A fantastic 1st half performance from Liverpool, and a horrible 2nd one. We were lucky to get all the points tonight, but should have put the game to bed before Kane's goal.

Our 1st away win in the PL this season, let's build on that, win against Southampton at Anfield and then regroup after the World Cup.
The season's still long and we have 3 trophies left to play for, but a finish in the top 4 must be secured as well.

Surprised we managed to beat Spurs. Hanging on a bit at the end there but great win away against a good team. Hopefully we can beat Southampton next weekend & head into the World Cup in better form. Be nice to have a good break & then come back to try & get a little momentum, try & squeeze in the top 4.

Liverpool had a very good game today. I hope they can build momentum from this win and get back to winning ways. It would be nice for them to win their upcoming matches before going to the world cup.

This match was so monotonous for Manchester United even though they needed a goal but their performance did not show anything good until this 40th minute.
The 2 goals at the beginning of the first half were a bit disappointing in this match, even though they are very well ahead especially with their condition which has always received quite good results over the last few matches.

Injuries are really a big problem for Man United. They have to play without four first-team players as in this match (Bruno Fernandes can't play because he's already got 5 yellow cards, while others are injured). Man United's performance has improved before halftime and I think they still have a chance to catch up, it's just that they have to stay alert for the counterattack from Aston Villa, moreover, some of the Aston Villa players have a pretty fast pace.

And in the end they had to lose 3-1 at the end of the game. Losing a main player does affect them, moreover they are still struggling to create a team that can really be trusted in every game. They got 1 goal in this game and it was an own goal from Aston Villa's player. Manchester United are better, but their bad habits from last season are still with them even with their new coach. I can't think of what could actually be the motivation for this team, because they are always changing in every game, they can play well against strong teams, but they can also play badly against weak teams. This is completely beyond logic.

Tottenham 0:2 Liverpool
With the starting lineup of both Tottenham and Liverpool that I saw, it is obvious that Liverpool is going to win Tottenha. Notable finishers of Tottenham are missing in this match, players like Richarlison, Luka modric and Son are nowhere to be found.
Honestly,  it is going to be a hard game for Tottenham if they have a draw in the match it is a good result for them

I am very happy when Liverpool can win again this week and I am happy when I see Mohamed Salah score again even it is 2 goals that he created and sealed a 1-2 win over hosts Tottenham. Jurgen Klopp's men managed to play well in this match and could end their 2 defeats. I think Liverpool and Manchester United are in a similar situation now. Yes, if we compare them, we will find one similarity in their match results against strong teams and weak teams. I don't want to see Liverpool following in the footsteps of Manchester United.

Emery taking over at Aston Villa is a positive development, yeah we all know about Emery's effect on teams. His time at Arsenal wasn't a long one but it was productive, I expect same productivity at Aston Villa. Certainly Aston Villa will improve under Emery and be a successful team. We saw a glimpse of this improvement in the game today against Manchester United, Kudos to Emery.

Aston Villa's performance in Emery's debut was really very good, especially considering the opponent is Manchester United who are very seeded.
Hopefully this will not only be a debut for Emery and Aston Villa because they still need a win to improve their current position.

Liverpool made many fans more confident after their win with Spurs although in the second half there were a lot of attacks and Harry Kane pulled one back but in the end Liverpool managed to hold on with the score 1-2 until the end while Spurs became frustrated again because again the position was threatened and Newcastle took over by one point.

We can only see one more week for the EPL the rest of us will head to the World Cup with a great party, not long after the World Cup the league will start again so we don't wait any longer and it looks like the football match will continue as our entertainment.

Arsenal are just incredible right now!

I was wondering whether they would lose points in a big away game again just as they did against Manchester United. But it looks like Arsenal have learned their lesson well from that loss. Their performance was really dominant against Chelsea. Even when the times Chelsea were trying to apply pressure on the front, Arsenal players were very comfortable about turning the situation into a counter-attack one with great passes with each other. Arsenal's goal was due to Chelsea's defensive mistake as well. Two players and the goalkeeper missed the ball and it was easy for Gabriel to finish it. G. Jesus tried his best also but this was another game he couldn't score any goal.

Liverpool managed to win matches against Manchester City and Tottenham with good performances. But unfortunately, in other matches they look too easy to drop points as they have experienced so far this season. If Liverpool's performance is consistent like this, then I don't think they deserve to be in 8th place in 13 match for 5 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses.

