I think Newcastle should focus more on clinching top 4 position of the league this season, then the next target should be winning the league after beefing up their squad with more quality players in the summer transfer window, if they wanted to focus on winning the league this season they might ended up not finishing on a good position, EPL is a very tough and competitive league, it's better a club set target and meet up with the target for that season rather than chase shadows, I am not undermining the strength and quality of the club, based on past records a newly well funded clubs do perform well after one or two seasons in the league.

The way Newcastle have been performing this season is truly amazing. They are third in the table. And perhaps they have only lost one match this season. Newcastle have no star players. Due to the good bond between the team players, they have been able to maintain the consistency of their performance. But I would say if Newcastle want to qualify for the Champions League they need to strengthen their squad. The team should bring star players. Newcastle's owner is very rich. But we don't know yet whether they are interested in spending money to strengthen the team.

Newcastle should stay focus to be among the top four,this should be their target because I don't see them winning the league but with their quality and good players anything can happen. Arsenal is already topping the table and will not give chance to Newcastle, they are targeting to be this season EPL winner which they have been working towards tirelessly.
Next week we can begin to see if these clubs can be consistent with their previous performance before the world cup or not. Transfer windows will also help in boosting up some clubs as new players will be bought and this can be an advantage to clubs that were not performing well before the world cup.

Newcastle United did only lose one match this season so far. But at the same time, they have six draws. I can say that some of those letters should really not have been a draw. Those matches should have been losses for Newcastle United.

Newcastle United has certainly improved. They have three matches to win the competition resumes, against mid-table teams. But after that, they are going to face Arsenal. I don’t know if they will be able to win that match against Arsenal. If they bring a draw that is going to be a good enough result for them in my opinion. But the way Arsenal is playing, I do not think Arsenal will ever go for a draw in that match.

Arsenal also has two quite easy matches before they face Newcastle United. So they will not use their full strength in those matches and will try to win against Newcastle United at any cost.

First of all, Brentford don't have a good luck against Tottenham. They couldn't beat Tottenham in their club history. They were at least able to steal one point here in the previous season. However I don't expect even that to happen this time. Tottenham immediately need a decent form in the league. Because they have lost so many points recently and this caused them to get away from the title contenders quite much. Newcastle have also left them behind thanks to the amazing win streak they have.

Brentford ended their winless streak with a Manchester City victory. However there has been a long time since then. I think Tottenham will make a strong return by defeating Brentford.

 This is football we're talking about, and in case you have forgotten all the drama that happened in Qatar where smaller teams are beating the bigger teams and even eliminating them. Brentford have no chance of beating Tottenham doesn't mean anything can't happen in favor of the Bees, the Tottenham in question are even struggling in there friendly game against Nice, they're still going to find it hard to claim 3pts when they come against the Bees.

 Brentford are really going through hard times but I see them trying to get back to winning ways if not causing problems for the big 6.

Arsenal still lead at the top of the standings with five points from Manchester City. I think the Gunners' position is still very vulnerable especially with the condition of the team that is not a full team.

Erling Haaland has been waiting for the Premier League to resume fully next week, as evidenced by his reaction on social media. That guy misses scoring goals and wants to get back in the game as soon as possible to keep his team winning games. His consistency is unrivaled; hopefully, he can maintain it even after the break, which is set to end in a few days.

Arsenal leads the table, but will they be able to maintain their lead after the long break? They've previously played fantastic football, which has impressed all of their fans. I hope they can hold on to that position until the end, but based on Arsenal's past records, they always fumble and fall from the top after leading the league for half of the season.

Totenham is far superior compared with brentford and i don't even think brentford can prevent totenham from taking the full points. Brentford is far below totenham in the comparison between players from the club combined with statistic between both. I would not be surprised if totenham can even win easily without a tough game.

As per Arsenal staying consistent, they've been on top of that at the moment than any other team in the EPL. I don't see them slacking even after the international break. They've got there young and healthy squad still and would be looking towards adding more to its teams depth with the transfer window. It would be a destination for some good players with the way things have turned for Arsenal in the EPL and with the Arteta's management. Arsenal might just be able to pull this off.

I too am looking forward to the resumption of premier league, especially as it concerns Arsenal. I have been following their game all through and am hoping they slack not in retaining the top spot as it is and even play to win with more goals. The transfer windows is going to be interesting following the return of players who have exhibited great performance for their countries in the just concluded world cup.
Will Arteta and team be able to pull this one off, and restore confidence in the team and hearts of the fans? This is a question I hope to get a good answer for by the end of this seasons league.

When the EPL resumes, I hope he converts it meaningfully. He hasn't played a competitive match since they took a break, and while he has been exercising on his own, teamwork play on the field is different. He can only achieve this if he can channel his frustration at not being able to play in the World Cup into being at his best when the league resumes and winning games for his team.

Regardless of what the chance for the two clubs is, it's still very big, be it Arsenal or Manchester City.
But in this case we also have to pay attention to other factors such as the injuries to several players now especially for Arsenal which is definitely annoying because for City now I personally don't think too much about that even I'm pretty sure their line of attack is different from Arsenal which incidentally is the current challenger .

Burnley started well but they couldn't continue immediately Man United dominated the entire game.
