There's still a lot of game to be played but the performance of Manchester City is not improving but going on a downturn. Football is all about the team sports.
And when Manchester City is not able to save a 2 goals lead in it's own home against a team like Crystal Palace, no miracles are coming if there's not a change.
I'm not quite a fan of Manchester City as in modern times, they were never as strong till arabs bought every good players, yet they have some capable individual players and an excellent coach, Pep Guardiola, that I respect. I'd be happy to see old school teams like Arsenal and Liverpool win the league this time.

It looks like Arsenal and Liverpool will continue to dominate this season if no other team can be as consistent as them until the end of the season. Because the two teams now look increasingly fierce in terms of competition, there will be quite a tough and thrilling match this week at Liverpool's home ground. The Liverpool vs Arsenal match this week looks like it will be difficult to predict because both of them will definitely use their respective abilities to be in first place after the match is over. Meanwhile for Manchester City, it looks like they have to make several changes in order to restore their true performance this season.

With the kind of impressions that Aston Villa have created so far in the premier league, they may really be up to something because they have actually been so consistent in their form so if anyone between Liverpool and Arsenal drops points now Aston villa might take their place and do something surprising. Of a truth they never saw Aston Villa coming because they were just winning matches without any clubs being aware of their performance so that was when they started gaining recognition.

Aston Villa have seriously been a team to beat not just this season but since Unai Emry took charge the clubs in the form. The likes of Diaby, Pau Torres and lots of other players have actually had a great impact to the club. But i wouldn’t just put them up just yet in the league contenders list because the players still lack the character to go far. Last season towards the end of the season Arsenal threw away the league to Manchester city because of this lack or character after some players suffered injuries. Aston Villa are a working team and a legUe pursuit now will only Cause them problems but rathe they should just focus on how to make the champions league qualification next season and then build on it from there

You have to wait since Manchester City next game in English Premier League is postponed because they will face Fluminense in the final match of the Club World Cup tomorrow. In that match, Manchester City are expected to win. Fluminense ended the Brazilian league in the 7th place with almost equal victories to defeats.
Their remaining matches this December in English Premier League will be against Everton and Sheffield United, so easy wins in my opinion.

EPL is indeed a tougher competition and even elite clubs have it challenging to survive, they ensure they buckled their ground before facing any opponents. Pep Guardiola have done his best and no solid results seems to productive from Manchester City this season. Maybe they need time before the can start winning matches, it's very easy to start comprehending matches won by Manchester City but it's very important we're able to spot out their weaknesses and the areas they're finding challenges. I am increasingly optimistic about Manchester City if their best midfielder returns. However, perhaps Manchester City will not have a significant impact from De Bruyne's return because basically players who have been absent for a long time due to injury usually find it difficult to return to their peak performance quickly. De Bruyne is an important player so his presence will provide great motivation for other players to give their best throughout the match.

Well, talking about the Liverpool vs Arsenal match, this match will be an exciting match. remember, both teams will appear with an offensive system pattern. as a supporter of the Gunners, of course I support my favorite team in this battle. unfortunately, it won't be easy for Arsenal to beat Liverpool, especially since the match will be held at Anfield. but at least, I hope both teams show their best game. referring to temporary odds, it seems that bookmakers don't really make a difference. although, it seems Liverpool is the favorite. this match still has a time lag in the next few days, so I think there is still plenty of time to search and dig up new information for these two teams and determine betting options. so, let's just wait.

I hope Liverpool and Arsenal both draw in this match, this will make Aston Villa and Manchester City close the gap in points between the two. With the way Everton is playing, I don't think Everton will be relegated to the England Championship League this season. Since Everton lost to Manchester United, Everton has never lost to any other club in the Premier League so far.

With the current conditions, there is still more than half a game, it should be that if only 10 points they can still continue to work hard. They can still maximize every game with a win. Although it is not easy, logically they are certainly capable. Four games they gained 3 points. This means that there is a clear improvement. They can also take advantage of their youth academy to add strength to the team. While the transfer seems to be impossible.

