterling who has good pace too. I think depending he has played for Cehlsea on pre season match will make César Azpilicueta keep extended with Chelsea or playing for Barcelona. Nowadays not have rumors or Barcelona official announcement to get César Azpilicueta from Chelsea, just Barcelona active in wo dow transfer with forward position.

I really don’t think that Barcelona is planning to make any more transfers this season because they have already spent a lot of money which they probably shouldn’t have. If Barcelona is looking to sign him, I am very concerned that the transfer might not work even if Barcelona wants it. Don’t get me wrong. Barcelona really needs defenders in the team, but Barcelona was so caught up in getting attackers in the team. They did not worry too much about the defense which was probably the weakest part of the Barcelona team right now.

A player as ambitious as Ronaldo cannot be blamed for leaving Manchester United if they  are unable to improve the team and assure him of a shot at competing in Europe for Gold and silverwares.