For the next match, I want to see if they manage to beat Southamton who should be safe to choose Liverpool to win. If Liverpool lose and drop points then I think most people here have to miss a lot of their match.

A good start, era and debut performance from Emery I hope he will be consistent in subsequent matches, it's been long Aston Villa defeated Man Utd on their home ground precisely since 27 years ago it's remarkable and well deserved win thus pushed Aston Villa through to 13th position on the table, Man Utd was very poor today and Erik Ten Hag playing Ronaldo as well captain the team couldn't make any positive impact, their defence wasn't solid I think since Varane got injured that defence line had been struggling likewise their midfield was nothing to write home about today.

Indeed it was surprising seeing how Manchester United lost all their chances to defeat Aston Villa that all other teams are defeating both home and away but the Red Devils found it difficult to do the same and not only that, Aston Villa scored 3 goals under their first 48 minutes.
Out of all the top teams that are under performing this season, Manchester United have more chance of making it to top 4 but it seems the more they approach the top the more they do some regrettable mistakes else if not for today mistakes, they should be ahead of Tottenham today after they failed to defeat Liverpool but even with that, Liverpool are still far behind.

I wouldn't say Aston Villa's performance was unexpected. Manchester United's performance has been unstable since the beginning of the season. They cannot consistently perform well. And though they have earned points in a few matches. But I don't think their performance was very good.
Manchester United's performance in today's match was bad. The main reason for the poor performance of the players seems to me to be their tactical weakness. Their match strategy was not good, so the performance of the players was also poor. Ronaldo was in the squad today but he flopped as usual. Ronaldo did not play well. Because Ronaldo's chemistry with team players is not good. So it is difficult for Ronaldo to perform well.

This is the right time to come back in the track. If Liverpool plays seriously, I hope they will be able to secure their position in top four. In this season Arsenal and Manchester City are playing so good and I think it will be running for both team. Besides, New Castle is performing continuously and they have a lot to show in their upcoming matches.

Theirs nobody that will believe that Aston villa will defeat Manchester united, because everyone knows the strength of Manchester united, so Aston villa just surprised everyone, even me I'm astonished concerning the wining, i don't have anyone to be blame in that in Manchester united, but i only tagged it as luck.

The reality today is that Manchester United didn't live up to all the fans' expectations. They lost surprisingly after in the last few matches appear rather satisfactory. Aston Villa turned out to be different, they controlled the first half and the beginning of the second half and managed to punish Manchester United by not scoring through their own players without an own goal Jacob Ramsey.

Without Varane it looks like Martinez is not really able to keep his defense perfectly so Manchester United must concede 3 goals in this match. So it's true that Aston Villa really shouldn't be underestimated even if they have been inconsistent so far.

Liverpool had a very good game today. I hope they can build momentum from this win and get back to winning ways. It would be nice for them to win their upcoming matches before going to the world cup.

Yeah they did have a very good game, but Liverpool are yet to convince me this season. Even after a big win like this one, i still do not trust Liverpool to start winning and make a good run in the league, Spurs know very well how to crumble when they meet a big team, they lack character and they cannot dig deep to get victories, i never expected them to beat Liverpool, but i thought they would at least get a draw from this game. Sometimes i wonder what Conte tells his players before the start of every game, their initial approach is always to be very cautious and wait for a break, they won't win trophies in that way. Having said that, Liverpool are definitely not in the title race, thus they just have to continue fighting and see whether they can make the top four, though it would be extremely difficult for them.

There was no need to meet a prophet to predict Chelsea and Arsenal match. When I entered the football hall and when the match as stated I just knew that Arsenal would win the match. This is one of the match that players received yellow cards.
Arsenal possession of ball was very much okay and stable in the midfield.

Not that Tottenham played badly in this match. But they had several mistakes. Their attack is still not strong enough. Son is not in form, if he is in form, Tottenham's attacking speed will increase. Gradually, Tottenham is losing their position in the points table. They have lost three of their last four matches.

In this match, Arsenal once again proved that they are a team that deserves to be champions. Chelsea played fully defensively throughout the match. Their sole aim was to counter Arsenal's attacks and draw the match goalless. But the performance of Arsenal's players was very good. They managed to win the match 1-0. And 2 points ahead of Manchester City.
