A lot of speculation has developed regarding Ronaldo's next port club after Manchester United terminated the contract by mutual agreement. Besides Chelsea, Newcastle and Real Madrid are also rumored to be Ronaldo's next club after the World Cup is over. For me these 3 clubs are not suitable for this Portugal captain if he wants the best because the Premier League and La Liga are tough leagues that require extra physicality considering he is 37 years old.

I think there is a league that is suitable for Cristiano Ronaldo to continue his professional football career, namely Ligue 1 or return to Portugal by strengthening the club he started his career at.

On the other hand I have a feeling that if Ronaldo manages to help Portugal win the World Cup, then he will announce his retirement from football.

While you are saying "the Ligue 1" I guess you mean that PSG would be an option for Ronaldo.

I don't expect such transfer to happen honestly. Because PSG already have great stars in their attacking line. If we add Ronaldo there too then PSG manager Galtier can have difficulties in making his choices. This time maybe Ronaldo can have problems with him and he would go back to the point he started. In the end one of the biggest reasons he wanted to leave was Erik ten Hag's not giving him enough chance in the starting eleven.

Why are there so much speculation about Ronaldo's next club, at least the star player is approaching his retirement age in football, so his next destination is the least thing to him now.
I don't believe Ronaldo will opt into a failing club.
I think the premier league this season may be Ronaldo's last premiere league outing, and to a good extent, Ronaldo made a mark already so he can walk away from Manchester United happily.

Yes, Sporting CP is one that might sign Ronaldo but I'm not sure at this point if Ronaldo is really ready to return to his early professional team. I tend to think that Serie A, Bundesliga or Ligue 1 will sign Ronaldo in the second half of the season, but it's always possible to see him playing outside of Europe.

If I had to choose, I would prefer Ronaldo to Ligue 1 for PSG or Serie A for Napoli. These two teams are good for his career. But if Ronaldo wants to stay in the Premier League then he may have to listen to offers from Chelsea or Newcastle who are rumored to be interested.

On this source, it is said that Newcastle have no interest in bringing Ronaldo to the team in January. I was surprised to hear about this when I first read it truthfully. Currently the Chelsea leadership is still trying to bring in this player even though there is little opposition from Potter on this matter and the chances are clearly still there if you look at conditions like this. As for Madrid, they will not see players who are old in my opinion because if you look at the past, it is very rare for players aged over 30 years to enter as new players there.

Chelsea now need an experienced striker. Their offensive performance is poor. They are having a lot of trouble scoring goals. And so it is a best choice for them to have Cristiano Ronaldo in the team. Even though Ronaldo did not perform well with Manchester United, his fitness is still very good. I think he can play well with Chelsea and strengthen a lot of the Chelsea team.

Ronaldo's mind is young but the problem is that the body can not tell a lie, those high intensity football and pressing are no longer what he should be doing, he should look for an already made team where he can just come in,get me the ball and I'll give you goals. I am sure he has a couple of options, but would keep quiet for now in order to stay in a better position when it comes to potential negotiations. What I doubt though is that he will stay in the Premier League. It is difficult to tell but it could be possible that he gets constantly attacked also by fans of other teams. He is a strategic guy and didn't choose the timing for his interview without deeper considerations. PSG would be crazy, but where would he play then? With Mbappe, Neymar and Messi all his favorite positions are taken. That could again lead to trouble. Whatever club is going to sign him, I am sure they will be careful about it.