I see that Everton's development is still quite good they can win 4x and that is out of the clear relegation zone where Everton this season is unlikely to be relegated, and we already know which teams will be relegated.

If there are better academy players for Everton whose contribution is quite large then I think they can utilize existing players.

The challenge for Pep so that Man City is able to defend the EPL title this season is indeed very difficult. Since the start of the season, many key players from Man City have been injured, so this has had a big impact on Man City's performance so far. When Manchester United picks up from they can have a 25 match winning streak and that can take them to the top of the table because the other teams have to win all their matches too to keep up. Also, do not forget that De Bruyne is back with Manchester City and that alone is a very big booster for Manchester City. They will definitely create more chances now and with Halland and Alvarez up front they'll score more goals. De Bruyne himself is also a very good goal scorer.
The title race is still very open for all the current top 4 teams right now.

Everton were never considered for relegation this season even though they had to accept the fact that a 10-point deduction would be unpleasant. Everton managed to get out of the relegation zone with 4 consecutive wins so far, they are ranked 16th with a 2 point advantage over Nottingham. It may not be time for them to recover from the impact of the points deduction, but Everton are already on track to get out of the relegation zone this season.

But the next two matches will not be easy because Tottenham and Manchester City are two better teams. Tottenham and Manchester City will likely make Everton lose points again after 4 consecutive wins, but if Everton manages to overcome that then I think Everton is ready to return to mid-table again.

Aston villa are performing well this season Aston Villa are performing well this season, and I am even surprised with their performances this season. They are a dangerous club, which shouldn't be underestimated, but they can't compete with Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City. All I am expecting from Aston Villa is for them to end the season in the top 4 or top 5, but Aston Villa won't be able to contest for the league title. Their performances are currently good, and they are playing well, but I just hope their performance won't drop in their subsequent matches. There are still a lot of matches to be played.

I am just surprised that Manchester City performance started dropping all of a sudden, they dropped from the first position and are currently in the 4th position. I don’t know how they will be able to take back the first position because Arsenal and Liverpool are performing incredibly well and they won’t want to drop in position this season. It might not be easy for Manchester City to bounce back easily, this season might be a different one and won’t be like last season for Manchester City.

I think it's still to early to put any team to have the biggest chance to anything in regard Premier League. There is only 6 points difference between the league leader and the fifth position. I think the form is temporary for all teams so far. Tottenham, for example, had a very good form at the start of the season by being the league leader for a while, but now they are sitting at fifth position. This can happen to any team at the moment.

I think Liverpool having goalless draw against Manchester United doesnt prove anything, because they scored six goals the two games before. And Liverpool has the attacking prowess to bounce back. And I don't think Arsenal had any significant better than Liverpool, because they also had a struggling phase at one point. These two teams will face each other next that could change the standing on the table. Manchester City is currently having a struggling phase with sitting at fourth position, but I'm sure they will bounc back soon enough, because that's what they have always been doing since Pep Guardiola came. While Aston Vila is just a dark horse that can surprise us or have an expected end.

Liverpool really demolished West Ham in the EFL Cup today. Klopp actually rotated the squad a little and most importantly Salah wasn't in the starting lineup. But it was still not an obstacle for Liverpool to dominate the game from the beginning to the end. That 5-1 win was really convincing and a needed one for Liverpool as well.

Because despite being seen dominant they were really bad at finishing against Manchester United. This game must have been a big help to get over that. Now they have a really tough game ahead which is against Arsenal. It is very critical for the lead and I think Liverpool will win there.

Yeah you're right it's too early to decide the winners of the league with the current standings, the title race is still on and you'll be suprised some of the teams at the top four currently might not even finish close to the  top four, they'll drop lots of points and finish 7th or 6th, yeah anything can happen and no club is safe yet, all their focus should be to remain consistent and not get carried away by the position they're occupying in the standings.

