That been said, Manchester City already has a complete team that can challenge for the title while the rest of the big teams in England still need to strengthen some positions in their team. So I think the other team's performance next season will be hugely affected by how well they performed in the transfer market
As the transfer windows were open, every team's been making endeavors to sign in players and build a good squad for the premier league next season. Sometimes, it doesn't really get to workout just the way they planned as things get toppled in mid-seasons. ... A perfect example as to what happened to Chelsea too. I believe they've learnt alot and alot of changes too would occur - mostly since the OLD MAN is in charge.
City isn't even planning to wreck anytime soon. But I didn't see the idea of letting out Mahrez as a very good one either.

You're right, Pep built the team a few seasons ago now he can rule the league just like what Alex Ferguson did in the past unstoppable
In your opinion, which team is the most worthy to compete with Manchester City? Arsenal or Manchester United?
Or maybe Liverpool who eyeing some top strikers like Victor Osimhen, can not imagine if Liverpool managed to sign him.
If your question is intended for next season, I think all teams deserve to compete with Manchester City. But if your question is competition for the championship next season, I think Manchester United and Liverpool are still worthy enough to compete with Manchester City. So far, Manchester United and Liverpool have managed to get some great players to strengthen certain lines that they might have previously considered very weak.

Among the most worthy I would say yes, but I would only take Liverpool as more deserving, I have opposed something in context, it does not matter the players who are in the MU, they can even be Messi with CR7, they can incorporate Vinicius, Neymar and a series of stars that I assure you that they are not going to win anything, but it is not because of them, because they can make any team champion, if the MU wants to win they have to leave Ten Hag, many say that he is the best technical director, but better than that? I haven't seen relevant victories, that can compete against City? Of course, yes, they have to compete against them, but do they win? Maybe, but I think it's safer than not, because obviously you can't compare Pep Guardiola and his great management, who has won the UCL many times with several teams, to a Ten Hag who does nothing but impose.

The Dutchman clearly wants to do things well, well, that's what they pay him for, right? but I think that he is a technical director who has a wrong vision of football and who has not been able to decipher it, he has led his players down a very bad path, of course this is what I have seen, and what my experience can say, a tenuous director who messes with a world star and wants to ridicule her is not worthy for me.

I don't think De Gea will be devoid of enthusiasts after his contract with Manchester ends. I think Al Nassr is one of the leading teams to get De Gea because he would be a great signing if Al Nassr can convince De Gea to accept their offer. I think De Gea will take advantage of this free time to go on vacation before he decides to accept the offers that come his way. Other than that I think the level of ability he has will make him the target of many European teams or outside Europe.

So far, it has been reported that Manchester United will make another approach to convince De Gea to return to the team. However, seeing the treatment that Manchester United management did to De Gea, I think their efforts to convince De Gea will be difficult to achieve.

I don't know much about De Gea's situation at Manchester United, but maybe the negotiation process will still be considered if it turns out that Manchester United can't sign a better goalkeeper. Right now De Gea is available as a free transfer player, so he can go anywhere as long as he feels it is more profitable there.

Al Nassr are interested in signing De Gea, but I think Al Nassr's interest in De Gea has gone down. After all, De Gea is still very likely to play in Europe instead of the Arab Pro League, but all his decisions really depend on what his future plans are.

I suppose De Gea won't have any problems finding a new club during the summer pause, but ten Haag made a u-turn and expressed again that he doesn't fully trust him while still leaving a door oPen to re-sign him. Isn't this disrespectful when your club doesn't want to offer you a contract just yet, but first see what the market is doing and whether other goalkeepers become available? This is not disrespectful yet, but how awkward would the situation be for De Gea when Manchester United fails at signing a new goalkeeper and then as a second or third solution offer him a new contract. If that is how this is going to play out, he should be asking for a salary higher than he had before. He could be better off signing a new contract as a free agent elsewhere no matter how Manchester United decides.

As I have said on many Occasions , that technical director is not at the level of the MU , and is leading the MU to a total abyss, I don't know about you, but doesn't it remind you of the treatment he gave CR7 ? Of course the problem with him was Different , but it was always based on a lack of respect, taking advantage of the fact that he was a technical director, which leaves a Superior power over any player, which should not be, because he is not only lacking respect, but rather that he is messing with his pride as a player, one thing must be very clear, when De Gea is in Saudi fútbol and Ten Hag calls him, De Gea should publicly send him to the one we know... because a player he must be respected, not only because of his work but because he is a Human being.

