Even though Manchester City is currently in second place under Arsenal, there is still the potential to get first place again. They have strength that only relies on Erling Haaland and many teams already know his strategy. I think that Erling Haaland has a great physique, and it is not going to be very hard for him to stay in shape. But the problem is he will not be playing in any competition at all. That again sometime causes problems. We are just overthinking this situation though. I think he will be okay. He will probably need one or two matches to get in his rhythm. Other than that if he can keep his shape and stay healthy I don’t think he is going to face too many problems when the club competition resumes.

If we equate these two teams in the quality of players, of course Liverpool has more advantages because the Liverpool squad is filled with star players. Therefore for this season we only look at the quality of the teams from the standings. I don't have to admit who is the best at guarding  consistent in every match but that has been proven by every victory won by newcastle united. Maybe after the league resumes after the world cup is over and we will see a change in the rankings in the standings for this season as some teams will come back to strengthen the squad by bringing in some players in the winter.

It's true that Erling Haaland will have a long and comfortable resting place while enjoying the World Cup, so I don't think this will reduce Haaland's performance because he doesn't participate in this competition, he will definitely stay fit and maintain stable stamina to return to the Premier League even after the world cup is over the second week the league starts, of course this will be very hard for other players because they are chasing targets that must be played non-stop.
I never had any doubts for Haaland because he will be consistently scoring goals again in the Premier League with Manchester City.

Even though he won't be playing in the World Cup he will still get the necessary portion of training to keep up his form. All the players who didn't take part in their World Cup will do the same. If the World Cup is a benchmark for assessing player performance after it's over, then how many players who didn't play at the World Cup will play decreased as is feared.

Mikel Arteta really took good time to top the league table since other teams are regaining their form for this season. Arsenal are gapping Manchester city with few points and gunners looking very much alive to beat more teams inother to maintain their position on the table. Newcastle United seems to be looking for players who are not so famous, but that's a decision that in my opinion is not good enough in my opinion, I hope that Newcastle United can at least bring in reliable attacking players to help break down the opponent's goal, in the January transfer market, and players  attacking midfielder to help Newcastle United's attackers, at least that's what Newcastle United might have to fix.  so they don't lose points in the middle of this season..

One month of rest won't be enough to change a players performance and besides nothing stops Haaland from training at Etihad Stadium while he waits for the world cup to end. He will be more fit with stronger stamina and renewed energy because there will be no room for injuries and fatigue as he will only rely on solo exercise and trainings.

As for Haalands scoring consistency i will say ManCity is becoming so unpredictable i don't know what will become of Haaland's consistency in scoring more goals for ManCity but one thing is sure he will be more contributive when the season returns from the world cup.

It's also worth noting that for each game week, the Gunners have managed to remain at the top. Like was observed, it's a norm for them to start being unserious and losing to small teams who naturally they shouldn't lose to but I guess Arteta's willing to learn from his past mistakes.

Here I have to agree with you because as they are playing most chances they can stay into top four and this could be turning point for them as they have new management in start of this season they promise about good and quality improvements which are currently happening and their result showing they can do good end of this season which will surely bring few quality players in this squad as well in next summer transfer window.

Right now, their performance is impressive even they have not big been naming in soccer world but too many options are under review which are going to be discussed and most chances good names are also under review, but all are waiting for this year's results which is surely impressive.

Newcastle could well be at the very top in England in a few years. Manchester also started the same way by having a major sponsor make major investments. And Newcastle's sponsor owner is much, much richer. They could essentially build the strongest team in the world, but for now they will have to get players who don't have a base at top clubs. Newcastle united is a team with a fairly healthy finances so it is very likely that they will buy players in this winter window. Eddie Howe may not be the type of coach who buys big name players or star players but Eddie Howe is a coach who looks for multi-talented players in small team teams. This is evident from last season's transfer window, Eddie Howe only brought in players with low clause values. But seeing that the EPL this season is so tight, I think Eddie can look for players who have better quality to be able to maintain their ranking in the standings until the end of the competition.

Let's see what they can do after the World Cup. Will their appearance increase or vice versa. I hope it's a matter of time, because as you said they are the team that usually tops the table. This is what I like about the Premier League, that there are so many teams that can surprise us like Newcastle did at the moment. Even a few seasons ago we were surprised by Leicester who managed to win and win the title.