  The case of Tottenham should serve as an example, Arsenal also is another instance, last season they performed very well and where the most likely to win the league but at some point they couldn't maintain consistency to hold their position at the top and they dropped, giving City an advantage to win the EPL last season.

Liverpool managed to express their anger over the draw in the match against Manchester United by silencing West Ham with a big score in the League Cup match. West Ham really didn't move as they had to admit that Liverpool was much stronger than them in today's match. With this victory, I think the enthusiasm of the Liverpool players will grow to be able to provide an interesting match when they face Arsenal this week.

I think Liverpool level of play from today match if they are able to maintain when they face Arsenal then they can win. But if their game declines then it will be difficult to beat Arsenal because Arsenal is in a profitable phase after successfully sitting at the top of the standings in the previous week. These two teams are only 1 point apart at the moment so if Arsenal win then they will be able to widen the gap with Liverpool.

Tired legs from today and fatigue would definitely help Arsenal against Liverpool. Arsenal just like Garry Neville said are better challenger's for the Premier League tittle. I don't see Liverpool winning against Arsenal.

Teams ranked 1st to 5th in the Premier League standings will continue to compete until the end of the season to beat each other. Up to the 17th match, in my opinion there was no team that dominated even though we were forced to drop to second place in the standings after the match against Manchester United.
Liverpool is still very likely to take over from Arsenal in the next match at Anfield.

Competition to win the premier league title will continue to be fierce, starting from Arsenal to Tottenham in 5th place.
These five teams are very fertile in scoring goals, even regarding the number of goals scored, Newcastle is also very fertile even though they are currently ranked sixth behind Spurs.

The Premier League title race is very exciting this season. I think one of the main reasons for that is that Manchester City have dropped more points than expected. They've been champions in five of the last six seasons. They were also the last Champions League winners. I think there is nothing left to motivate them this season because they have achieved everything.

Yes, they have achieved everything but I don't see that as reason for not performing well this season, I think in because their key players are not fit that why it really affecting them but still the season is still in the middle and who knows the ones on top can withstand to the end of the season, after the transfer window I hope to see almost all their key players back again but they have a lot to do because the points interval between them and the arsenal on top is five points which if they can be in their full form it will be very easy to dethroned Arsenal for the table.

Yeah from 17 matches we have 3-4 teams who have been at the top of the standings meaning that struggles and shifts are still occurring so I agree that there is no team that is truly safe it's just waiting for the moment to overtake each other moreover each team at the top of the standings is only 1 point away if one of them draws then the other team will take over, like in the last match when Liverpool were at the top of the standings and drew later on the same day Arsenal took over. Talking about the Premier League means tight competition, weak teams have the opportunity to beat strong teams we will not be surprised by things like this, Everton is as an example now when they beat the strong teams and win in a row.

Regarding Tottenham, there is indeed a decrease in performance but lately it seems to be better 2 important wins can increase the morale of the players tomorrow to face Everton who is on fire with 4 consecutive wins, even though Tottenham looks more favored I won't say it's an easy match we know lately Everton is full of surprises so something unexpected can happen. Curtis Jones was massive today and scored twice. Liverpool really bossed the midfield and the wings. Leaving no chance for West Ham to do anything about it. Spurs and Man City are lagging but can always make a push back to top by heating up. Much easier for City in that respect as Spurs are really struggling with injuries.

This is a really amazing result by Liverpool who are really on fire this season,and are doing everything possible to win something,either the premier league,Carling Cup or FA cup.They are sitting second behind Arsenal on the premier league table.Tbis win against WestHam have pushed them to the next round of the competition.
They are very scary now to play with because they are getting alot of goals in their matches,and it would really be a difficult task to win them especially because they are in the form of their lives.We will see how that game is going to end,either Liverpool will win or Arsenal will win Liverpool,but it's not going to end in a draw.