I have said many times , the MU boys are not scary like before , they do not have good management , I remember that the Dutchman who Managed Di María , Tevez in a guy who always leaves them unimportant because they were Argentines, but in Qatar they are He completed Topoyiyo's gesture , which annoyed him, he gave me something with Davids, but I think they deserved it , I don't know why those Dutch coaches have such Attitudes towards the best players in the World.

You're right, Pep built the team a few seasons ago now he can rule the league just like what Alex Ferguson did in the past unstoppable

Or maybe Liverpool who eyeing some top strikers like Victor Osimhen, can not imagine if Liverpool managed to sign him.

Liverpool have given up on recruiting Osimhen after Osimhen clarified that he would not join Liverpool. But it could be that he will change his mind if no other offers come his way. But so far, many big EPL teams are interested in Osimhen, such as Manchester United and Chelsea. I think Liverpool will look for other alternatives if they fall short in signing Osimhen. Now, if you look at the Depth of Liverpool squad for next season, I think they already have a fairly aggressive attacking trio where Nunez, Gakpo and M Salah. However, Kloop is also considering signing another striker just in case his main player is absent or fails to show better performance next season.

Well, indeed in forming a stronger squad it takes time as has been shown by Pep Guardiola with Manchester City. However Each has a different pattern in their development and the main thing is the decision of the Coach and the management of the Team. For that we will see how much influence it has on other teams who have managed to get Osimhen in this transfer window. So only Manchester United are at the forefront of signing Osimhen in the transfer market this season.
It is very difficult, because players like Osimehn are seen to have a very strong character, and I think that if they go with a technical director like Ten Hag it will be so that many fights will break out, and from the beginning it will be a total war, if they already have differences between De Gea and Ten Hag, I don't want to imagine a player with a very strong temperament against him, also the statements that CR7 gave at one point were quite cruel against the club, in fact the club is for sale, and that makes us think many things, so a player like this who is so sought after to go to a club like this with the characteristics of entering is worth thinking about.

The solution is simple, it is to get out of Ten Hag, the truth cannot be that I am the only one who thinks that the error of this team is in the technical director, because we are all witnesses of what this team does on the field, it is It's just that they take urgent measures, it's the MU.

Manchester United submit €45m bid for Andre Onana while Inter set deadline for negotiations

Quote
Manchester United have launched their opening bid for Andre Onana, as per Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla.

The Red Devils have reportedly tabled a €40 million offer with a further €5m in add-ons, though this does not meet Inter Milan’s valuation of their first-choice goalkeeper.

Consequently, the Serie A club will likely reject the proposal and demand an improved fee. They are open to holding talks with United until July 20 and if an agreement is not met by the deadline, Onana will be staying at the San Siro.

Manchester United is really going to be one big contender for the premier league cup come next season. The team Ten Hag has developed, although it still needs a few players to strengthen the team, will compete against Manchester city, will chew down Arsenal and Liverpool and Chelsea would beg for draw, should Osimhen decide to join them.
I hardly doubt Osimhen would make the move. Chelsea might be better fit or better option considering their style and need for a comeback.

Do Liverpool plan to make a striker signing after Firmino's departure? There have been rumours about a gigantic deal for Mbappe by Liverpool but I don't think this will happen. Real Madrid would intervene and sign him instead of Liverpool most probably. In this case I'm curious about whether Liverpool are still decisive to sign a top striker.

They have Nunez already though but he can't be the only striker relied on anyway. It would be better for them to have another striker at least at Nunez's level to secure the attacking line more than now. They need to find a striker who can fill Firmino's place really well.

It will be simple to predict that Manchester City will perform well in the upcoming season given the excellent players they have on hand already and those they plan to add. While I can't say that Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, or Chelsea's squads can compete with Manchester City's,but let me not fast concluded because the transfer window is still open,Let's wait and see who Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United still add to their rosters as soon as possible. Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United are the clubs I anticipate posing a threat to Manchester City going forward, but Liverpool or Arsenal should have the greatest competing in the Premier League.

