So far, Newcastle have played well, especially since they made it into the top 4 of the Premier League standings in the first half of this season. I don't believe they will be able to continue this positive trend in the second half of the season, so it is very likely that they will drop out of the top 4.

Newcastle moved slowly and steadily to the top 4. Obviously they can drop from there if the other teams, mainly ManU, Chelsea and Liverpool, will keep positive results but did you trust them to do that? I am not very optimistic about that.

Yeah games in January seems pretty tough. With our mainman gone for some time now it will be hard for us to attack these teams. Hopefully Nketiah will fill in the shoes completely for us  as a striker. All these 3 games will be tight ones, especially the Newcastle one. Let's see how we handle these games and the upcoming transfer window as well.

Arsenal faced with bad news after their player Gabriel Jesus have announced out from Brazil squad in the World Cup with knee injuries and still not confirming yet when he can return for playing again. I think dark side for players who represented their national team at the World Cup and returned to the club injured, however Gabriel Jesus as main squad player for Arsenal in this season and consistency performed success give Arsenal opportunity managed first standing awhile with 5 points behind Manchester City.

I doubt with Arsenal consistency in the winning way if Gabriel Jesus can return back when Primer League begin at the end this month, although have three weeks later for Gabriel Jesus get recovering I don't think it enough time for him back to the top performance before injured.

Arsenal were still doing good without Jesus scoring a goal before the World Cup. As you know he wasn't scoring any goal for a long time since October. But Arsenal still moved on strongly. Because their effort as a team has been the main factor making them stay strong in the league. Hopefully they can handle this injury period the same as well.

Otherwise Manchester City wouldn't forgive mistakes by Arsenal. I expect to see a more solid Manchester City in the other half of this season. They would concentrate on dropping the point losses to as low level as possible. I still remember that shocking Brentford loss in Etihad for example.

There is no doubt about this but still Arsenal is having quality players those are able to give them good support in absence of Gabriel Jesus but surely one thing is not good as most of their players are still involved in this event and any next injury can give them big setback because right now things are under control and with we have transfer window is also near which mean they can do good changes for having quality replacement but still they will have to play few matches without him and these are surely going to be not easy for them Saka and Martinelli both are good players which can fill this issue temporary, but schedule is surely not easy because they are going to face the toughest teams, and they have to manage things in positive way.

Don't forget Brighton. Before match against with Newcastle, our have the Brighton match, hopefully Brighton will have a poor performance in that match to make it easier for Arsenal to steal points. But indeed the toughest opponents in January it is Newcastle Tottenham and Manchester United, hopefully Arteta can think of a myriad of ways to keep getting points in those 3 tough matches.

For example, if they had played in the Champions League this year, they might have caught the attention of Cristiano Ronaldo. I think Mbappe will not be a difficult transfer for them. Mbappe's interest in money is also a known fact. If Newcastle make a good offer for him and they manage to qualify for the Champions League this year, they can sign Mbappe in my opinion. Looking at the existing players, it seems like Arsenal doesn't really have a problem when they lose some of their players. Losing yes that's for sure, but hopefully they can overcome this. Because they must always be in very good condition to maintain their current position. 5 points is not a comfortable distance for them, especially the team chasing them is Manchester City.

Speaking of which, it feels really interesting to see West Ham in this condition in only one season. I really can't figure out what has changed so quickly in this short time of period. They were a team that were fighting hard for top places in the standings. They were really a challenging opponent for the big teams of the league also. But right after that season we are witnessing an insane level of drop in their performance. They are nearly in the relegation area now. They resemble Sevilla in the La Liga about this topic as they are in a similar situation now.

Maybe there were some players leaving the team before the start of the season. But they have brought really good players after that also. Do you think that they were not initially extremely concentrated? No team can beat everyone for long, especially given the level of competition in the Premier League. City got lucky with the Champions League round of 16 draw and they don't have top opponent right now, but if they come across someone like Bayern then I think they'll forget about the Premier League for a while as they try to survive in the Champions League.

A five points gap is great for Arsenal, not so comfortable, but in the EPL i don't think any team would expect to top City by a comfortable mile, if they (City) are not top, they'd always chase whoever is top and maintain a considerable distance so they would be able to capitalize on any errors, thus Arsenal should be happy with the five points gap they have at the summit.

Having said that, Arteta basically just has to get on with things immediately after the WC, if they lose concentration, City are going to be there to take advantage, for now City are yet to have any player injured at the WC, but Arsenal do, Arteta has to start working on how to cope without the players he is sure wouldn't be available immediately after the WC. The thing about Pep is that he never stops thinking, so if his team is breathing down your neck, you also shouldn't stop thinking, or else he'll win in the end.

Now, the question is that will they be moving forward with everything that they have and win more games than others and disrupt that top four and get in there? Or will they end up playing badly again and not get in there. If they somehow do get in top four, then it is Arsenal and City and Liverpool, leaving just one team available for there, and that's a tough question to answer. Yes, I agree with you that the chance for Newcastle to maintain their position in order to stay in the top 4 will be very possible. They had an impressive game that made them into the top team by occupying the 3rd position in the standings table. One of the advantages that has made Newcastle now in the top 4 is how their defense works. Yes, that is the main asset for them, which is very difficult to beat, even though they didn't win, they still managed to get 1 point from their 6 matches. They also belong to one of the clubs that has a good defense with only conceding 11 goals so far with Arsenal who also have that statistic.

I don't think it's even necessary to think about it, because that's how it really is. He could have stayed in England at absolutely any club, he would have been 100% welcome, but not every club is prepared to spend huge amounts of money firstly on buying and secondly on wages. The sheikhs can give that money, so they are waiting for him in Saudi Arabia. they can forget about him there, of course, but it is important for him to make money in recent years...
