Chelsea are having a tough week, after in the previous two games humiliated Brighton and Arsenal, Chelsea will be challenged by Manchester City in the EFL Cup and Newcastle in the EPL. The next two games are very challenging for Potter, he must bring Chelsea to bounce back from two consecutive defeats, but Manchester City and Newcastle can make things difficult for Chelsea.

Chelsea chances of getting back into the top four are very small because Newcastle are in their best form. Newcastle have always been impressive in the last 9 matches, Newcastle goals are also very good. It’s not easy to be a LFC fan right now I assume, being the team that was second in EPL and finalist in UCL means even though you didn't really win anything, you were almost winning two major titles and just at the start of next season you start to suck and be bad. Tottenham have wasted chances at home, it should have been a very fair draw for both teams, as a result of poor performances from Tottenham's players cost them points at home. As a result of this defeat, Tottenham are further behind from Arsenal, now Tottenham are 8 points away from Arsenal who are at the top of the standings and 6 points behind Manchester City who are in second place.

I think that it might be worth giving Newcastle a chance to win this game. Because they have been on a wonderful run and they are in a much better shape than Chelsea now. I know that Chelsea beat them in their last 4 head-to-head games. But this season is different obviously. Chelsea are still struggling to be back on track. The Arsenal loss will make things even worse for them mentally. Newcastle can get a win here I believe. But it would be by a small margin such as 2-1.
