It was totally awkward situation. After he subbed off he left the stadium, that means he's not okay with all of this. Whole situation is weird, he wanted to go but none of these teams that play in Champions League want him so he had no option but to stay right now.
Erik ten Hag can't do much with a player who don't want to be there, the best they can do is to find a club before the season starts. Unhappy players make whole crowd unhappy. Even if it is Ronaldo, teams shouldn't make an exception. It's a big problem for Manchester United that this issue is still not resolved.

I see Ten Hag a little disappointed with the way Man United play. Even their game tends to wait, Man United don't do much pressing.
Then Ronaldo problem was finally answered. His selfishness seemed unanswered to get a new club. It even seems that the rumors of Ke Atletico are opposed by Atletico fans.

Despite not scoring in the first half, Manchester United took a 1-0 lead with Diallo's goal at the beginning of the second half. Still they could not win the match. The match was drawn 1-1. Even though Ronaldo was present in the match, his performance was very poor. Manchester United's overall performance was not good. If they perform like this, it is doubtful whether they can be in the top 4 of the Premier League points table. Ronaldo will be United's main striker next season. United's performance will not be good if Ronaldo does not play well.

Personally, I had no excitement over the return of Ronaldo to Old Trafford. He may have received a standing ovation from fans and supporters and I guess that’s okay. He’s a great and valuable player in the team and would obviously be received with standing ovation.
In my opinion, he really wasn’t missed during the pre season matches and Manchester United held their ground and played very well all without him. Now that he’s back, he barely made much of an impact on the outcome of the match between Rayo Vallecano.

The main problem is that Cristiano Ronaldo feels like he is not getting the respect that he deserves. He is still one of the top players in the world. It is true that he is not going to play better as he ages more and more. But it is sad to see that no big team is trying to get him on the team. Also, it is understandable why big teams do not want him.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not a player who is washed. He is still a great player and he is the one who basically held the Manchester United team together in the last season. And as a star player, he can obviously expect some things from the coach. But the coach is obviously obligated to think about what is right for the team. It is quite possible that the coach is not inclined to think like Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cr7 should get all the respect as he deserve it. It's easy to judge from our position but he already proved the world everything they asked from him so it was kinda normal for him to ask for better performance from both the players but also the board of United.  He also has an age when he knows time is not ticking in his favor anymore so he wants to play to a top level until he feels that his body won't sustain him the same like it used to be but Cr7 might play beyond 40 years old to a high level. Now , his comeback on pitch was a sign that he trust Ten Haag and this is an important step from both of them as this means , they know what they want from each other and man ...I hope United will be back on top where they belong.

Congratulations to Liverpool on winning their first trophy this season. The most important task for coach Klopp seems to be to patch the hole after Sadio Mane and yesterday we saw that it seems to have succeeded.

A big congratulations to the Reds on their first trophy of the season, it was a very interesting match because beating Manchester city is not an easy ob. But i still know that Liverpool will miss Sadio Mane because when League resume fully, they will know the exact work Mane is capable of doing though I know they can succeed without him but they will defiantly feel different playing without him.
Liverpool are now suffering defeat in their last preseason match against Strasbourg, I hope it wouldn't be a defeat in their last preseason match.

Manchester United had a pre-season tour some time ago, in training and match we didn't see Cristiano there, this raised public opinion about his desire to stay or leave. The failure of Manchester United to qualify for the UCL became the main ingredient for the emergence of hot news about Cristiano Ronaldo. In the end all rumors of his departure have been debunked after seeing him return to the pitch in the match against Rayo Vallecano a few hours ago. This is good news for red devil fans.

As you said, this match was quite boring but on the other hand it doesn't really matter I think considering that in this case MU is dominated by low-level players and young players there because if we look at only Varane, Eriksen and Ronaldo who are old enough there.
I think it's still good enough for them regardless of the result but I feel there's some good talent there that's showing.

The community shield final was a thriller to watch both teams played well but Liverpool dominated in the game. The other time, Liverpool is much more balanced, the players have this chemistry amongst themselves already, great team work also because they made just a few additions to the squad. Though I expected Manchester City to do better than they did but I will give kudos to Liverpool they did a great job, good finishing for Nunez and great work from Salah, they deserved the win.

