It must be admitted that Manchester United have started to improve since Erik Ten Hag took over as coach. The players are starting to be able to return to their game, slowly I give them confidence to be able to do even better. This is a good first step for them before looking at matches in the Premier League, because with this result they will be more confident for the next match. nunez and haaland will show who is the best in the match later. I believe these two players are the most interesting for the spectators in today's match.

Both Nunez and Haaland are two top players who aren't in any competition with each other, but just want to help their respective teams win every game possible, thus far this season Haaland has been the better of the pair, but i don't think this Carabao cup game is going to prove anything between them, either of them would surely want to score and help their team win tonight, but notwithstanding whatsoever is the result at the end of the night, it doesn't prove who's the best player between them. Having said that, prolly at the end of the season there could be a comparison of their respective stats to decide who was the better player for the season. But btw i think City are definitely going to win tonight, they love the Carabao cup, don't they.

The most important thing is that they have to show a good performance, that's all I think without the need to make it seem like this is a stage for these two players because when I think about egos like that I'm worried that the game for the team will be a little unbalanced.
On the other hand, it looks like Manchester City are looking confident right now, even though Alvarez still can't be strengthened up front, but they are a little confident with the players they have now.
This will be a bit of a consolation ahead of the EPL's restart in a few days. Let's hope it's a fun game to watch and both clubs field some of their first-team squad.

They lost Martial in many matches because of injuries.
With Rashford, they can not trust him entirely.

The possibility is still there, especially now that Arsenal are also experiencing some problems and of course the absence of Gabriel for the next few months is still a real problem that has not been resolved now.
Even though Arsenal are currently not only Gabriel because young people in their squad like Odegaard and Martineli are also good, but still Gabriel's absence as a focus breaker for opposing players will be greatly lost after the holidays and this can be put to good use by Manchester City. Aren't they intending to do a long-term contract for Rashford now? I saw some news about this especially after Manchester felt a little threatened by PSG's desire with the lure of a very large salary for this player. after returning to the Premier League I'm sure there have been some changes that have occurred and what is quite expected is Arsenal after Gabrie Jesus suffered an injury it is likely that their front line performance will be slightly disturbed and their consistency quite a lot of people doubt it even though on paper against WestHam it is not a problem which is difficult for them.

but for the first week back in the Premier League I was very hesitant to bet on any team because of fears of unexpected changes after a very long holiday.

Now they are still trying to find a temporary replacement for Gabriel but with the solidity of their midfield maybe this won't be too much of a problem, it's just that Gabriel's role is still very influential indeed for Arsenal.
I think there will be some changes and hopefully it doesn't turn out too well for Arsenal because I'm quite comfortable watching their form at the start of the season.

Is Arsenal really taking the position or will Man City take it?

This can be done as long as Haaland and the other players are really able to maintain their best form.
It's not a big problem in my opinion about the point difference between Arsenal and Manchester City at the moment, definitely not a difficult number to catch.

I realized that the title race this season is never going to be easy for Manchester City, Arsenal and whichever team is the favourite. The Premier League has become tougher season after season although Manchester City have completely dominated the title in recent seasons. As a fan, I hope Manchester City are able to defend their title this season, it is clear to me that I will be very proud.

There is no sensible reason for Manchester United not to extend Rashford's contract at this point. He is like one of the most valuable players in the team in terms of price and contribution both. They just can't afford losing a player like him for now. They are already not having a very comfortable season in the league. Losing one of their critical players would make things even more difficult in their remaining matches. Rashford was making a big contribution to the team until some weeks before. But there has been some drop in his effort recently. However he can still get over it easily as he is a talented player.

If he chooses to go to PSG instead of continuing here it would be very meaningless. Because Neymar and Mbappe is clearly staying and Messi's contract would be extended soon as well. Rashford will have to wait in the subs at least for one season there.

Even though Tottenham had good domination when playing against Brentford, but at this moment I personally don't seem to be completely sure that Tottenham will win. Because so far Brentford has played at home, at least Brentford can play well, because Brentford's only defeat at home so far this season has only been a defeat by Arsenal.
So yes, maybe Brentford can still hold Tottenham to a draw this match which will be played at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Considering also that Tottenham so far this season have not always been smooth in getting points in away matches, with considerations like that it is enough to make me doubt that Tottenham will be able to beat Brentford.
But if the prediction is on paper then of course Tottenham will win because in fact, in terms of the current odds, Tottenham are predicted to win.
