As I saw the performance of Preston's players, I thought Chelsea would score more goals. Chelsea dominated the entire match. The Preston team is relatively weak. They conceded 4 goals even after playing defensively. Preston would have conceded more if Manchester City or Liverpool were the opponents.

But I am happy to see Chelsea's performance. Because even after winning this match, the confidence of Chelsea players will increase. Chelsea looks more confident when playing in the FA Cup, which is natural because their opponents are mediocre clubs. We are talking about the last 5 matches and Chelsea won 3 of these 5 matches 2 of them were consecutive wins that's why I said Chelsea looked better than in previous weeks, as I said before Chelsea has the opportunity to win in the next match against Fulham because Chelsea is in a more advantageous position. Chelsea's abilities will be tested on February 1 against Liverpool well, if Chelsea can win then we can say they have returned to their best game but of course it wasn't easy because Chelsea was playing away. Quite some surprise results in the FA cup from the Premier League teams,they almost all of them have not won and we are at additional time now when the result are 1-1 for West Ham and 2-2 for Nottingham Forest.I know that most teams try their second formation when they are playing against lower division but that is unacceptable to not win against teams like Blackpool which is suffering a league down than Nottingham Forest.The same for West Ham,a team who won the Europa Conference League is not winning either against weaker teams playing in lower divisions.Luckily next week Premier League action will be back.

Chelsea needs time to recover. That won't happen in one or two seasons, especially since the Chelsea squad this season is really starting from zero again, in terms of chemistry between players, between coach and players, management and players, Chelsea has really been completely overhauled. so everything goes back to 0 again.

Maybe if all the lines start to get together again they will be successful again like Chelsea in the Captain Lampard era, the squad is really solid. We can see some of their purchases in the last 2 seasons to make the club better such as the purchase of some players who spent more money including when they brought Harvey Barnes for 44 million, Tonali for 64 million or even Isak who was bought for more than 70 million.