Well at least we still understand that as a new player Haaland still needs adaptation sometimes every player need time to understand other player's character
The result of this match cannot be used as a benchmark for Haaland's failure we have to see him in the next few games as an expensive player of course he has more ability.

I think Erling Haaland is arguably a better striker than Nunez but we have to admit that Nunez has had a very good start to his career in England. Haaland's performance will undoubtedly improve if Manchester City manages to adapt their chaotic play structure to the classic number 9 Erling Haaland.

Jürgen Klopp has now also won the community shield cup with yesterday's 3-1 against manchester city. so he has now won all the competitions that can be won in english and international football at least 1x - congratulations to the german coach, who continues to fit very well with his mentality to fc liverpool

Liverpool are so lucky or I would say blessed to have such a coach like Jürgen Klopp, he's a specialist in the game and has achieved so much since joining Liverpool, not a lot of coaches come to the premier league and succeed like Klopp. His ability to select good players in every transfer window baffles me, how he knows the right players for each position and players that will suit his kind of football and style of play, indeed he's a good coach.

It's a pre-season match so I don't expect a very competitive game because the managers of both team will use the opportunity to test some of their new signings and young players to take a decision whether to loan some of them or not like Amad and Garnacho, some manager uses the opportunity of pre-season matches to check out how the old players will blend with the young ones, when EPL commences next weekend we will watch a much better Man Utd when they play Brighton in their league match, I am sure the noises about Ronaldo transfer saga must have subsided.

I believe Arsenal's attacking power will be on and as we've seen in friendlies they can do a good start in the league. I expect at least two goals -possibly more- from them. Jesus and Saka will probably carry the team in attack. Bookmakers will probably give good odds to Arsenal's handicap win. I won't miss this bet if the odds are above 2.50.

Truthfully, this game isn't easy to predict. Crystal Palace defeated Arsenal by a big score like 3-0 in this stadium last season. They have some psychological advantage I mean. However it is up to Arsenal to take revenge. They are better in terms of squad quality compared to last season. They would aim higher in the league this time. Maybe their opponent here can make difficulties for them again but this time I think Arsenal will manage to win and start decently.

Chill mate, its a pre season game and it doesnt really matter. Ronaldo hasnt been playing with the team for quite some time so there is no reason to push him to play for full 90 minutes in a pre season game. Wether he is happy about it or not, it doesnt matter because with Ten Hag around then he is not going to be considered as 'special 'anymore so he has to earn his place in the lineup if he wants it

It is always easy to judge players when they make mistakes, when they perform poorly or fail to score goals and even move to different clubs. Ronaldo deserves respect ,he has proven himself for years, in different leagues scoring goals, piling up person achievements and breaking records, I don't think he has anything else to prove. Even at his age he still won't stop scoring, he's probably still in the squad because he trusts Erik Ten Hag's plans, Manchester United fans should be happy about that and be appreciative.

We have to distinguish that now, Last season especially at the beginning of the season Arsenal was one of the clubs that could be called a clown because indeed they were like a group of children playing football but now they are very different because indeed they are like a superior club thanks to some the signing of players they did so something like last season I don't think will happen this season.

They are both fantastic strikers with very impressive numbers for their former teams, they have both moved to England, with each signing for one the two main rivals for the EPL title, hence the reason why the comparison between the two strikers is a hot debate over the internet for weeks now, but tbh, i would try not to compare them, i think their styles differ a little bit, and they are playing for teams who approach the game in a different manner.

Having said that, whilst i believe Haaland will definitely adapt and score lots and lots of goals, i kinda fear for him more than i do for Nunez, Guardiola is known to be a tinkerer and a 'football philosopher', it might prolly just take Haaland a little longer to get to play in the Pep style, i might be wrong, and i honestly hope i am wrong, but it is a possibility. Liverpool just play direct football, and that won't take Nunez time to understand, he will enjoy that type of pattern as many balls will find its way to him in the box, we just have to wait and see who comes out on top at the end of the season.
