We don't have a thread for the League Cup? Maybe it's not even needed, just hope I'm not off-topic by a lot.

I was really annoyed by Liverpool's lineup yesterday, when we're doing badly in the league and we've drawn Madrid in the CL, I want us to attack the domestic cups more than we did before.

We needed penalties against a lower division team at home, luckily we won. I really hope we won't be playing with kids anymore - at least not this season.

Your next game will still be at home facing a side playing same football pattern as Liverpool which involves higher pressing and intensity from start of the game to the very end. Yesterday, I was able to predict a full time draw for Liverpool against derby county and what made me lose the bet was Sevilla last night.

I still feel that the fixture for Liverpool Southampton will end as a full time draw on Saturday just as it was last night against Derby County

I'm pretty sure of Jurgen Klopp giving those youngins a start during the weekend, it's also Gon be a good chance for those who haven't played more game's and also missed out on the FIFA World Cup selection from them respective countries. Jurgen Klopp needs backing and funds to get some quality players, especially two in midfied and a good replacement.

And what's even more interesting is that in the near future Newcastle United will play at home against Chelsea, I think this is a very interesting match to watch even though Chelsea have fallen behind and are in seventh place in the standings, but Chelsea will still trying to get full points despite playing at home to Newcastle United, but what I'm surprised is the defense of the Newcastle United team is so good lately that it makes every opponent who meets Newcastle United difficult to win the game.

Unpredictable with Newcastle United reach until top fourth standing right now and actually special with Newcastle have solid defense area by conceded 11 goals until 14 games in Primer League, Manchester City one position above have conceded 12 goals from 13 games and seems Newcastle United have great perform in this season. Last match before World Cup, Newcastle have opportunity finish at 3rd standing awhile if success defeat Chelsea, actually not any special thing with the blues perform in this season under Graham Potter, 2 draw and 2 loss from last four matches have bad perform with Chelsea.

Yes, Newcastle are unbeaten at home so far and in fact, Newcastle have only lost once so far. Also, given that many Chelsea players are still injured, I personally wouldn't doubt that Newcastle will still get the full points in the final match for the first half of the season.
Newcastle have really had a very good performance so far and even, Manchester City which is basically the most powerful team in the title challengers was not able to beat Newcastle.

Therefore, because at this moment Chelsea are not doing well, then a victory for Newcastle is likely to happen. I think Arteta would be very upset if the reserves could win and Arsenal had to come out in the next round  It seems to me that while Arsenal are so high in the Premier League, the team will be focused only on this tournament. They don't have the depth of a lineup to seriously compete in multiple tournaments.

My concern for Arsenal this season is that Arteta's players are not balanced between those in the first squad and the reserves. If faced with several competitions, it can certainly make it difficult for Arteta if faced with injuries that will be received by his players.
Hopefully the defeat in the EFL CUP is not a loss that is allowed or intentional in order to focus on the Premier League and Champions League.

The GUNNERS are really putting on a  good impression and I think last night loss against Brighton should actually be put back. They should continue their good form because for now I think they are only team that can handle the heat Manchester City is bringing to league.


Arsenal have not contested for the league title for long now and I think this year they can actually get a short at it, that's only  if arteta can be sure to straighten up his boys and continue their current form

Liverpool are going to play against Southampton in Anfield this week. They got a really important win against Tottenham in an away game the last time. This must have boosted their morale on a large scale. Southampton are in a pretty bad condition. They are one of the teams in the relegation zone as well. They have huge weaknesses in defense and this should make things much easier for Liverpool.

Liverpool really need a lasting winning streak to recover. This is a big chance to increase their current winning streak to 2 games. They should be able to destroy Southampton.

Arsenal will get an easy opponent next week, they will face Wolves FC who are now in 19th place in the provisional standings. It will be an ideal opponent for Arsenal to be able to get 3 points easily. Even though they play away, Wolves FC is not a strong team even if they play at home. I think we have good enough squad to challenge others at any competitions. Obviously EPL will be on top of that list but Arteta has good chance to lead Arsenal to deep stages in other competitions and maybe win them as well. Fitness will be main challenge so that might change the priorities but I still feel that we have good backup options in all positions just in case our best players get injured.

On paper, this match shouldn't be too much of a problem for Liverpool. But considering Liverpool have not been consistent until now is something that is seen as a problem in the Liverpool camp. Their current enemy is not another team, but their own performances which keep repeating the mistakes that make it difficult for them to get full points in the few games they play. Southampton are worse than Liverpool in many ways, so if they had to lose this game it would be a huge shame for Jurgen Klopp.

Last time Arsenal won Primer League at season 2001/2002 with invincible record without beaten in 38 games, almost twenty years Arsenal without won Primer League tittle and I think most long time waiting by their fans. This season still running many games left and I think Arsenal have chance and potential to get back Primer League tittle, but problem inconsistent is problem faced by Arsenal on every season, always at the top standing position first half season but when League almost ended Arsenal faced difficult can finish on top fourth standing.