Quote
Chelsea already sold some players which am sure Pochettino made the perfect decision by selling those players, it’s of no use keeping all those players, they have no any impact on the club’s performance, the club is just getting worst, chelsea is just wasting money on them, I really commend Pochettino for making the decision which he made to clean Chelsea squad, and he is making good decisions by signing new players, am sure the player’s which he sign will help Chelsea performance, but Chelsea management have to give Pochettino to stabilize with the new players, they shouldn’t be in rush, things might not really be easy for the coach at the beginning of the season, so he should be given enough time to adapt with the club and the new players joining.

Selling those older players or the players Pochettino feels wouldn't fit his team is the best thing he can do, in my opinion. Pochettino must seriously restructure Chelsea; otherwise, the squad will continue to struggle in the coming season. I think Pochettino is a capable manager, and I have faith that he'll work hard to get Chelsea back to where they should be. He has coached Premier League clubs for numerous seasons, so I can assume that the Premier League may not be all that difficult for him.

In fact, Liverpool can hire Osimhen or any other player but they have to pay the 150m for him and if not wrong the Napoli owner asked 150 from any team they want to hire this player, and spending this huge amount of money is not something any team can do.

De Gea is getting old and that's very hard for him to find a good offer because of his age, there are many teams that want to hire a player at this age, even a goalkeeper.
I was expecting to see De Gea finishing his career at Manchester United but unfortunately, he didn't get toe enough respect from this team.

The Premier League is the toughest competition in the world and very dynamic. Manchester City, which is the defending champion three times in a row, will certainly face a real challenge again from several contestants who have prepared their squad more deeply. But of course Guardiola is not afraid of that, he will still respect every opponent.

But in my opinion Manchester City will dominate the Premier League again, how come Pep Guardiola has made a very solid foundation and difficult to overthrow. At the moment City's line-up is extraordinary and they also have a very strong mentality.

You're right, Pep built the team a few seasons ago now he can rule the league just like what Alex Ferguson did in the past unstoppable

I think you are totally quoting Ten Hag out of context here and using Ronaldo’s situation to justify your argument. But this is a different case and not Ten Hag’s fault. He said clearly in the last game United played that he would love to have De Gea as his goalkeeper next season but he isn’t certain he will be Number one. Although De Gea has been one of the best united players for the past twelve years and also a great servant but I think it is time to move on and in the current modern football you need a balling playing goalkeeper.

Now how did this saga escalated, it was the poor board at United that has nothing to do with Ten Hag that offered to lower De Gea wages and when he agreed and left for holidays they called out to him again that they would reduce it more and this time he felt disrespected and is yet to sign a new contract. So does this relate to De Gea being disrespected by Ten Hag? Or rather been treated unfairly by the United Board that even over looked him for captaincy and gave it to maguire in his first season.

I don’t see anything wrong in lowering his wages and signing a backup for him because the team need to move on but the board should do it in a respectful manner.

Indeed, he did not get the respect of Manchester United because Manchester United first offer had been approved by De Gea, but Manchester United again rejected the offer in order to reduce his salary again and that is what made De Gea leave after his contract ended. In my opinion, De Gea is not too old because he still shows strength and can appear full time in every match.

We'll see if he'll be reunited with Ronaldo in Al Nassr or if he'll join another team in the EPL. I think a lot of offers came to him after his contract ended with Manchester United.

He has coached Premier League clubs for numerous seasons, so I can assume that the Premier League may not be all that difficult for him.
Mind you that Mauricio Pochettino has coached only one English team, and that's Spurs, he also didn't win anything at Spurs, but winning nothing is typical of Spurs anyway, notwithstanding who's their manager. Pochettino knows the league quite well, he was manager of Spurs for over five years, thus he has the experience of the league, but not of winning any title in England. Well he is now manager of a bigger club (Chelsea), with a bigger history, so we'd see how successful he can be (though it definitely wouldn't happen immediately).

There are title contenders in the premier league next season and believe me when i say Manchester United are not amongst. Of course there are still enough time to change the narratives in the transfer market, but at the moment Manchester United do not have the squad depth or necessary to win the English Premier league. Theres no confirmed Goalkeeper or Striker at Manchester United at the moment, you cannot win the league without one.

De Gea is at a great age for a goalkeeper and will still be able to play at his highest level for a few more years, so I was unpleasantly surprised by the attitude towards the goalkeeper from Manchester United and Ten Hag in particular lately. De Gea has become a free agent and now has the right to decide his own fate, and I hope that he will make the right choice and stay as far away from Manchester United as possible, because even in the event of a change of ownership, Ten Hag will have the last word, and he has already shown that he does not count on De Gea as the first number on goaltending position.