If Arsenal can consistent in this season not only with Champion League ticket achievement but also have chance for Arsenal win Primer League after twenty years ago.

We will not underestimate Southampton even though they are in the relegation zone sometimes it is always another surprise which I think it will be their defeat, on the other hand we believe Liverpool will step up everything in this week's game and Anfield will be the best place for them to win it so we will not dissolve in its instability.

I know Klopp as a coach will know what to do to recover from his previous game last season, to be honest in my opinion now the striker who is the mainstay is in confinement in terms of injury.

If look at the position in the standings, I think Arsenal will have no trouble add +3 points in the next match.
If we look at Wolverhampton's statistics especially in the premier league, their performance cannot be compare with Arsenal. From of a total of 14 match played, Wolves have averaged a loss and a draw, it is very rare to see them win a match in the premier league this season. A draw is still possible even though the chances are quite small

I hope this not out off topic. Arsenal lost 1-3 at home against Brighton. The game was an EFL competition. This defeat ensured they failed to advance in the next round. If you look at players, Arteta has a lot of reserve players to field. It looks like Arteta wants to increase the playing hours of reserve players and rest other players. This indicates Arteta doesn't really want to win in the EFL.

But I do agree with you because considering that their current condition is more correct, they don't participate in many competitions which will really be a hassle because for me personally for them this season in the Europa League and the EPL title race has been very good.

It looks like Arsenal are very likely to maintain their winning streak by this week's match as well. They are going to have an away match vs Wolves.

Arsenal defeated them in their last two meets too. Wolves are just horrible this season. They finished the previous season at the 10th place. But there is a huge decrease in their performance now. They got only two wins after leaving fourteen weeks behind. I think that they have a very low chance to get even one point vs Arsenal. Because Arsenal are like their complete opposite now. They are still leader in the league table. The Chelsea win recently should be helpful for them to be extra motivated. I don't expect any mistakes here.

This is the last game before they have a long holiday and it still has to be 3 points for Arsenal even if they play away in this match.
The opportunity is very big for Arsenal because in addition to Wolves currently still not able to develop the game, they (Arsenal) now still have to continue to get points to secure the temporary position that is still attached to Manchester City.
and if you look at them today in the EFL Cup there doesn't seem to be any disturbance for the main squad now as it is certain they will be fit for the game against Wolves.

The wolves do not have the ability to stop Arsenal. Arsenal is a very strong team. On the other hand,Wolves ios now in the relegation zone. They have won only 2 out of 14 matches. And Wolves' main weakness is their very fragile defense. On the other hand, Arsenal's attacking players are still in excellent form. So I don't see the Wolves as a strong opponent for Arsenal at the moment. And I think Arsenal will win against the Wolves even with their second-tier squad.

The problem with Manchester United is not only the change of coach or having a player as a coach but the management of the club is also poor since the beginning of last season, Manchester United has not really been acting right and even the transfer window the season was not properly utilized this season.

Actually this has become an open secret and many of the fans do not like the current management of Manchester United especially for their current owners.
Fans think that the Glazer Family are just making as much profit as possible without wanting to seriously fix the team's problems and even a few months ago there were rumors that they were going to let Manchester United go but this news has gone quiet.
I personally feel they are much better now than last season but still can't expect much from them.

There is no problem with that at all because Chelsea are in a really bad condition these days. They are still struggling to win matches and their current streak is 4 weeks now. Potter is so desperate as he can't find a way to make this team stand up and fight. They aren't like this only against big teams in the league. It is the same against smaller ones as well.

In this situation, I just can't deny the fact that Newcastle are quite likely to defeat them in this match. They have defeated not only average but also big teams in the league so far. While Chelsea are in a bad shape this is a nice chance for Newcastle to get another win and make their winning streak five matches.

Firing Tuchel and replacing him with Potter is actually not the right solution for Boehly. I'm sure Chelsea will suffer a setback and it will be very difficult to compete for the title.

Now Potter is starting to feel great pressure at Stamford Bridge. This happened after the Blues only won one game from the last five Premier League matches. Chelsea management will certainly regret its decision if the Blues have to finish outside the top four standings.

This decision is a bit rushed but I wouldn't say it's a setback for Chelsea when they can't compete for the title because in fact even when Tuchel is there they can't compete for the title. Last season they were in 3rd position with a difference of 19 points from Manchester City, the previous season in 2020/2021 they were also in 4th position with a point difference which was still the same (Very far) and that cannot be said to be competing for the championship.
Now they can still keep fighting because I still feel that their target is still the same in the top 4, nothing more than that and I'm pretty sure Potter can still compete in this position.