Manchester United are missing out because they have yet to sign a striker or a goalkeeper if David de Gea decides to leave Old Trafford. Manchester United doesn't seem ready to win the Premier League yet, that's actually happening. They have a strong probability of winning league games, but with their current level of performance, they are not capable of winning the EPL. Erik Ten Hag should focus more on his defensive lines and ensure that the red devils completely lower the high rate at which they concede goals and start pressing full concentration on scoring more goals against their opponents.

The transfer window is still open and we have witnessed many teams signed and some are still bringing in more players to reinforce and wait for next season to compete for the EPL title. Manchester United needs an out and out striker. A striker has to be priority with a goal keeper next. Every team would be competing next season, we can’t say Manchester United isn’t among, they’re still going to add more names and prepare well for next season, likewise Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester city.

No one can predict about the future of any club with the results of last year is clearly indicating how things works here in Premier League no one was expecting Liverpool and Chelsea will perform like this and losing out of the top four and also nothing was clear about Arsenal will be at the top throughout season and then suddenly they lost their best chances just before few weeks which is also shocking for the fans as well.

Even right now, Pep Guardiola's team is doing their best and having one of the best squad but still any trouble or injury can ruin their season Arsenal are learning from their mistakes and now doing their homework Manchester United and Liverpool are also doing their best for the better result, and we have two more teams which are surely had good chance for the better end of the season like Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Quote from: Velvet78
Do Liverpool plan to make a striker signing after Firmino's departure? There have been rumours about a gigantic deal for Mbappe by Liverpool but I don't think this will happen. Real Madrid would intervene and sign him instead of Liverpool most probably. In this case I'm curious about whether Liverpool are still decisive to sign a top striker.

They have Nunez already though but he can't be the only striker relied on anyway. It would be better for them to have another striker at least at Nunez's level to secure the attacking line more than now. They need to find a striker who can fill Firmino's place really well.

I think, Liverpool management are still working seriously to get a good striker who can join Salah to improve the team in the area of scoring goals in every match next season which is the desire of the Liverpool management. Since the money to sign in Mbappe is too big for Liverpool management to release in this summer, I think they will definitely get a talented striker that will be active like Erling Haaland soon. Real Madrid are very ready to sign in the Mbappe in this summer, so that he can occupy the position of Karim Benzema so that there will be hope of winning many titles next season that will give their coach and fans joy through out the tournaments.

Onana does look like he would worth about 40 max 50 million to be fair, I do not think that the offer is too bad. What are they expecting for Onana? 100 million? Lol, that's the amount of money you could expect for a decent goalkeeper these days and not a lot more and even all over online, the worth for him is about 35 to 40 million range so the offer is not bad at all.

I understand Inter doesn't need to sell, they can just keep him, and when you are not willing to sell then it becomes a lot harder to buy that player for anyone else. However, it looks obvious that we are going to end up with a situation where they are going to provide some more money. I would say offer 50 million straight up, and do not offer a dime more, he won't worth more than that at all.

Onana is already not too young, 27 years old and $100M is too high for him but football transfer market is inflated recent years. 20 years ago, if you pay very high fees, those players you bought would be super star players and already won Ballon d'Or like Kaka, Shevchenko, Zidane, Figo. Nowadays, with $100M, Chelsea bought Mudryk when they player has yet made his outstanding performance in big leagues and Champions League. Like Manchester United spent $80M to buy Maguire, unbelievable so I am unsure about the cost for Onana.

They don't have too wealthy finance and if any club bid high price, they will sell Onana. Keeping him longer, they will see his value on transfer market drops more.

There are chance for the Manchester United to have fight for the title with city rivals but if they want to go strong and well-balanced then surely they need to bring few good players like goalkeeper, Striker and defender with their hunt is going on and few players are already under discussion but right now nothing is clear even few days back we have new Ten hag is consistently in talk about Neymar which is surely not suitable specially after having long term injuries but if they are able to bring Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen then surely things could be gone into their favor.

About goalkeeper, they are surely doing things as their target and hopefully before 20th July we will have good news about this as well because it's important for them to settled this all quickly.
